Nancy Cadet Sep 05 2013 8:20 pm I just saw The Apology King with Abe, and then met him at Japan Society, New York. My question is: why do comic actors adopt the Peewee Herman look with short trousers, tight jackets, child like haircuts , etc? Is this some kind of international code of funny?

Abe is a gifted comic actor,and I think he co wrote this intelligent film , Apology King. So why does the film borrow from 1990s American TV culture, such as Peewee's Playhouse and In Living Color?
