orange Jan 20 2023 5:12 am firstly knew him through gintama live action since he played my fav character katsura, then i watched him too in otomen as it's one of my fav manga. however, i truly fell in love with him in showa genroku rakugo shinjuu. again, the anime series is considered as one of my all time favorite series. i was a bit skeptical before watching it but damn, i dont think that anyone could pull kikuhiko so well as much as him. masaki okada played young until old kikuhiko while doing rakugo too and it was amazing! his kikuhiko is exactly how i imagined kikuhiko would be if there was a live action

Fuben na Benriya was the first j-drama I had watch after I got tired on korean dramas. LOL He's character in that drama is really funny! and the whole cast and the story is really entertaining to watch.

sora Aug 28 2015 11:16 pm Okada san proves it that he can act aside of his pretty face and innocent puppy eyes. Just give him this man a great script, either serious or comedic role, he'll do it. One of his role that I couldn't forget is at Life Back Then movie. His gesture in potraying fragile Kyohei is beyond expectation. Feel like I've seen different side of Okada's act ever since. And oh, also on Mindset movie where he played totally spoiled brat. Playboy, loves money, smoking, wear a wedding dress, kissing a man and he's doing a pole dancer! Man, he worked really hard here! I'll definitely make sure to watch over every doramas and movies he's in.

He's really handsome in Otomen and sooo funny at Hana Kimi. I can see that his roles are pretty much diversified after watching kiyoku yawaku, otomen, hana kimi, confessions, villain, akko's secret, and a gentle breeze in the village. Shika Aug 24 2014 9:20 am The first time I saw him was in HanaKimi. I like him in a first sight and the only one from hundred of man in that drama even he was just a suppprting artist. After that I never even think about him until someday my brother told me a good japanese movie, Space Brother. I like that movie and masaki of course, but I just relized that both of the main artist are also played in hanakimi after finish it. Now, I just relized how can I fall in love with the same person even I don't know that I ever like him before. Haha Now, I know that he's actually a big artist ^^

Ki Oct 21 2010 11:33 am I came this -><- close to watching the world premiere of "The Lightning Tree" at the Pusan International Film Festival, but the movie played outdoors and heavy rains that evening made me leave before the movie started. I didn't want to leave but I also didn't want to see a real life lightning tree happen in front of me either. Even though I missed the world premiere I did get to watch Yu Aoi, Masaki Okada, & dir. Ryuichi Hiroki make a live appearance at the PIFF village for a Q&A session. Here's some photos of that :
