He was perfect. I love action and he really made it look great. I'm not a fan of a lot of 'dark' art movies he has played...just too scary.

Anonnymous Jan 19 2023 12:50 pm Just looking at the actor, i assumed he played roles where he would be the gangster, mob boss or just in roles that would intimidate you because he just has that serious, mysterious look to him. Especially when he doesn’t smile. But seeing him in a couple of his roles in movies like peninsula, violent prosecutor and vanishing boy, i noticed that he’s pretty much a very versatile actor who’s top genre he does really well is comedy. Glad i finally found out about him. I hope he starts to do more tv dramas and not just movies. Because once the movies end, i get uspet i have to find another movie to watch to see him more.

Goregeous, amazing, talented actor with hypnotic eyes, and becaus of them, I am hardly tied for "Duelist". I thought Sad Eyes be out of my mind, I thought it was just a matter of time Till I had a hundred reasons not to think about them. But it's just not so, I still can't let go, and I've still got his face. Painted on my heart,carved upon my soul and my memory, burning on my heart... Also, from then, I looking for Korean movies, I am waching Kundo, and again Gang Dong won doing something splendidly to me ... I don t know what, but is something about his eyes... Of all his dramas and films filmography I first watched his drama 1% of Something but I saw in him the awkwardness in acting but he was so handsome and so hot.I found out when researching about him that he was just 22 or 23 then and just started his acting career. Not immediately became a fan but after I watched the Priests omg he improved so much better. He has been one of one my favorites since then and has watched all his movies (those I can find online). I hope this 2021 he'll be offered a good drama scripts with Hye Kyo or Ye Jin or Ryeowon or Hyojin or Gianna or Yumi or Hyojoo. All those veteran actresses will fit him well.

At that time I didn't see him much as he played a scary villain role. So I was scared of the character actually. Then I watched vanishing time: a boy who returned. I loved him in that movie. Then I accidentally watched temptation of wolves and I started to really love him. Then I start to marathon most of his movie. Currently, I've only watched secret union, woochi, violent prosecutor and my brilliant life. I'm thinking of watching more of his movie. Kang Dongwon, you are so handsome! I already watched 90 percent of his movies and my all time favs are Vanishing Time and Brilliant Life with Song Hye Kyo. If you're wondering why he didnt do dramas, well the answer is clear--- no station can probably afford to pay him per episode without huge sponsors! And his box-office movies profit is more than enough for him since he sometimes just donated the income -- being a chaebol (you can just google abt his family). But the most probable answer is maybe he just wanted to avoid unnecessary public attention due to his family "past relation with Japan" so he decided not to do small screen stuff.

There is something so...gravitating about the dark characters that is able to portray. I can't wait to watch more of his films and witness what other roles he chooses to take on.
