A woman named Seo Ji-Woo (Lim Soo-Jung) traveled to India and met her first true love Kim Jong-Ok. Since that time Ji-Woo can't forget her first love. She then turns to the company "첫사랑 찾기 주식회사" - which means literally "Finding Your First True Love Company" to help track down Kim Jong-Ok.

Han Gi-Joon (Gong Yoo) started "Finding Your First True Love Company" and he takes on Seo Ji-Woo as the company's first client. The pair travel all over Korea to find Seo Ji-Woo's first love and & in the process Han Gi-Joon finds himself falling in love with his first client ...

"Finding First Love" is based on the Korean musical play "Kim Jong-Ok Chatgi" which has been running since June 2006.
Jang Yoo-Jeong, the writer for the musical play "Kim Jong-Ok Chatgi" directs the movie version.
Lead actor Gong Yoo sings the movie's theme song "Second First Love" ("Du Bunjjae Cheotsarang").

Jane Sep 11 2021 2:07 am Actually the story is good and funny, only the plot is a little confusing, messy. The scrpt writter should understand that the story needs to be enjoyed by the audience, not be confused with the riddle of who Kim Jong is.. and why Gobg Yoo appears in 2 different characters with a same looks. This is a romance comedy genre, not a mystery thriller plot whose ending must be guessed. You have to watch until the ending to understand what is the writter thoughts. At the end of the scene, it is revealed that Gi Joon and Ji Woo's first meeting was about 10 years ago at Osaka Airport, when they exchanged airline seats between India, Osaka and Seoul. It is a destiny plan no body can guess. My fave Gong Yoo is cute in this movie :D

The real Kim Jongwook is played by Uhm Kijoon in airport when the film is about to end.

Kim Jongwook were played by Gongyoo just to picturing audience about some guy Seo Jiwoo met in India. Thats how character Gi-joon imagining the story she told. It's not Han Gijoon at all.

Yes, the ending part is a flash back. It's the time when Seo Jiwoo decided to not see the ending of her first love and remaining good memory. That's why Han Gijoon remember, there were not raining in Osaka. Just then, Seo Jiwoo lost contact with her first love. The matters of this film.

It want at all irritating as many other korean movies I've seen til date but I didnt care who ended up with whom, all I wanted was to see who kim joong wok was and I was furiously disappointed.

I enjoyed this movie very much! Korean cinema offers something very unique to its viewers. I appreciate the quality of it, and can never get enough!

HarryMatt Jul 06 2011 11:17 am Watched it yesterday and loved it from the start to the end.I loved the scene after the climax.It was awesome.this movie was a real fun ride although it started to drag a little bit in the second half,the climax makes up for it. personally i can rate it in the lines of My Sassy Girl since this also deals with how fate & destiny is involved in the relationship of two strangers.I highly recommend it.give it a try,you won't regret it.
