Lee Je-Hoon began his military enlistment on October 25, 2012. Lee Je-Hoon trained for 5 weeks at a camp in Nonsan, South Korea and then served as a conscripted police officer in a police promotional unit. He finished his enlistment on July 24, 2014.

stayhoney May 30 2025 11:45 am I've known him since last year because I saw a lot of edits on Tiktok about Taxi Driver. I used to ignore to watch it because I thought it was not my cup of tea; although, I planned to watch it but I always posponed watching it. Eventually, I decided to watch it this month. Guess what? It is now my no. 1 favorite kdrama. It is Perfection. I really love the plot and how they executed each case. Not to mention, cases are real-life stories and they just adjusted some of them. I discovered him and he is really a great actor and his versatility is unmatched. After watching Taxi Driver 1 and 2, I decided to delve more on his movies and drama series. I watched Move to Heaven, I was surprised by the change of his character. He was really good at portraying a bad boy but with painful past character. He was indeed a great actor. I decided to watch more because I am really invested on his acting skills. Now, I already watched his 4 movies and 4 drama series, and I am planning to watch more.

I am looking forward for Signal 2 and Taxi Driver 3. I know that Taxi Driver 3 will be as great as the past seasons. How I wish that this drama would have more seasons dealing with real life cases. For me, this is really the best kdrama I've ever watched. Finally, I want to say that he deserves more recognition and happiness as he is really working hard for his upcoming projects.

More than that, as a person, he is kind, caring, & shy. (He also knows how to cook scrambled eggs, bless his heart!) I hope he is living happily, is healthy, & always does well. He is multi talented, very versatile, Lee Je Hoon is an exceptional actor, his demeanour and communication in that drama is top notch, he portrays the character so well. Who would have thought that M&A would be so interesting and very engaging in a drama. "The Art of Negotiation" is indeed a state of art. Kudos to the casts, director and everyone involved. This is the best Kdrama I've watched thus far this year.

Rifka Jun 05 2024 8:49 am actually I already watched the film architecture 101 in 2012 but at that time he was very cute so I forgot about him, then in 2021 I watched move to heaven and saw Cho Sang Gu was very handsome, then I looked for his profile on the internet and I was very surprised it turned out he was Lee Jehoon which is in the film architecture 101. How can 1 person become another person with different vibes and different faces, because i'm K-drama fan from i was 12 yo and when i watched another actor/actress i still recognize them but Lee Jehoon can become another person when he act. Until now I am a fan of him.

He acted so complimentary with Moon Hee grandma. He speaks so well in Eng, speaks of his intellect. He’s an actor one looks forward to new works. If you like him, make sure to watch I Can Speak, a touching reminder of atrocities done to women we must all know. Comfort women of the war, so so so sorry.

Plenty of crimes in the world like child abuse, wife abuse, take advantage of the poor, gangs bullying elderly, girls trick into prostitutiion and many more and they need help from rainbow angels..

Suzanne Apr 12 2023 1:46 pm I just finished watching Move To Heaven for the second time. So unbelievably good. I loved the entire cast, but Lee Je Hoon is such a joy to watch. I saw Signal 2x & Tomorrow With You, but I haven’t found anything else on Netflix with him acting. I also loved Ji Jin-hee in Designated Survivor & Tang Joon-Sang in Crash Landing on You. I would love to see more of them. Hong Seung-hee was a great addition, Lim Won-Hee was a very likable character, Jung Young-joo was great & of course I hated Jung Ae-Youn’s character, as I was supposed to. All the actors were great, but not enough time to name them all. Writing & directing superb, of course.

coffee Nov 25 2022 10:30 pm i rarely comment on the actor page itself, usually on the drama. but damn this guy is such a great versatile actor! i watched several of his dramas, and he nailed every single character!! awesome acting skills, just wow! for me he's not like the oppa that i dream about at night, but he made me want to binge watch all his shows! don't get me wrong la, he is handsome and i think he goes really well acting solo than with a love team. just my opinion but otherwise, whichever drama he's in, and he will be in in the future, for sure is something i will look forward too. (^o^)

He gives his all into his work but is not casted in many dramas and yet we continuously watch some boring actors (I won't mention names here) being given lead roles that they don't deserve. Suli May 18 2022 10:50 pm I've just finished watching Lee Je-hoon and Shin Min-ah 2017 K-Drama Tomorrow with You (TwY) this morning. This is Je-hoon's first work I've ever watched. My first impression, he is a talented actor who is smart in developing chemistry with his co-star. In TwY, I can't move on from the romantic scenes between Je-hoon and Min-ah, lots of romantic scenes, but not too much. I usually can't see kissing scenes comfortably, but on TwY, I can feel the purest kiss and hug from a man to his wife. Watching them two, I can't handle my heart and mind from imagining how happy being Song Ma-rin as a wife is. Yoo So-joon is really an ideal husband that I want to have in my real-life. Congratulation to Lee Je-hoon and Shin Min-ah.

