Set in Kyoto, Japan, a love story takes place between Hajime (Masaki Okada) and Reika (Kaya Kiyohara). Hajime is a handsome young man, who is usually a second quicker than everyone else and straightforward. He works at the post office. Reika is a young woman, who is usually a step slower than everyone else. After Valentine's Day, Hajime wakes up and is unable to remember what happened that day.

Notes

Remake of 2020 Taiwanese film "My Missing Valentine" directed by Chen Yu-Hsun. For the Japanese remake, the personality traits & backgrounds of the two main characters has been switched.

leon Oct 24 2023 10:19 pm looking forward to seeing this release for streaming or dvd. i find it fun that the roles are reversed, it's going to be hard to top the original female lead's impulsive and hot-tempered personality. however kiyohara will nail the introverted half of the pairing, as she has built an impressive background in acting in the recent past few years. mone, in the wake, the door into summer, and the brightest roof in the universe are notable films i've seen. this girl will certainly be an international sensation if not, an asian actress superstar. i look forward to the future films and potential that this girl has, like tsuchiya tao.
