Jung-Boon (Moon So-Ri) lost her family in the war and she is now raising her daughter Mi-Soo (Lee Se-Young) alone. Teenager Yoon-Ha (Seo Kang-Joon) also lost his family in the war and he is raising his little sibling alone. Yoon-Ha falls in love with Jung-Boon, but Jung-Boon cannot accept his love and she moves away. Later, Yoon-Ha and Mi-Soo begin to work as teachers at the same school. To be with Jung-Boon, Yoon-Ha pretends to like Mi-Soo and proposes to her.
