Erika Mar 20 2024 4:38 pm Wow I have seen like 11 of her shows including guest spots. She rocks every single time. Her personality seems to be embedded in each of her characters.

I say "seems to" since of course I don't know her personally, but I mean there is something the same about her in each role, however she does an excellent absorbing her character as well.

I can't even rank my favorite role because she's so good in all of them. But definitely don't miss Our Beloved Summer, It's OK to Not be ok, Her private life, and the newest one I saw Tell Me That You Me.

It's a shame that she might not ever get a leading roll because of Korean beauty standards. Even though most of us kdrama watchers would agree that it is refreshing to see someone naturally and uniquely beautiful on screen. Keep your idols and plastics and give me Jin-Joo any day!

She has a special something that creates empathy and interest for her characters, and plays well off different fellow actors. One senses a serious attitude toward her job and acting responsibilities. Other young women might take her as a role model when it comes to drama choices and character engagement.

I love that you are teaching the FL to be human, to be present and to be okay about herself. It is not lost in me that the character you play had a stable early life and hers did not. Very interesting story and you are exceptional in it!

Ja Jan 09 2022 9:31 pm I noticed Our Beloved Summer, because of the two lead actors. What I didn't expect was Jin-joo performing the sidekick role in an assured manner, her past characters (I've seen her in three previous dramas) having been comedic. She handles the serious moments of OBS easily.
