Do Do-Hee (Kim You-Jung) is the successor of the Future Group. She has an arrogant and cool-headed personality, who doesn’t trust in anyone. She is cynical about love. Do Do-Hee gets involved with a demon named Jeong Gu-Won (Song Kang) and makes a contract marriage with him. She faces big changes in her life.

Jeong Gu-Won is a demon. He can live for eternity by making dangerous, but sweet deals with humans who endure hellish lives. He looks down upon humans and he has prowled over this world like an apex predator for 200 years. He gets involved with Do Do-Hee and somehow loses his power all of a sudden. He then enters into a contract marriage with her. To prevent his own extinction, he must protect Do Do-Hee who has taken all of his power. Their relationship develops romantically.

But i will give it a try to watch more episode, cause i watch here because of kim yoo jung, a lot of her drama is clingy but still popular. Moreover, i know song kang is definiton of handsome like manga, number 2 after cha eun woo, but i was really drooling seeing him in this drama..so dazzling sparkling, i cant describe how handsome he is, and sometimes he is more shining than yoo jung..hope this drama will capture my heart..

The plot is almost similar though I think Doom at your service Male lead is much better Seo In Guk where he is more mysterious serious while SongKang is soft in MD it doesnt suit him being a soft guy. The scenes and plot has a lot of similarity to other romcom. The plot and some scenes for this romcom is too common ang Ive already seen them these years unlimited romcom. Maybe I prefer a more thriller action these days, A Bloody Lucky Day,High Cookie,vigilante, goryeo-khitan war is much more thrilling and exciting to watch this november for me.

smarty-pants Nov 24 2023 11:51 pm i thought i didn't like the ML due to some reasons, say i dont like his vibe in "nevertheless". I didnt finish nevertheless. Not my cup of tea. Then in this drama, i changed my mind, I like the ML now, at Ieast i could watch him. I dig deeper why i disliked him before, well, must admit now, that was because he is a very skillful actor, and the character he performed in nevertheless is supposed to be dislikeable, i think. So he did a very good job there, that good, i didn't like the character so much, i quit that drama. lol. He is a good lookin dude too. With dangerous vibe though. But sometimes pd nim sold actors' faces way too much, so the actor end up as an annoying face, IMO, of course. Any how i am in for KYJ but probably would root for the ML too.

This world needs less religion as we are witnesses every day to the chaos, war , death and destruction which fanatics for the various religions constantly murder, torture and denigrate anyone who isn't their own kind of true believer. I give Netflix a two thumbs down for their persistence in airing such biased programming.

The bridge scene where do hee's life is in danger is so intense! I truly felt do hee's fear. Kim yoo jung perfectly portrayed it! you can feel the emotions as if you were in her situation. Also the part where do hee is about to drive the car so she could run away but suddenly "Boogsh!" the body of the perpetrator landed on the windshield (I didn't see that coming so I was also terrified)It is so intense even the background music. Not to forget also the ending part which is magical ? kudos to the team!?I'm already hooked! ?

From 2020 - 2023 is just one after another , I will not watch this drama that is very offensive to me

Then in this the FL has the ML tattoo (his power) and now he will protect her because she has something he need to protect

Though they both looks good onscreen, I cant feel a spark or chemistry maybe because of their aura which is they both have strong personality like badboy and bad girl. Unlike most of romcom majority have an opposite personality like badboy + goodgirl or goodboy+aggressive or badgirl. Lets see if this will start airing.

Ancient Greeks concidered demons good spirits who were protecting people, actually the word is ancient greek and even in modern greek has no evil connotations! On the other hand devil comes from the greek verb diavalo which mean to slander and is a word made for the Septuagint used by Greek speekin Jews in Egypt (2c.-1c.BC) to translate the Hebrew word Satan. In simple words demon is something like Gong Yoo in "The Goblin" and the Devil is .... what u learn in the Bible . Have no fear , have fun!!

I remember in Youth MT where everyone is swooning over kim yoo jung and hwang in yeop haha. It's a variety show but looks like they are making a drama since their chemistry is strong by just conversing and interacting to each other. And because hwang in yeop is too obvious on his actions and emotions towards her which made him fly instantly hahahah? Indeed, she can easily create chemistry to everyone else.

The stares that captivates the emotions and feelings of the leads hooked me up. Even the background music used dwells very well to the voice of both leads especially the female lead. She has an amazing diction and delivery of the lines full of emotions. Seeing the behind the scenes in the poster making, I can't help my self from giggling and smiling from ear to ear since the chemistry is overflowing and exploding. Song Kang is a chameleon and unrecognizable from role to role making him one of the best out there. I never think “I’m watching Song Kang in aa role” I can only ever see who he is playing at the time and he does this seemingly effortlessly. As for our princess. I recognize that it’s her in every role but she plays her parts with the most heart rendering sincerity making her an absolute joy to watch. I always want to make sure that she is doing ok in and out of her roles because she has been giving us her all since childhood. Tdhool Oct 13 2023 6:41 am Don’t come at me but I feel like this drama’s going to be boring not because it’s a romcom but when the leads are too perfect too clean almost inhumane there be no story. I’m not talking about their visuals, nor the way they are dressed BUT simply the way they behave I dont know how to explain. Like this it’s harder to feel the chemistry putting 2 beautiful people won’t necessarily makes you feel emotions. For an example while watching the drama « The forbidden marriage » I felt butterflies from the beginning to the end :)

P.S: Never taught Song Kang and Kim yoojung would do a drama together still wishing them the best <3

Hann Oct 13 2023 3:59 am I just notice that this year 2023 , Almost all kdramas are romcom. Like chaebol with a mixed of fantasy. etch. Like 90% of this year drama.There’s only like 3 to 5 kdramas that have an interesting and unique story like moving, revenant, arthdal. The rest are a bunch of romcom even if its a historical romcom or romance, and almost same plot time travel, ability, rich and poor, marraige contract which is not my cup of tea and the story became boring since the genre itself is already predictable and theres already a bunch of kdramas with same plot. This is just lucky that this will be aired in Netflix.
