A prisoner transport vehicle overturns and the dangerous prisoners escape. Korean gang boss No Sang-Sik (Jo Young-Jin), who worked for the yakuza, is one of the escaped prisoners. To catch the escaped prisoners, the police decide to once again form a special crime investigation team consisting of prisoners to catch the criminals. Detective So Oh Goo-Tak (Kim Sang-Joong) forms the new team with Park Woong-Cheol (Ma Dong-Seok), Kwak No-Soon (Kim A-Joong) and Ko Yoo-Sung (Jang Ki-Yong). The yakuza soon enters the picture.

Someone Oct 31 2024 12:26 am Everyone who complaining about why the 2 member didn't comeback is definitely stupid and don't understand the ending of season 1. Even in this movie already hinted that Tae su don't want to involve in any cases anymore. Jeung Mun also have cleared his name from being the serial killer why would he comeback??he got his life back living happy with his GF no need for him to involve again. Instead the cast from Bad Guys 2 should join. If Oh gu tak died there is prosecutor Woo who can lead them next or even Detective Mi Young. Bad Guys 2 is bad because of the messy plot but the actors all great and I could argue some are on par with season 1 characters.

Now we need the real Bad Guys S2! With ma dongseok, jang kiyoung and kim ah joong! Maybe kang yewon can be the captain this time if Oh Gutak dies. Or maybe ji seunghyun and the team lead can lead the mad dog team now!

I dont like the Bad Guys Vile City. Drop it on ep 3 because it is more towards politics. I prefer the bad guys to solve day to day crime better.

Marie Nov 02 2021 10:35 am WOW!!!! I've been binge watching action korean films esp those starring Ma Dong Seok. He and all the cast members are great. I really like the story and the characters. Hoping for part 2 :D

Still a treat just like the drama Jul 20 2021 5:12 am It could have been better if Jung Tae Soo was recast as one of the main characters..T.T And yes Park Hae Jin at least derserves a cameo at least.. Hopefully, there would be future movies or season 3 for the drama..

Vile City was the best, no pretty faces, just a great plot, action and grittiness with bits comedy and a great sound track. Loved the hallway scene where Choi Gwi-Hwa / Ha Sang-Mo was going to attack Joo Jin-Mo / Heo Il-Hoo and said to one of the gang members what the heck are you doing with a saw, get back to the end of the line.

louise May 18 2020 11:34 am Season 1 is one of my all time favourite series. I loved the whole cast. I really disliked Season 2 and wished they had just made a seperate series instead of linking it to the first one. The 1st season had a great plot and character, the 2nd season lacked everything; the plot was all over and generic and some characters were pointless.

So when I heard they were making a film with some new character added and some missing from season 1, I was very skeptical and have held off watching it but from the trailer, it looks like a light and fun watch so I may add it back on my to watch list.

This was my third movie and laughed so much on a day I really needed to laugh. I now live in Arizona and Korean dramas have to be subscribed through Direct TV but not all are translated. As for movies, I have to travel 4 hours to the nearest theater that shows Korean movies. So, for those of you who are privileged enough, please take advantage of these great movies. I really wanted to see so many others, like "Parasite".

It turned out, that he wasn't actually a "bad guy"/ wrongly accused. He was free of the murders.

Jo DongHyuk's character would also not make much sense, since he wanted to live a quiet and non-criminal life.

I know they will add great actors for this, so let's all wait?

Also, it seems like bad guys vile city will have another season seeing jung taesoo (actor jo donghyuk) made a brief appearance in the final scene of the final episode. I hope the pd have a plan to continue the bad guys series. The acting, the plot twists, the storyline are so perfect and mindblowing. I honestly cant get enough!!!!! >.<
