Bem (Kazuya Kamenashi), Bela (Anne Watanabe) and Belo (Fuku Suzuki) are humanoid monsters. They disguise themselves as a human family, but their appearance transforms into monsters when they get extremely angry or sad.

Phoenix Fire Nov 03 2014 7:16 pm This is easily my favorite of Kame-chan's works so far. I've also seen the live action and have enjoyed it too much I'm going to watch it again tonight for the 3rd time.

Kame-chan was able to convey Bem's thoughts and feelings without having to say too much. His eyes are quite expressive and eloquent which he used effectively. Anne and Suzuki were equally effective in their respective roles, and so were the rest of the cast. They couldn't have chosen a better group of actors it's like the roles were tailor-made for them. Wish there's Part 2 for the movie and Season 2 for the live action.
