Paul O'Brien Feb 11 2023 10:04 am I have been watching "Graceful Friends" on Netflix. I found the character Hae-Sook tough and apparently calculating, but my whole view has shifted dramatically in recent episodes. She has reconciled with Nam Jung-hae, and last night I viewed her visit to the hospital to visit the injured son. Her reconciliation with Nam Jung-hae was very moving. The scenes with her farewell and especially her last scene with Ann Going-chul was heart-wrenching and powerful. Her stunning red dress was the perfect call, and when she left, I had tears in my eyes. Beautiful job. I wish i could chat with her.

ellie Feb 10 2020 12:18 pm She plays such strong characters who have a weakness... Very radiant in Touch, but I can see how her character's husband would hate her. Definitely, the b*tch from hell in RETURN, but that's understanding, too. I feel certain she has had to go through a lot in many dramas and it must be hard to keep in there with those dramas, but she can.

She's beautiful and confident and she becomes the characters they give her.

tybolt Apr 10 2016 12:36 pm @Elaine although 'Revenge of the Gumiho' may not be your cup of tea (not my favorite either) the acting in this series, from the principal players, was first rate. Particularly in the cases of "lead actress" Han Eun Jung and supporting actress Kim Jung-Nan, who is always great in any role that she plays. I put quotation marks around Miss Han's credential in the series because the real lead actresses were to two incredibly gifted child actresses, Kim Yoo Jung and Seo Shin Ae, who have never failed the steal every scene that they have been in one since each began her career as kindergarten aged kids. Seo Shin Ae, in particular, has seemingly always had the ability to tackle any character, or emotion needed, so it's easy to see why she was given the meatier role of the two. Those kids will keep you watching!

Agreed, though, it's not for the faint of heart, and contains little that will make your heart feel lifted after viewing any single episode...

Revenge of a Gumiho, I just can't seem to watch it since it's not really my forte. Scent of a Man, I can't find a good site to watch it lmao, but it looked like another drama that would make me cry my eyes out again XD

Elaine Mar 27 2016 6:33 pm LOL @ people who just can't seem to separate reality from dramas. Han Eun Jung is completely different from how her character in dramas portray her. If you watch her Happy Together and Law of the Jungle episodes, you'll find out. She's also very kind.

She did a very good job at "Seoul 1945", "To My Love" and "Dream of 400 Years" which were the only dramas that she's the leading lady. She's definitely one of my favorite korean actress. The first two was really depressing though. Damn, why can't I see her be happy in dramas. lmao

Collibosher Jan 02 2015 3:49 pm 'Full House' was more of a rom/com where the acting is limited by the roles and their narrow definitions. But, in no drama featuring Han Eun Jung have I found her acting, or her visual appeal, to be anywhere near "average." For me, she has both heart-pounding looks and a tremendous ability to emote. The really pretty girls/women seem to get cast in the "femme fatale" and antagonist roles so people tend to hate them, just for doing their jobs. Han Eun Jung is a very attractive woman with hypnotic, kryptonite-like powers over men. Your boyfriend is smitten with her, so naturally you hate her. This is the fate of all pretty girls. This, and the power to make doors fly open, and chairs available to them wherever they go. Wherever Han Eun Jung goes, trust me, these two things are happening in spades....

Iron Man Nov 21 2014 12:31 am I've been watching her performance in Iron Man/Blade Man. She's amazing. I remember her being average in Full House, and I haven't seen any of her other works, so this was quite a pleasant shock. Watch Iron Man ep 14-15 (especially 15) if you don't believe me! Great acting, seriously. She looks very different than in Full House though, and older. I almost didn't recognize her. Nonetheless, I'm officially impressed and will be watching some of her other works where she's a main lead.
