eeyao Mar 28 2025 10:48 pm i've started and stopped attempting a review for this talented actress so many times. i can only gush incoherently. she's soooo good. i've watched her since Vampire Detective, and i've been so happy to see her climb up and get starring roles.

my favorite dramas from her: Red Sleeve, Kairos, What Comes After Love

i also love her in Duck Town, it's a black comedy-ish, surreal slice-of-life indie movie. honestly the story is rough around the edges but her performance really cements that Lee Seyoung can be anyone. she's just so good.

i really hope to see her in a mystery thriller. or another melodrama, i love her in those. i heard she wants to play villains and she may play one in The Remarried Empress. i hope she does well and that she's recognized more internationally, because she truly deserves it. many times her male counterparts get so much attention, but it's Lee Seyoung carrying most of the time.

i need to watch The Crowned Clown as i heard it's great too. if you're still reading this far and want some quick entertainment, go check out Seyoung's BTS [메이킹] videos on YouTube. even if you haven't watched her dramas, she's absolutely hilarious in those!! watch her interviews as well, she's such a rare breed of human that you won't be able to help falling for her. LeeSeYoung is the prettiest Korean actress. She has a beautiful face and personality. Big eyes, pointed nose, flawless skin. An angel. Her acting ability is superb, she's versatile too. Co-actors, production people have good words for her. No actress disease which is very common to Korean celebrities. I will look forward to all your projects. Don't ever change. Aside from her career, she is such a lovely and funny person. I immediately fell in love with her personality. She is incredibly beautiful inside and outside.

I hope with all my heart that people can recognize her, she deserves all the love in the world.

Her acting, poise, versatility not to mention her soft looks glued me to continue episodes non stop. Even my friend recommended "Red Sleeve" and commented that she's a really talented actress.

Other then drama character I hope to see other roles she has to offer.

Seyoung and Junho were phenomenal in The Red Sleeve and I'm currently devastated as I have nothing to look forward to as I have finished the series.

Loved the plot, the chemistry, and the strength of the characters which the actors executed flawlessly.

I hope that she stars in more exceptional dramas as I believe she can give justice to all kinds of characters. God Bless you Seyoung! I really hope that your talent is recognized not just in Korea but around the world!

Cel Jan 29 2022 1:39 pm Very good actress!!!! I was looking for something to watch after I finished another drama. Red Sleeve kept popping up but I was ignoring it. Finally, I thought of giving it a try. It was actually her acting that kept me interested in the Red Sleeve. She is very versatile as she's able to do comedy, romance and serious scenes. I think she is perfect for the role in the drama. She's funny, pretty, charming, serious, emotional, humble, etc. everything, she has it.

Red Sleeve is very good as it made me laugh, cry, and love characters. It made me long for the episodes (I kept going and it's very hard to stop). I was a bit disappointed with the ending but it seems to make sense. When I got to the end, I had to quickly find another drama with her in it. So, now, I'm watching The Crowned Clown where she is also very effective. Although I like the other casts in Red Sleeve, this is also good. Lee Se Young, for some reason, just fits these types of historical roles. I've already stored her other dramas in my Watchlist to see how she is on modern roles but I'm sure she's also very good. Hope to see her again in another 2022 drama soon. Will definitely look forward to it. She is now one of my favorite K actress :)

The story line and the characters were so intersting to watch that's where we started to demand for another season showing with more romance and how they overcome with a cute for CIPA patients and lived happily ever after!!!

After I was extremely satisfied with Lee Se Young's drama 'Memorist', I was thinking if I should watch Kairos or not, I gave it a try and I didn't regret it. Lee Se Young is really a top actress, especially in portraying emotions and developing chemistry, she looks and feels good with both older and younger co-stars, that's talent ya all! Even though she isn't credited properly by poor MBC for her acting performance (no award at all for outstanding performance), but you win my heart even more!!!!

She is not afraid of new challenges on her characters and those difference is perfectly showed as like a queen, doctor, superintendent, part time worker, etc. I have no doubt that she will get more popularity and recognition that she deserves soon.

Daebak! it just like yesterday I am watching Doctor Joh, she already in Memorist, memorist also feel like yesterday, and She already in Kairos that I also currently watch. She can potray all her character so well, I remember the first time I see her in Puberty Medley. the drama is soooooooooooooooo cute and after that She often played as annoying girls. But, also good. Fighting Lee Se young! :D

The more I know about her, the more I love her. Now I'm become a big fan of her. She heals me with her pure, innocent and bright charms. So I'll watch her all dramas and always love her.

She can portrayed all of her characters very well. She made me cry in Doctor John and The Crowned Clown. Made me laugh in Wolgyesu Tailor Shop and The Best Hit. Her acting in Memorist is just great. Hope she will be really popular in the future. I'll be waiting to watch Hotel Lake soon.

I was moved by the emotions she put into that role and made me care for her character, in some aspects I loved her character more than the lead... Then I watched Doctor John and it really amazed me how different her character was in that one compared to Zombie. Her and Ji sung's role in doctor John, their chemistry... The slow build romance everything was perfect.❤️

Since then I've been watching all her shows and she really is an amazing actress who can act... From a serious woman with a traumatic past in Memorist to the silly but cute obsessive girlfriend in Wolgyesu Tailor Shop to the mature but sensible queen in the Crowned Clown... You name it! She's shown great acting range. I love her!

Also I hope she does more romantic dramas. I know she recently said in an interview that she prefers to do roles that are challenging, which is great... I am happy for her and I will support her no matter which role she chooses to do but I still wish and hope to see my girl in more light hearted shows romcoms. All the best Unnie ❤️
