Plot

Min-Soo is on leave from the military and visits his boyfriend Seok-Yi. While having fun out on the town, they run into Min-Soo mother's mother! When the Min-soo's mother asks about their relationship, Min-Soo replies "... just friends." Making things more complicated, Min-Soo's mother ends up sleeping between them that night!

Im just proud of Yeon Woo Jin, he’s got a brave heart to do this queer role in a conservative Korean society. it’s like a challenge he had to pass in order to cross the mortal realm into heroes of ancient Greek mythology. not everytime it’s given on a silver platter, for this YWJ had my respect. I was searching for Yeon Woo Jin's profile after being haunted by his performance in the drama " just an ordinary love story" on KBS World and ended up finding out 'bout this movie of HIM. I couldn't explain my emotions then. Just seeing him way tooooo cool & wild & sweet in "just ordinary love" and then a gay in this movie @.@ What an talented actor! What more can I say ???!!!! Anyway, love this movie right after watching its trailer >"< Keep fighting Yeon Woo Jin :) You're an gorgeous actor, for sure -.< :)

S. H. Dec 06 2010 3:45 am Is this supposed to be a true sequel to "Boy Meets Boy"? If so, I think they got the names of the two lead characters mixed up >_> I'd like to think of this more as a spiritual successor.

Anyway, adorable and touching film. Let's hope Kim and other Korean directors continue to make more LGBT films!

Farrah Mar 03 2010 9:55 pm Chingoo-sai? (Just Friends?) was very light hearted, sweet film. Though the running time is very short (30 min including credits) I enjoyed it immensely. It definitely lived up to my expectations, which were quite high since this is a sequel to one of my favorite gay Korean films, Boy Meets Boy. Though it is a sequel, it can be watched on it's own as there is very little on going story line.