Watching him feels like am watching Robert Deniro, the very reason why I watched Lee Je Hoon's Taxi Driver. Watching Moved to Heaven, Where the Stars Land etc. I can say he really is a great actor - less words outstanding actions. I will always identify him with clenched fists, stern facial expressions, disabling high kicks, relentless punches and reassuring passionate smiles. Really great acting,no wonder his awards are mostly Best actor. Top Excellence Award for an Actor 2021 is well deserved by Lee Je Hoon. Kudos!!!

I hear he is directing a short film now and I think he'll be brilliant at directing too (but so hope he doesn't give up on acting yet as I'd miss him). Also he's so cool in Collectors movie, love him even more.

His character has had a very hard life growing up and just wants to get by without being noticed, yet falls in love with a woman who gets noticed because of her personality. He is so awesome at conveying emotions from the accident that caused his disability as a tee. As the drama watcher, your heart goes out to him and yearns to just give him a hug and to tell him he is loved just the way he is. In the same way, Lee Je Hoon bears such an emotion when his character is face to face with the woman he loves and when he is listening to her...just the way he looks at her pulls HARD at my heartstrings. His disability makes him a little bit superhuman, but he just wants to be loved and to be treated like a normal person.

Obviously he is talented, and watching him in this drama makes me want to start watching Signal. I hope that is just as good!

Loved the music ??? My only complaint is that as with a lot of Korean films and TV people/ characters are always slapping or punching each other or begging to be punished or killed. I am glad to say as a Brit that our response would be to give the perpetrator a bigger slap or kick them where the sun don’t shine! And I am a grandmother! But I love Korean productions and I hope Amazon gets many more . Strong Girl Bong Soon is our favourite. I would love to visit Korea

Hard to show the strength and vulnerability, and still play the lover boy at the same time. I hope he liked his pretty female lead, I wasn’t too sure. But a great job to manage the part so successfully. We should see more of him. He deserved Best Actor. The beautiful girl who played opposite him I think may have been in I’m not a Robot, very beautiful. Did he like her as a person, not sure. The part acted by his older brother was well done too, very famous face from the past.

Those who love his acting, start watching him in variety shows. I was curious and really liked him in Three Meals A Day Fishing Village season 4. He was a guest for 2-3 episodes. And I am so excited to watch Traveler where he traveled with Ryu Jun Yeol, which I also loved in Youth Over Flowers and Reply 1988.

It is so enjoyable to see such good acting not often seen in dramas. I think he's on another level. For me the less someone 'acts' but he manages to show how he feels, the more impressive he is. And that's what Lee Je Hoon is able to do.

He got offer as the lead in drama city of the star, about someone who want to be astronout but there is no news whether he accept or decline it. He's in the middle of shooting of his new movie now.

Many times I saw comments that he's so underrated actor, it's not true, he's quite famous in Korea especially among movie goers because he's mostly active in a big screen. The reason he's not that famous among international fans is because his dramas are not as much as drama of another actors who well known in drama. But thanks to Signal that a lot of people come to know him now. One of those people is me who loves korean drama since long long ago yet just to get to know him after watching signal.

He has a lot of short films, so his filmography lists above would be long if they add all of his short films. I can say that surely he loves acting and builds his career from zero.

I'm watching Signal rn and I know I'm late af but I've never been so impressed by everyone's acting in a drama ever. Lee Je Hoon in particular blew me away, you can tell he's really passionate about his job. I've watched him in two different dramas before and even when his character or even the drama isn't exactly likeable (Fashion King) he has the ability to capture your attention and be interested in the story of his character. I also really loved him in Tomorrow With You. Altho that one was less intense than the other two and had a lot of more comical moments he was able to nail his role. He's overall an amazingly versatile actor. Not to mention the chemistry he has with his leading ladies. I know he has more movies than dramas and he's dominating the big screen and I'm really proud of him but I really can't wanna see him on my small screen again. Bonus: Not to be shallow but he's really good looking, Signal has some really good closeup shots of his face which forces you to admire his facial features. Lol Waiting for a 2018 drama with him as a main...finger crossed

sarah Mar 15 2016 9:18 am lee je hoon is a great actor. I've known him since fashion king(with yoo ah in and shin sekyung) he is amazing !!! I kind of know why some people didn't like the way he acted or pronouced words (signal)in korea but I see what he wants to convey too. his charecter is a police recrute so he had to change his way of speaking (hangul is kind of weird that way each situation and job require some kind of new way of prononciation) but then that character is actually a psychologist so he is not exacly a police officer nor a detective he is THE ADVISOR so he can still keep some kind of warm feeling and less harsh way to his speaking .So to me he nailed it so if u ever get to see this je hoon shi just know that there are some people who get u and u've done such a good job!!!! (the issue was quite severe in korea that a representative from his company had to adress it!!!!!! ) fighting :) always a fan

At least, in TK2H the plot was amazing and he also was offered the male lead compare to FK. Not just that if he choose that drama, he got the chance to play alongside the experienced actress, Ha Ji Won. But at least, I'm glad that male lead turn out to Lee Seung Gi :D

Fashion King is a drama that made me very angry not because of you, is the writer made me very angry.

Your next and other dramas , check the writer is it going to give you a better role to act in personality , comedy , happy romance otherwise you may loose out and chase away viewers.....
