ace Mar 07 2015 11:44 pm Ryoko Shinohara and Yo Oizumi were also together in Haken no Hinkaku. They played similar roles there as well. But in my opinion this is a much better show. While Haken no Hinkaku certainly had its good points, I felt Yo Oizumi's character was just an annoying cardboard cutout. But here in Ogun No Buta, I felt empathy for his character. And of course Ryoko Shinohara was great as always in a role she could do in her sleep. The two leads really do riff off each other like pros. They made it look easy.

All-in-all, it was entertaining and I'd recommend it.
