Never trying to outdo anybody else just giving her best to make the male and female lead role even better, I think motivating them to give more of themselves.

Raven Apr 08 2024 12:45 am I really enjoy her performance's. She can perform both dramatically and comedically. One of my favourite things about her performances is how I can almost mistake her for a completely different actor in her dramatic roles. Often when I've seen her in more serious roles it takes me a bit to recognise her or I find myself thinking she is a different actor from her more comedic roles. She's so versatile and I get particularly excited when I see her in a more dramatic role because they are usually really chewy and interesting. And then she can turn around and do a really silly comedy part and she seems like a completely different actor. I love watching her work.

Steve Apr 06 2023 10:05 pm Talented and versatile. Agree with Renwa about Mad For Each Other -- Baek Ji-Won was great, and its an excellent drama. However, my favorite performance from Baek Ji-Won is as the mother in Encounter. She absolutely nails it. Her character feels real - a bit awkward and funny to start, and then she brings the raw emotion of a protective mother that fills the screen.

Shes an amazing actress and performer who can make you laugh, cry, furious and sad with all her amazing performances. Her character in cheer up, do you like brahms, racket boys,snowdrop,once again, the fiery priest, once upon a small town and many more were all perfections. She always embraces all the character that she played splendidly! I hope she will be given more lead character role and more awards and recognition for her craft. I wish she will also have more screen time in the upcoming extraordinary attorney woo. Manifesting for more projects to come for Miss Baek Jiwon, my number 1 favorite korean actress. Keep rockin queen!

Jilli Jan 01 2023 10:03 pm First time I saw her was in A Beautiful Mind (2016) and she was only in the drama for one episode but she blew me away with her performance, as a wife whose husband is dying of a brain tumor but Jang Hyuk's doctor still tries to save his life even though he had agreed to a directive to end his life if it was severely compromised. When Jang Hyuk's doctor didn't listen she pulled the plug on her own husband and killed him, rather than see him suffer anymore. Wow, that was so powerful I never forgot it. When I started to see her in other dramas in larger parts I was thrilled for her. She deserves it, big time! A fantastic actress!

Pat A Aug 31 2022 3:08 pm Baek Ji-Won is actually extremely attractive but for some reason the producers dressed down her beauty with makeup and clothes befitting someone in their later years. She is a wonderful actress and has played many roles in many series and dramas. Her performance in Extraordinary Attorney Woo was excellent but she deserved more of a major role. The writers should have made her Woo's mother, in which Attorney Woo was instead abandoned by her father and have the actor playing the part of Woo's father the Taesan Attorney seeking the position in the Ministry. I may be biased but I believe Baek Ji-Won is one of the best actresses on any NetFlix series deserving of at least an emmy in her supporting role in this series. I'd like to see a season two where Baek Ji-Won is given a bigger role and possibly a love interest.

Frank Dec 31 2015 2:28 am She's an amazing actress. I'm watching her in "I Have a Lover" and she does an excellent job of portraying the evil sister. She's also funny. She was really good in "Heard It Through the Grapevine" and "Secret Love Affair." I love her taking strong women roles.

Ms. Baek Ji-Won, I have to say you did an excellent job as the detective, I was convenience you could be a detective in true life. You make women in law enforcement look very creditable and for that you are owed a sincere thanks. I truly hope to see you in more movies and more television dramas.
