Wow, what a great character you played in “My Dearest” I wish you would get more recognition, but Iam so glad to see you win at KBS Award 2023. You deserve more awards. I hope to see you in more lead roles.

Abida Jan 03 2024 6:57 am One of those persons who radiate honesty and modesty, soft heart under a firm shell, and at the same time open and vulnerable. You get a wish to somehow protect the fine vulnerable soul but all the way you know he'll be fine without anyone's help. For, he is a pleasant watching experience. As an actor, he always gives me an impression to have studied his part thoroughly and had taken it to heart. When I see that he plays in a show, I choose to watch it nonetheless the quality of the show itself.

Jillibean Nov 07 2022 5:57 pm Ever since I first saw him as the North Korean soldier in Descendants I thought he was unique and superb. I always smile when I see him pop up in a Kdrama. Maybe someday he'll actually get a lead role: he deserves it! You are missing one of his credits though: he was with Lee Dong Wook in the beautiful short drama Kang Goo's Story, from 2014. You should add that to his resume.

soom Aug 25 2021 5:35 pm Really enjoyed his character in Search WWW. He has a quiet yet intense sensuality to him, he is just waiting for a serious leading romantic role.

The camera loves him, and his smoldering looks--wow! He'd pair with almost any talented actress (not the cutesy ones).

Casting directors--where the heck are you?! You are missing out just using him in a heavy/supporting role.

You played a serious, extremely complex part and yet made him a character that anyone who has lost a loved one to an unfortunate event can empathize and sympathize with. Very likeable. Integrity as well since that character was able to readily admit to his crime. You definitely are a talented man. Also, quite handsome.

On an aside matter, your suits and the way you dressed in the show were a cut above anyone else! Whoever picked your wardrobe has stellar, impeccable taste!!

You did a really good job in portraying the dignity of a journalist and how to be responsible of your faults. You made me cry so easily whenever I remember your unique character. Hello Sep 29 2020 3:02 am Love Ji Seung Hyun in Team Bulldog and The Good Detective... the difference between the characters in the respective shows, Tak Won and Yoo Jung Seok is phenomenal. Just goes to show the amount of talent he has. Tak Won is really cool though... especially in ep 4 of Team Bulldog where he protected his friend... Ahjussi hwaiting!!! P.S. He just acted in a new movie called The Swordsman

Abyss Sep 25 2020 9:23 am Am currently watching Search WWW! Incredibly surprised to see this hyeong paired with the actress I know from Stranger 2, but he's making a slow turn around. I hope that as the show progresses we see more of him, he's been given a more emotional character here compared to in Model Detective.

In that, I would say I like his acting more in Model Detective. Definitely look forward to his future works. Hyeong fighting!
