The writers did an amazing job with a very intertwined plot. I came to care for the characters quite quickly. The actors were very good and the chemistry between them worked well! The series was incredible and he had a lot to do with it. The emotions he brought to each scene, it was just so real and believable. The most recent that I saw him in was Running Man in which he totally comanded my attention in that movie. His role in All About My Romance, I have no doubt matched perfectly with what the writer envission the role to be. I find Ha Kyun acting prowess very attractive. Liz Apr 24 2014 5:06 pm LOVE nearly everything SHK has done although I had to watch Care Noir twice. I was brained (knocked out) by brain, superb acting. The way the character Lee Gaun Hun was developed by SHK over the weeks. LGH's personality the real person came to the forefront. LGH went from a character I wanted to slap to a character I wanted to give a big hug to......bless him but he need some love. At times I would watch the drama shouting "NO, oh my god, don't do that"! Really my son though I had lost the plot. He may look like Mr average but after watching him on the screen there is nothing average about his acting.Watching Harvest Villa at the moment on a drip by drip basis.....trying to make my injection of SHK last as long as possible. The Devils Game was very good as was No Mercy For The Rude, My Brother. A friend gave me a box set of Korean films, the best Christmas present for 2013 because one of the films was "Welcome to Dongmakgo". After watching SHK act I am usually an emotional wreck, he makes me cry all the time. I have watched a few interviews with SHK usually with English subtitles, I am so fascinated by his shy, sweet persona, love the body language and the little boy lost look....I think he could be a wolf in sheep clothing! I wonder if Shin Ha-kyun like blonds with big blue eyes and pale skin.....? After watching him in "All About My Romance" earlier this week, have started watching "Harvest Villa." He's able to convey so much through his facial expressions...at a glance the changes are barely detectable but in just seconds his expressions can run through an entire gamut of emotions. Can hardly wait to check him out in other roles, though I suspect I will continue to like him best as the adoring, infatuated lover in AAMR! Ah, that smile! He is really a great actor although i seldom see him in drama as shown in Wiki, he actually starred more in movies than in drama, what a pity actually. I prefer to see him in episodes rather than just 2 hours show. Brain got me hooked from 1st episode till the last episode. I'm enchanted and charmed by him, only in the middle part of the show, where he open up to Choi Jung-Won slowly but definitely. His character is also the type of man i like, appear cold and manly on the outside, doesn't know how to express himself, does silly things for the one he love, the way he looks at Choi Jung-Won when his mum has passed away, it's just a lover's expression of 'i know how you feel' too, all about him i do love EXCEPT for his overly ambition and greed, which is what i dislike most of the times. I believe it all make a fool more blind than unnecessary. Fortune, fame and reputation does all that to a person and exactly how long can a person be famous and rich? Even if he had it all, he wouldn't be happy and unable to bring it to his grave and all that he need was Choi Jung-Won who can be by his side, sharing his ups and downs, they are just perfect together. Hopefully i'll see him starring in another drama very soon, even though his acting skill is more suitable for movie as it is more wide-range to showcast his acting abilities but it still give a 'far-distance' feeling, drama will be more closeup and intimate, which will definitely brings him more fans and to more audience who have never see his movie before. Then, in Devil's Game he is absolutely fantastic. Since then he became my favorite actor. Then I started to watch the other movies he appeared in.
