Neka Oct 17 2021 6:58 pm She's cute and super talented. She might not be the most Japanese beautiful actress I've ever seen, but her acting is definitely out of this world. She clearly know her job, she knows what she's doing.

I first noticed her from this independent film, Pieta in the Toilet. She's so pretty there, and her change of emotions from one to another? *chef kiss*. Then I saw her on Her Love Boils Bathwater, and that's when it hits me. What a talented young actress. She's not like any other actresses her age. The way she deliver her act is different, adult-like for the most. Then on Bleach, her fighting skill is superb, I thought she had a background as a martial artist before, but turns out she's not? How did she do that? I am simply amazed.

I personally think she needs more International recognition, she should at least play in some original Netflix show, or if I can suggest, play in some great independent films that has great plots and that are not cliche. She will definitely glowing there, I'm sure. I feel like she's born as an indie actress. But I think that's just my opinion. Anyway, keep doing what you're doing, Sugisaki-san. Looking forward for your next films/tv series.

AB Sep 19 2021 1:58 pm She's a very talented actress who can convey every emotion from heart crushing sadness to heart bursting happiness, with the perfect expression for every role she acts. The subtleties of her acting are as good as the veteran actresses of the past, when she can change the atmosphere of a scene with a slight movement of her eye or lip or a hand gesture, which many actors take years or even decades to master but, in Hana Sugisaki's case, she already at her young age can do these kinds of scene-changing vibrations.

Unfortunately the highest rating on this site is 100, because after every film she is in that I watch, I want to rate higher but already have rated 100 so it's impossible. She's certainly among the top 10 brightest shining stars of the future of Japanese actresses! Also, one of the cutest girls on the planet.

What kind of roles she will have in the future, it doesn't even matter, because in any role she will shine like the moon on the darkest nights! But, I hope she will have more roles where she can present her refined acting skill of emotional transformation like in "The Promised Land" with the scene-elevating subtleties of her expressions and in "Blade of the Immortal" with the immersion in her role that wrenches your guts with empathy.
