The way he delivered his role was amazing. So cool and so little dialogue but his expresions were so amazing and his voice..Wow. Loved his aspect in this drama. The first time I saw him was in The Liar and his Lover and also fantastic. Wish to see him in more romantic dramas- Love from Spain

Even in movie action like Rurouni Kenshin he can pull out the layers of himura kenshin very well. marathon trying to catch up all his movies and dramas, I found his acting and various roles are so underatted. he remind me so much on Korean Actor Kim Jae Wook.

Got impressed 1st on Kairi Tendo, but more that make me fall in love with him was after watching Rurouni Kenshin.

Man Kenshin was my favorite anime character back in the day! So when I stumbled upon this live action adaptation of Rurouni Kenshin on a movie list on my flight back home, my interest was definitely piqued and I had to check out who was cast as my precious Kenshin. Takeru was born to be Kenshin!!! My gawd! From look, to build, to aura! He had it all down to a tee!!! From that day onward I became a super fan!! He's an amazing actor and quite the looker too! hehe Always look forward to his projects.

Paradiseana Jun 02 2017 6:50 am I saw him in his latest film Rurouri Kenshin-Kyoto Inferno 2016 a sequel to his 2014 film based on the same character a Japanese historical time legendary fighter, he made the movie and character so cool. I mostly like Korean films,dramas and actors, but because of this film he's become my first favorite Japanese actor something about him he's super cute, super cool. I will definitely be looking into more of his work he's so good to look at.

dokidokitake23 Nov 29 2016 8:20 am I came to know Takeru when the live action Rurouni Kenshin was announced in 2011 and I watched his drama Q10 because I want to see if he can act well and I was not disappointed, to say the least. By the time I saw Kenshin in theaters, I was blown by his performance and portrayal of the character that I became a fan right there and then. He's really a good actor and I watched all of his dramas and movies. My most favorite drama of him is Tenno no Ryoriban, his performance there is simply outstanding and brilliant and unforgettable, and I cried many times watching that drama (I recommend it to almost everyone, friends, acquaintances, internet mutuals xD lol). Anyway, I'm always looking forward to all of his projects and will always support him. He was indeed born to be an actor - an amazing and engaging one.

Keep doing good work Takeru-kun. I will watch all of his work hereon. He is superb.

He was so serious, brave and professional as Kenshin, so mature and calm as Koichi, so clumsy and funny as Nogami and so amusing and really, really charming as Natsuki! I am sure I wouldn't know it's the same actor if I haven't known how does Takeru look like. But I think he is the best in comedies, he's got very big comedic talent and it will be pleasure to see him in more comedy dramas or films. He's also very handsome and athletic. It was miraculously to watch Takeru in "Rurouni Kenshin", when he was fighting. Great work, Takeru, we wait for more! <3

JR Nov 13 2015 12:06 am Before Kenshin, he played as Okeda Izo in NHK drama Ryomaden. Izo a real assassin in J history, his story inspired characters in manga and film including the character of Kenshin (wiki). His role in this drama can be seen scattered through season 1&2. In this role, it's inferior samurai who followed the path that quickly be rid off during political turbulence, so it's tragic end not heroic like Kenshin (in film though, in manga and anime with further development, Kenshin is quite a tragic character for me) and he did a great job. I agreed he is a pro actor who can act many roles and made those roles outstanding from Kamen rider den o to emperor's cook. That seconds of face expression in emperor's cook tells all. Will love to see more of his works, thank you Takeru.

Ally May 12 2015 10:05 am Sato Takeru has successfully converted me into a Japanese drama and movies fan. I first saw him in Ruroken....love, love the movie. Just out of curiosity looked up his other works. Fell in love with Sato Takeru from watching his dramas....he just totally became all the characters that he plays. My favs are Tonbi and Bitterblood. But I love all his other works too e.g. Kamen Rider Den O, Q10, Fuyu no Sakura, Beck and all the rest. I can't understand some people who says he can't act... he is an extraordinary actor. Though he says he wants to explore the possibilities in western films,I don't think thats a good idea. They'll just make him some side character because he won't fit the western look required (Personally I think he is one heck of a good looking man) I think the Asian Films are making big strides in the film industry. He should stay and make it big in Asia. Soon there'll be Hollywood, Bollywood and Asiawood ;-)

