3 boys are arrested in a robbery and homicide case, that took place at a supermarket in a small town. The chief of the investigation team at the time, Hwang Joon-Cheol (Sul Kyung-Gu), has doubts about their conviction and begins to reinvestigate the case.

Notes

Movie is based on a true story. On February 3, 1999, 3 people broke into Nara Supermarket in Samnye, Wanju County, North Jeolla Province. Three people were in the store, including a 77-year-old woman who died by suffocation. 3 young men were captured and convicted for the crimes, but were found not guilty on October 28, 2016 after a second trial.
Filming began June 25, 2020 and finished September 26, 2020.
