He has such a striking presence—handsome, cute, sexy, charming all at the same time, and the manliness really sets him apart from other K-actors. His versatility is also commendable; he can transform into so many different roles. Though, meloromances suits him best, those eyes speaks a 1000 words indeed.

It honestly surprises me that he isn’t more widely recognized yet, because his talent and screen presence are undeniable.

Wishing him all the success he deserves in his future projects!

He is very appealing and handsome especially his masculine figure AHH! I just can't stop thinking about him. Ever since I watched bulgasal it was very addicting I kept watching it over and over again it's really heartbreaking even though I watched it many times. He's so attractive especially his calm look, and behavior seems mature I think I'm utterly obsessed.

I have never been so into korean actors for so long despite watching tons of kdramas ever since. I don't remember crushing on one actor and imagining he be my partner for life haha just kidding. I just watched him in Bulgasal and thought "this actor look so hot" and that's when I start watching his previous dramas. Goodbye, Mr. Black made me love him even more, his character was the greenest of all green flags!

He sure belonged to the top 5 Most Handsome Actors in Korea of all time. Even his countrymen can attest to that. And he is very much underrated. Popular korean actors usually have pretty visuals and soft and delicate skin/features. The ones that look like who wouldn't kill an ant. It's so rare to see a korean man with such a strong features and physique. He can rock both beards and clean-shaven looks, any clothing and hair styles, and even while looking rugged like a thug in Sweet Home, he's still oozing with charisma. His eyes are definitely his charming point, it looks so expressive that it feels like he can see through your soul. I also find him a good kisser based on his melodramas shh~

Lee Jin Uk is the embodiment of Hot and Sexy but Cute and Handsome. Even his voice sounds attractive to my ears, its so soothing yet manly.

I can understand why Doona is obsessed with him, Eunho still chose him after all she had gone through, why Yoon Mari regrets not waiting for him and instead marry someone else, and why Korea named him "Master of Appearances". Lol

Please give him projects in the future. I love seeing him more. Korean ahjussis are really on the next level and I'm just on my 20's. He's my type along with Ju Ji Hoon, Hyun Bin, Kim Jae Wook and Zo In Sung.

Why he doesn’t have more airtime in season 2 especially in gane proper, and the cliffhanger from the episode shows that he died. But in the poster he is one of the main characters. So i hope he is alive or still alive in the season 3 and give him more airtime and exposure together with hyun-jo. ❤️❤️❤️

He has hardly aged in all that time, still as handsome as ever. Of course my top favorite of his works will always be Nine: Nine Time Travels which is a total masterpiece and unforgettable. I've lost count how many times I've re-watched it. :) One of the best actors in Korea.

From that on i become fangirling of him. Did a superb and good job in sweet home. But only few scenes of his shown. Luckily he still on Sweet home 2 and 3. Wishing him all the best. Carol Webster Jun 06 2023 10:18 pm I thought Lee Jin-uk as Bulgasal was Brilliant. I had English subtitles as I'm Australian and watched Bulgasal on Netflix. It was riveting. His acting was incredible so even though it was a fantasy plot I found it amazingly believable. Great acting!

I'm rather disappointed that there isn't going to be the season two or three because this program could have run for a continuous series given all the adventures they could possibly get into. blunt_object May 15 2022 11:44 pm Bulgasal is the first time I've seen Lee Jin-wook and I was impressed by his portrayal of Dan Hwal - a lonely immortal man driven by the need for revenge. He was restrained, reserved, wary and defensive. But when he started opening up to his found family, especially Min Sang-Un whom he had complicated feelings for, it was beautiful to see. His puppy face when he started to accept that he had fallen for her was so cute. The pain in his face, when he found out that he was the cause of everybody's curse and suffering, just when he found the reason to keep on living, was heartbreaking. I bawled my eyes out. Glad that the gods gave them another chance 50 years later.... Btw...his changing hairstyles as Dan Hwal deserves its own fandom. Haha

Nani Feb 07 2022 4:20 am I've seen Lee Jin-Wook act in Voice 2 and 3 and ithers, and loved it. But I really loved him in Bulgasal and his acting was absolutely fabulous! Bulgasal was so "couldn't wait to see the next episode" amazing and I loved the storyline, of how it all unfolded! Dan Hwal & Min Sung-Un truly belonged with each other. You could really feel the struggles, sadness and regrets, and at the same time feel the deep sense of compassion, commitment, understanding and love each of them in each episode. My sister and I both of loved the acting and loved watching Bulgasal! Gamsahamnida!?