Firstly, I thought that it was Akanishi Jin who played the role as Kenshin, but not (they're really look alike). Anyways, I was so WOW amazed that he really perfect the styles of Kenshin in the anime. After watching the movie, I search what other movies/series he had. I didn't expect that he's Koyuki on Beck. Well I'm a new fan of him ^o^

P.S. I would probably conclude that after watching all of these,you'll noticed that you crave for more.. or maybe you enjoy it so much that you would want to see other Japanese dramas cause you learn that the stories and plots are better than the Koreans..that's for sure.. I should know..im not a fun of j-dramas before but after learning about shun oguri and kamenashi kazuya both from gokusen..now im a big follower of j-dramas.. :)

Have to tell you guys that i'm madly in love with his voice and his tone while acting. So gentle and nice. As I dont watch and know much about Japanese showbiz, but to me, he is one of the most talented young actors out there. Doesn't seem to loose to anyone when it comes to acting skill. And he sings, dances, and can play guitar. Just too perfect.

In 2014, I watched his sword-fighting films 'Ruroni Kensin------2nd Chapter and 3rd Chapter' in Hong Kong Cinemas. I was attracted by his fast and speedy sword-fighting. Then, I watched his love-story film 'The liar and his lover' twice in Hong Kong. I now know him and like him. I am really looking forward to his 2 future films in 2015. Actually, I have already bought the fiction book (one future film) in Hong Kong. See Seto in Hong Kong Cinemas soon.

Thanks to your exceptional talent, the story that was just written on paper came to life. I've watched all three and my most favorite fight was your last match with Soujiro. Maybe because I'm a bit of a weirdo that I feel like Soujiro and I are somehow 'alike' and we both need someone like you to bring us back to our senses. Cheesy. *laughs* But anyways, I would like to make it crystal clear that I'm not like some other girls who drool over your 'cuteness' alone. It's your talent that amazed me. I know this is too much to ask from someone like you but if there's a way that I can see you in person, please have your staff send me an email. Hope it's near the Philippines though. angel Mar 12 2013 8:20 pm i've watched most of Takeru Sato's movies and dramas,he is very versatile..he can portray any role..a cool guy in Kamen Rider,a confused-student in Q10,a nerd-innocent musician in Beck,a crazy looking baseball player in Rookies,a smart- supportive bestfriend in Bloody Monday and a mysterious wanderer in Rurouni Kenshin. Aside of acting,he do hosting,singing and dancing too..he is an all in one,,that's why he is my favorite japanese actor now..i really hope that he do another kenshin movie and visit the philippines,,he is very welcome here!..

xyryn Jan 13 2013 10:37 am Takeru Satoh fits very well with the looks, the attitude and lets say everything about the main character, its like seeing Kenshin in the real world and not just the anime character in a series well i hope takeru satoh acts funny/amusing like the kenshin in the series it would show us the real kenshin, i really love this manga and I'm really glad that they made a movie out of it since this really is an epic anime series, it can never be replaced and now I'm loving it more with the movie,,yeah and i hope they would make more movies next to this since its only the start of the story..i'm so excited to watch the other parts eeeee and i hope it would soon or maybe sooner..and by the way TAKERU SATOH YOU ROCK \m/ AND YOUR SOOoo charming and very HANDSOME

naily Jan 13 2013 2:16 am i love samurai x, the story of this manga which written by nobuhiro watsuki, couldnt replaced by another. i keep on love this manga until I am married, i have babies and suddenly i am hearing about the made of this movie from internet, i cannot wait to see it, sometimes when we've already read the manga we dissapointed with the film. it doesnt work to samurai x. it always be awsome. because of the progress of technology and the serious made of this movie, it is really a must watch movie ever. hope for next movie. May Allah give us a chance to meet again samurai x the movie

I wanted to look it up on here, but its not listed under TV Movies... oh well. But seriously, if you love Takeru, you should watch Saigo no Kizuna!

Could make a good movie out of it. Complicated and mysterious character. Most importantly his acting was so great. Someone else wouldn't fit so perfectly.
