How he decided to choose that type of voice, and gave that credible vibe, beyond my ken. Dude unleashed his skill subtly. awesome.. J C Nelson Dec 12 2024 1:57 am Wonderfully royal bearing as King Daemusin in "Princess Ja-Myung (2009) -- in every scene that he interacted with other characters, Mr. Moon embodied the monarch with a vaguely world-weary cynicism and wry wisdom. His portrayal added a depth of feeling behind the king's sometimes sarcastic wit that made it easy to empathize with this ambitious, complex character whose responsibilities as a husband and father often clashed with the burdens of his role as ruler of the ancient kingdom of Goguryeo. I found his performance quite relatable to today's viewers, especially those whose own parents may have felt it necessary to be harsh toward their offspring at times, even if they weren't raising their future successor as king of the country. Mr. Moon is a highly charismatic actor who makes the character he plays equally charismatic and attractive. TOK Dec 12 2011 12:24 pm Veteran Actor! He was great in 'the Road to Racetrack' , 'Missing' and 'Green Fish'. Also, Good to see him as a regular in Hong Sang Soo Films. He fits there very well.
