Can't stop it and now I figured out about his acting spectrum by watching his old drama (warm and cozy), hospital playlist (not finished yet, I think I will stop it), dr. Romantic s1 and new year blues are on my watching list.

Just finished watching some of his movie mood of the day, love lies, perfect proposal.

However you sir brought tension frustration desire to a level of an adult demonstrating thoughtful heartfelt emotion. If this role had been played as an over emotional guy the series would have been trite. I have watched you in Mr Sunshine. Hospital Playlist and now Interest of Love. Each different but all wonderful. I believe your interpretation made the series successful

He needs to be casted casted in Jekyll and hide movie . I saw him in a tv reality show too and he is really gentle and sweet person so opposite mr. sunshine character , similar to the hospital playlist’s character . Actually I like to see him in more historical dramas , the saying ——clothes don’t make the man, is wrong —-in his case clothes make him the man , I totally adore you , and bravo super actor , and God bless you .

kpopandgrime Nov 17 2020 9:46 pm The last time i saw this brother on the screen was back in 2017, when I fell in love with GU FAMILY BOOK (Personally my number 1 kdrama of all time ); highly recommend this drama to everyone out there. Yoo Yeon Seok was one of the main reasons why I love that drama dearly and with all my heart. hes one of the most versatile actors around and he sure leaves a long lasting impression on the viewer.I hope he does another Historical kdrama; he just has the perfect voice for a scholar.

well I do remember his role as Park Tae seo , so he sure does. I just finished dr romantic and for me he was one of the few actors who could compliment the character of master kim. just for that role he was able to bring such great awards back home; Daebak!!!!!

After that, I watched almost all the dramas he acted in, with my favorite so far being Hospital Playlist(yes i ship wintergarden hardcore)! He's such an amazing actor, not to mention how good-looking he is, and he's the first ever person I've actually stanned, I'm not even kidding. So yes, my bias isn't some random kpop idol, its yoo yeon seok!

I've watched the Mr. Sunshine series a number of times and some of the scenes he's in are heart achingly beautiful. As long as it's on Netflix I'll be watching.

azu03 Nov 25 2018 1:01 pm I ended up here, as I've been watching Mr. Sunshine.. a masterpiece as we all know by now. But I got to say although I pretty much love all the characters (minus the evil Japanese guys, those I despise w all my might) his portrayal of Goo-Dong-Mae has made me his new biggest fan. He's done an incredible job in owning that character. I've felt the pain when he's had suffered and the way he makes me want to root for him to stay with Ae-Shin shows how much I have come to embrace and love his character. I can't say enough good things about how much I've come to love him in that drama. I must admit I even replay several of his lines/parts just to see him again and again. I will be very sad once I finish this drama especially as I foresee a sad ending for him. :(

@txtlinda I feel the same way.. I cheer for him more than Eugene Choi. He can be my Mr. Sunshine anytime I wouldn't complain! ;D

Now I am watching him in Mr. Sunshine. i actually had to look it up to make sure it was the same actor. He was made to act the part of Goo Dong Mae. He stills scenes and possesses that part. I haven't finished watching it and am hoping for him to have a happy ending, although I realize it isn't likely. But he should play these long haired, rough around the edges tender hearted bad guys more often. It changes my whole perception of him.

He really takes ownership of his character and as you watch, you will forget that he is an actor.

Out of all the Korean dramas I've watched so far (Moon Lovers, Cheese in the trap, Goblin and Weightlifting Fairy) his kissing was the best. It wasn't an awkward press your lips together and stay still, it was realistic and passionate. Great work. If I had a trophy I would give it to him for that scene alone.

I also liked Warm and Cozy but didn't finish it it got too cheesy for me and the Royal Tailor got to boring so I forwarded a bit. Perfect Proposal is PERFECT! Note: keep an eye on the dog! Such a cute dog! And finish the movie too you'll be surprised!

YYS can honestly pull off so many diverse roles. First time i saw him was in "werewolf boy" where he was a total asshole.
