Make one with Kong hyo-Jin and it will be the best. Just don’t use the writers and directors from that unwatchable space drama you were in

I next saw him in Touch Your Heart and he was the American version of Michael Scott from The Office, so awkward but I loved him. I loved him in Reverent and When The Camellia Blooms, too as well as a whole host of other dramas and movies. I'll watch just about anything, if he's in it.

He always improves any project he's in. There's just something Extra about him that many others don't possess. A certain subliminal humorous underpinning that always makes me pay extra attention to his character's emotions.

Mizu Jan 30 2025 1:22 pm I first saw him in 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' and Wow! His acting was so amazing that I couldn’t recognize him in other dramas. I was so surprised to realize it was him playing a normal character in Hot Stove League.

He’s such a Versatile Actor. He can pull off any role, whether it’s a mentally unstable character, a villain, a hero or anything in between.

Most of the time, he outshines the main leads in a drama because of his amazing acting. [Death's Game, Vampire Detective]

I loved the series where he played the main role, 'Revenant' and 'Uncle'. I hope to see more of his works as a Lead. I really want to see him as the main lead in future dramas.

FF to about 4 dramas later (feels like way more) and I have to say, specifically regarding his guest appearance on Deaths Game, he's Hawt! I'm ready to see him move into some Kim Young-min type roles. (My Mister, The World of Married.) Let's go short king!

Not that hateful mad type of character tho, he gave a slight comedy into the character hahaha, an enough amount for an apocalyptic drama. I'm looking forward to seeing Dr. Lim in Sweet Home 3.

I thought Dustin Hoffman played a blinder in Rain Man but this Actor was just outstanding in this part. I'm close to finishing the series and I want to know how it ends, but I don't want it to end. I've watched hundreds of k-dramas over the years, and this is probably the most outstanding, due in great part to the character of Sang-Tae. I'm blown away. Thanks to all involved. Please give us more.

He is a wonderful method actor. I’m not sure if he’s fluent in English but if he were to do crossover films in Hollywood he would do well. Very impressed!

But i had a feeling must be something with his character. I always saw him as bestfriend role and a funny guy. But as a villain first time in Fabricated City then i follow up seen him in Man on the high heels which he also played as a villain.

Una Oct 26 2017 12:47 am this is an actor for which you have an "aha!" moment, upon realizing he's the guy you've loved in so many things. he has a natural presence even as he's doing slapstick. its fun to see all the different characters he portrayed. sometimes he's just quietly there. sometimes he's a hilarious scene stealer. sometimes, he's compellingly sexy. hope we get to keep seeing him for a long time. I look forward to seeing him play the goofy old guy or the suave elder. he's going to be awesome.
