Chooozi Apr 05 2026 6:17 am I really like his acting, and it is especially heartwarming when he plays the good guy role like in Confidence Queen (not sure if there are any other series with him being the good guy but hope to see one if anyone knows). For some reason Mr Park Hee-soon is often in scenes with him enjoying his food xD I don't know if it was deliberate or just pure coincidence (especially with The Judge Returns...too many food scenes!). Other series where I noticed his food scenes were The Witch: Part 1 and Confidence Queen (tho not as much if i recall).

He can be fierce as a king. He can be Bruno Mars too. Haha. Thank you for being James, Park Hee Soon. Hopefully, the season 2 of Confidence Queen will become true. I missed watching the trio, Yi-Rang, James, Gu Ho.

So im currently watching him in Trolley and once again, he never disappoints me.

Alyssa Aug 01 2022 8:49 am Been in love with him since The Client. Though I watched it for Ha Jungwoo at first but he caught my attention and been trying to follow his works since then. I wont say I like all of his projects but most of his works are my kind of tea so I tend to enjoy and willingly watch them. He is so versatile and what I love the most from him is his micro acting with his eyes. He could tell so much just by a glance. Not to mention his raspy voice which automatically draw attention. I am glad that he has been receiving so many good reviews and gain popularity thru Netflix's My Name. Hope I could see many more from him. Park Heesoon-nim, fighting!

Victoria May 25 2022 1:32 am Amazing performance in My Name! The deep and complex emotion in his eyes was so touching. Yes, he's good looking, sexy, and hot, but on top of that, what really made me crazy was his incredible acting. The last scene that Mujin and Jiwoo fight was so impressive, it looked like action, but all about emotion. I fell in love with Park Hee-Soon and started watching his other movies and dramas. Great actor! Hope to see him more in the future!

And he was the one who support jiwuu and makes her stronger, so didn't expect the last part.

I fell in love with his character in an instant, I just love how he portray his role, so charismatic and cool villain. Sadly I ship him and Jiwoo, and was expecting for the romantic twist, but ofcourse it didnt happen. Anyhow, it was superb! He needs more recognition,...as Best Actor!

Lily Oct 31 2021 9:35 pm I'm surprised the acted only in 6 dramas. This guy is so good!! I didn't expect to feel attached to a villain... He played Mujin so well, the sadness and melancholy of the character... he wanted to pay for a house at the beach for Jiwoo, and help her to get out of the country. Both characters didn't have many affectionate interactions but he and the actress portrayed the connection between YJW and CMJ amazingly in My Name... hands down....

Why Oct 28 2021 8:12 am He always such a good actor but his charisma as choi mujin is so exceptional you'll end up focusing on him in every scene. If anyone just discovers him, dont forget to watch his movies and dramas. I recommend you to watch Beautiful world for a totally different character from him. All of his movies are good so it is hard to recommend. XD

Sidenote: I always think this and please don't hate me, but at a certain angle, he looks like an older Kan Han Neul....think about it.