Second time i found him on drama voice 2 and i still have no interest. After BH entertainment show up in 십오야 yt channel i found him funny, then i start watching bulgasal and now The time we were not in love while waiting for newest episode of bulgasal. Imagine voice 5 ends with him calling out to kang centre, her turning around to see him smiling at her, finally free of all anguish. That would be the best ending ever. And if they can sign him up for a bigger role in s5, we'll that would be epic! Imagine him and jang hyuk in one season!

bemyonlyhana Dec 08 2021 6:30 am I just discovered him this year because of Voice series. At first, I was kinda disappointed because Jang Hyuk was replaced by Lee Jin-wook in Voice 2. But I never expected that I will like him and climb up to my bias list. His acting is very satisfying, and his eyes do the thing just like Lee Ha-na. I was really heartbroken when the writer killed his character, like it was not necessary. Kwon-joo and Kang-woo are potential love interests for each other. ㅠㅠ Because of Boiseu I wanted more of Jinuk and ended up watching most of his dramas. His gaze is literally his greatest asset.

I also wanted more of Jinuk and Hana. ? Their chemistry and tension was overflowing. I Wanna See Them In A Romcom PLease K-Drama Gods Hear My Desperate Plea! Reunion Drama For Them Juseyoooo

But since I love the crime drama Voice (watched the first season early 2020), I also tried watching the Voice 2. I never thought he is there too. I loved the character very much as he portrayed it very well. Though I also love the shape of his lips :). I hope there will be more of him in Korean dramas.

I never thought I would love the character Ko Kang Woo that much. I was watching Voice 4. But I miss Detective Ko, so I'm watching his other drama Good Bye Mr Black .

In my perspective, Detective Ko found to be more active and passionate in chasing villain, compared to other male leads of voice series. I wish, OCN/tvN, writer director will bring back the character Detective Ko. His character was chasing one Villain in voice 2. And in Voice 3 another villain. And he shown to be shot by villain of voice 2. In that all efforts in Voice 2 is useless. I hope they will really bring him back in voice 5 or so. Nothing is impossible, its all human written so., please hear us writer nim.

soom Jul 08 2021 8:50 am For those who don't seem moved by his acting/looks, remember that he is very at ease in front of a camera, his delivery is natural, but like all actors, he is limited by #1--the script, the dialog he is given, #2 the mood he is given by the director, 3# costume and makeup/hair. So it is a whole series of individuals whose input determines an actor's screen presence and delivery. His physical appearance isn't dramatic, no flower boy features (a plus for me) but he portrays an honest humanity which lends itself to believability. So many romcoms are pushed so far beyond real life that they become farces, and lack any real entertainment value for me. He delivers.

His acting skills are insane ! A Character like Do Kang Woo, on the edge of madness is extremly complexe to performed. Lee Jin Uk did it like a master. All my respect to it. He has nothing to envy to any Hollowood greatest !

The way he immersed himself in the character was amazingly reflective and so alive that we could feel in every scene the pain and sorrow of Do. I mean how can someone say it's boring? Can u please elaborate on that!! U either didn't watch it properly to understand the acting and the stort or u r still new to the TV and cinema and therefore you don't know how to appreciate and evaluate yet a certain character!

It only bothers me a lot because I don't see any list of awards he received. Haven't he won any until now? From Air City, Glass Castle, Spy Myeong Wol, I Need Romance 2012, Nine, The 3 Musketeers, The Time We Were Not In Love, Goodbye Mr. Black, Return and Voice 2 & 3, Sweet Home, didnt he receive any awards???

