Manji's (Takuya Kimura) younger sister is killed in front of him. With his wrecked body, he takes revenge for his younger sister. A mysterious woman appears in front of Manji. She gives him eternal youth and immortality.

Rin Asano’s parents are killed by the swordsmen group "Itto ryu” and her parents’ fencing studio is destroyed. To take revenge for her parents' death, she asks Manji to be her guard.

Rin and Manji begin their fight against "Itto ryu”.

Wayer Jan 07 2018 5:54 am I did not recognize Erika Toda at all. Her face become too skinny. Anotsu is dashing and dancing just like in the manga, I'm gonna stalk his other works. Rin brought to life is kinda putoff to me, I liked her better in manga. As for KimuTaku, I'm biased and too used to his style so NC. Overall the movie is enjoyable.

I really enjoyed it from start to finish the cast the crew, the costumes, the makeup, the music, the Action was top notch, and the set designs are excellent.Takashi Miike did a really good job of brining the world of blade of the immortal to the big screen I mean it looks like a living breathing manga if you have not seen this movie yet go watch this movie right now i was Highly entertained with this movie my rating a sold five out of five stars see it you don’t want to miss out on this live action manga adaptation.

Secret Nov 17 2017 10:23 am This movie is great. Maybe the only thing that i noticed here is how come during after every fight scenes their clothes still looks clean? That final battle before toda joins up with fukushi, sota's clothes were still clean. Other than that i think this is a great movie and hands up for sota for taking up the anti-protagonist role. Didn't expect it from him. All in all, if you want to watch bloods spilling as well as arms flying all over the places then i think you should watch this movie. Have a great day.
