Everyone has a past and has made peace with their past, and has already been punished. Dispatch media in Korea is indeed famous for paparazzi and exposing celebrity scandals, and the netizens there are very critical. If there is a past mistake or sin, their career is over. Regardless, thank you for entertaining us all this time and happy retirement. I hope you find peace and tranquility and self-reflection. There are still other sources of income out there."

MyraKim Apr 08 2025 12:47 am I just have to leave a comment here because i really love this guy!! he's so brilliant in all his characters. i just finished watching Karma, and again he was an excellent actor even with a very small screen time. it was the first time for me having sympathy over a loan shark lol. he's not only ruthless but also has compassion and respect towards his employee, and that's what i love about his character in Karma. Really recommend watching it guys!

I know he is a good actor as he can play a villain too but i don't like him playing villain like in the Handmaiden. Hehehehe. He is so good in playing the bad guy that it can ruin his charming hero image.

My fav character of him is when he's on A Hard Day, Nameless gangster, Hwayi, An Ethics Lesson, Signal, Tree With Deep Roots, My Love My Family. Versatile actor! Best!

Quan Oct 08 2013 10:21 am I already admired Mr. Cho Jin Woong when I saw him in Chuno. When I saw him again in Deep Rooted Tree I decided that I'd like to watch more of his movies/dramas. All the actors/actresses in Deep Rooted Tree are superb, I really fell in love with the king, I am awed by the storyline, and I think Moohyul is among the most regal sageuk personas I have come across. Every time Moohyul appears on screen I would think 'handsome', 'elegant', 'proper', and he's the best dressed in the drama, too. However, it's his tiny facial expressions that qualify him as human enough to be the king's buddy == their teamwork/friendship is impressive ... (Sir, I wish you happiness in your work. Salud!)

I couldn't believe my eyes when seeing you've lost so much weight. It was such commendable. Yeah, you look much much better in my love, my family. I read in an interview of his that he was from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Usually when someone is born one place, but raised in another it's stated. I wonder which is the case Jin-woong.

ikr...the first time i saw him was in Don't Ask Me About the Past and then in Chuno. i thought he looked familiar when i was watching Deep Rooted Tree. no...really...whoa! was my exact reaction when i looked him up to see who he was. he's a great actor in everything i've seen him in.