He's really good in acting, whether it is melodrama, romance, or action, he carried it out perfectly. Until now, I kept on repeating watching his works. He suits him well whatever role he is into.

I am just praying that OCN could still find a way to twist the ending of Voice 3 and make him return on the upcoming season 4. Instead of replacing him, why not offer him higher compensation since he made the series highly recognized when he joined from season 2.

Also, I am waiting for the season 2 of Sweet Home. No matter how they disguised him to be ugly, his eyes and gaze will always be something they cannot cover it up unless they close his eyes. He is really handsome and manly.

The director of Sweet Home is the director of DOST. I wish DOST Season 2 will be offered also to Jin Wook. He was superb in acting and looks in Goodbye Mr Black. The soldier/navy uniform suits him well because of his structured body and height.

Done watching Running Man episode. Just like everybody is saying, he is very calm and intelligent person proven during the quiz portion.

Keep safe LJW! We will always wait for your upcoming works. I hope you can find already a woman who will take care and will give you much affection till you aged.

Happy that you like Powerful Opponents :-) I love it too, I sometimes feel old Korean dramas have more moral and life value. All casts were great in PO especially that lil actrees, very talented. I like Lee Jin Wook with all types of hair style:) Many said his middle parted hairstyle in TTWWNIL looks not good on him but I love it much, makes him look very natural, easy going,and cute :-)

I watched Ms.Granny last year, I forgot promoting it to you :-) it is a good movie, touching story, and the main actrees is very talented one, I love all those songs sung by her at the movie especially when the song video clip showing her young life moments as a young mother taking care her little son without husband ， I got teary eyed while watching this scene, and some scenes made me laughed out loud :-) Lee Jin Wook appeared not much in Ms.Granny but I always like his role as well :-) I am happy that you were glad watching Ms.Granny, I was also remembering of how hard our parents raise us, their children, thank to our beloved parents ... ！

I think we must watch Lee Jin Wook's new movie Time Renegade soon , it has been released at all cinemas in Seoul on last 13th April 2016, and it got 500,000 viewers at the first weekend (box office in Seoul) and its said will be also airing in all Indonesia's cinemas on coming 22nd April.

I like both Su-Ho but appearance wise, I preferred the after, because I don't like the curly hair on Jin-Wook. It makes him look messy. ulva moon Dec 10 2015 9:42 am @Christina, I have watched City Of Glass, and I love it too, I love all Lee Jin Wook's dramas coz I like his acting and of course , his good looking and his face expressions also the way he read the dialouge is somethng different with other K actors,and it made him unique ;-)

Although its sad ending, I did enjoyed the drama coz Lee Jin Wook's character there really a kind, gentle,and unconditionally love his wife. I really love the scene when he sang a song over the phone to lullaby his wife when he was away from his wife (he was on his job trip in China).

You might find that the setting of this drama was old coz you are late to watch it , it has been 7 yrs ago.. But fyi, this drama was popular last time , and I always like Lee Jin Wook's dramas no matter how old is it ;-)

And yes,now I am waiting for Goodbye Mr.Black!

christina Nov 17 2015 10:11 am Continuously watched all Jin-Wook's 3 dramas starting from Nine: nine times time travel...also watch INR2 before that....totally fell for this actor's charisma. Really very manly....he played every characters so well. Anybody noticed that he can twitch his left ear? He actually can extraordinarily control his facial muscle! I watched one of his interviews where he said that when he takes up a cast, he turns himself into that person. One Chinese actress does that too...but once she was in a very emotional drama, she took a very long time to get back into herself. Hopefully being a man, Jin-Wook can handle that better than her. You pushed yourself to give us the best....thank you...keep well and may you be more and more successful and popular in 2016.

But it was not happy ending to see you did not end up with the lead actrees at the story.. also got crazy of u in Nine Times Time Travel . in Nine i was really unclear abt the ending. however, you are the best K actor for me. you were not majoring acting or theatre or film but you do very excellent even much more than other actors whose education background majoring in acting / theatre . fighting,oppa！！！
