On February 26, 2018, staff from JTBC drama series "“Clean With Passion For Now” announced that filming has been halted to allow for Kim You-Jung to receive treatment for hypothyroidism. The drama series is now scheduled to air sometime in the second half of 2018.

I’ve migrated overseas but still remember the child actress Kyj with incredible acting skills onscreen. Gosh, she really stole the show with those tears and natural expressions. It’s 2023 and I’ve begun to pick up kdramas again after a long hiatus. I rewatched The Moon Embracing the Sun to see her with Yeo Jin Goo again and after that I also revisited Love in the Moonlight. I’ll never get tired of her mesmerizing beauty & acting.

I’m planning to watch her other kdramas and movies while waiting for her upcoming project “My Demon”

Kim You Jung is accomplished and we'll respected as a young actress. She started her career early yet she displayed a rare maturity. She's so smart and very talented. She displayed her remarkable intellect several times in variety shows. She's very clever and very talented too. She can pull the bull by the horns.

As a young actress, her presence and depth in acting at very young age is beyond others. In my opinion, dramatic portrayals whether heavy drama, comedy etc... She's one of the few actresses who I can actually feel the emotions in her acting. She's like Jodie Foster and Natalie Portman.

Kim You-Jung is the kind of woman you'll be proud to introduce to your family. She has a natural charisma. She has this pristine, natural beauty that you won't get tired looking at her. The more you see her, the more beautiful and attractive she becomes.

She is that charming that people will keep looking at her. Due to her dominance, she is destined to play main leads. Even if she plays a side lead, she will eventually out dominate the main lead.

She fits romance, melodrama (because of her naturally good crying), rom com, sageuk.

However, we need to stop seeing her in melodrama and sageuk. It hurts to see her cry cuz it was so sincere. And people in general will never see her in modern roles if she keeps playing sageuk dramas.

This is for her growth and development, about time she takes independent and smart girl roles. Legal and business dramas, you name it.

And no, please no makjang, no murder mystery, no thriller. Remember, her smile makes people smile

KYJ is in Gong Hyo Jin, Song Ji Hyo class already. Some younger age actresses come close to KYJ's skill, but I couldn't find male actor of younger age group that come close. It take years to hone their skills. I guess girls are fast learner compare to boys? Lol. Just teasing.

Yemz Apr 13 2016 11:10 pm I've been thinking about how everyone wants Kim Yoo Jung to be in a Highschool drama, I mean who am I kidding I'd love to see that too, but she is obviously not going for those types of roles. If you have noticed, every role she has taken are roles that play very strong characters, a role that would help her improve as an actress and can help her overcome any difficulties. Playing a Highschool drama is way to simple and does not give any challenges like she wants. Yoo Jung has stated many times before that she wants to grow as an actress, not grow her list of dramas/movies. So as she is transitioning into an teen/adult actress we should support her and proudly accept her roles that she obviously deserves. I am a huge fan of hers, especially after TMETS. And compared to her last role in Angry Mom, it obviously proves that she doesn't want just some bubbly Highschool character that can't decide who she wants to date. Lol. It has been seen too many times y'all. Give that concept A BREAK

She blew me away in Dong Yi as she made cry so hard, I was pleasantly surprised by her very small appearance in the Great Queen Seon Deok and I greatly enjoyed her role in The Moon Embracing The Sun. Right now I have only one complaint about her, and it isn't necessarily about her, but more how limited her roles in dramas. For once I want her to play more than the younger versions of female leads and appear only in the beginning of the drama. I thought that Secret Door would be the beginning of that, but once again I was disappointed. Luckily for me that change is finally happening. I can't wait for her upcoming movie (Joy) and drama (Angry Mom).

As the gumiho's daughter in 'Grudge: The Revolt of the Gumiho' (aka 'Gumiho's Revenge') she and young actress Seo Shin Ae handled a huge portion of the acting and came away as the most impressive players in the story. It's not for everyone, and there is not a whole lot of happiness to be found, but the show is well acted, and the two young girls both shared the award for best child actress for it. She's also featured throughout the run of 'Tamra the Island' but with much less screen time. Her innings are coming, though. I'm quite certain that there will be many lead roles for in the as she's already an accomplished, and popular actress with a cover-girl face.

She completely blew me away in the Moon Embracing the Sun. She's not only pretty but has the grace that an actress should have. She definitely deserved the awards that she won and I sincerely hope she wins more in the future.
