Seo Cho-Hee (Han Da-Gam) works as an AE (account executive) for an advertising company. She has worked there for 12 years. She wants to buy an apartment in the Gangnam area of Seoul and she struggles to achieve that goal. Through her struggles, she realizes that real happiness derives from her family and not an apartment.

lrt Apr 19 2022 9:57 am I hoped for big things for Suel-a but she ended up in the dust bin in favor of Sun-hae. Whhhhaaat happened to the inheritance? Just a whisper ???? after many many too many episodes of fighting over it!! All the good got downplayed and except for "Brad-T", I would have hated this.

Mike Apr 16 2022 9:58 am I was satisfied with happy endings for Chohee, Kangrim and Seonhae, Bori and Jaemin was very sweet ending, liked wonderful Sarang and Rian, the others were fine as well. But they should not have written-off Seula, mistake (unless the actress had taken herself off). Too much time was lost in the last too many episodes on Seokgu and Wongju, both not funny or cute but rather extremely annoying, irritating, and repulsive, those wasted hours could've been spent on Seula's story. Overall, could've been better if left out Seokgu and Wongju, they brought down my enthusiasm for the drama but otherwise the rest of this drama was good.

Helen Roxas Apr 06 2022 2:26 pm Super love this K drama! I love all the characters and find all of them very good actors, particularly Seok-Gu, No Won- joo and the very cute Bang Sa-Rang. I even subscribed to Viu app just so I can watch it right away and don't have to wait to release the updated episodes. I am very much impress with how the story goes. Very exciting to watch and always looking forward for the continuation after each episodes. I hope you can extend it further up to at least 150 episodes. I enjoy so much this, and I want to watch the actors longer. Especially Bang Sa-Rang. She resembles my granddaughter but only 2 years younger, she is just 7. I love this child bec she is always happy and smiling. She has such a bright and cheeful disposition. I even followed them in their IG's. Excited to know who the heir of Mr. Bang will be. Congrats to the casts and crew and keep going! You are indeed no.1! Godbless!

It seems that the writer or even writers are either very green or confused. there are a bunch of obnoxious people together in this drama ( expect the chairman, the older ladies and SA ). the story had some flavor while the Lawyer professor was interested in a student whom look was closed to the lost girlfriend. He was looking for her, calling her ,paying her debts and hire her first as a part time help and then as an intern. remember, those beautiful exchange of looks and smiles. Then this, Law professor , middle age, so desperate of getting a man comes to the scene as a child hood playmate, neighbor and friend. confess her feeling to him and does not even cover her jealousy of the student how ridicules! he does not have any romantic feeling for her and say it to everybody. remember the broiler problem, instead of going to a hotel, the law professor! comes to friend's parent house and stayed there for a few days. he ignores her. she puts precure from all sides to get an answer. Can a law professor do that in the real word! he told her bluntly that he does not love her and he sees her as a sister. and- the story switched so ridiculously. he feels love in his heart! dating start and ends up to a fast forward marriage. now, she is pregnant. she is a selfless loving wife with that stupid hair do. trying to buy the love of family. so cheap! what happened to Bora's pregnancy. she had the sign of pregnancy which went out over night and the professor's pregnancy showed instead!! . come on writer. you can do better than this. I am not Korean but, I feel sorry for Koran women when it comes to love, marriage and life. no personality, no pride and no self-esteem. This is what all these dramas picture of the Korean women. forgive me if I am wrong.

I'm happy Seonhae ended up with Kangrim but I liked Seula, a sweet hard working girl who deserves a happy ending with her son and Dongha. It seems there was too much time spent on annoying characters Seokgu (agree with @Jude)and Wonju where you could've spent it on Seula's story. I hope they correct it with 3 episodes left.

Sara Mar 31 2022 9:56 pm I love Chairman Bang and Ms. Na's characters. They are the cutest couple in this drama. Chairman Bang seems so sweet to Ms. Na. I love the way they've start their relationship. From hate at first sight to love that will last forever. They fought for their love to have each other for the rest of their lives. Even in the sunset of their lives, they found someone who really love and care for. But why I feel something happen to Chairman Bang. Hopefully it was not and will end the drama that both of them are happy. It will be sad for Ms. Na and I will be sad for her.

Looking forward to having this drama finished to replaced with a much better scripted drama for primetime viewing.

bella Mar 12 2022 7:08 pm this drama is too long for the content that it has. the story are dragged and the whole thing just feels like a drag to watch and the couples are not that fun to watch majority of the time, you just think they cute but not in a nice way just like okey. SA's character had soo much potential as a young single mum, student and the way society would view her in general but what happened she is just there. KR and SH relationship is just boring and not the good kind but the type that just meh. the sister that suppose to fix everything annoys me like i know it her character but it like hon just let go a little bit you don't need to solve everyone's problem. SA's mum is very problematic but she bring all the drama in this drama without her all the problem would feel basic and no excitement at all. she is a bad person but is entertaining to watch.

I wish the FL had more of a backbone, another example of stereotyping Asian women to be subservient and allow people to take advantage of and walk all over them with no regard for themselves. She allows all these misunderstandings and won't speak up for herself (typical FL drama flaw). I wish they would do more with her career as that kind of got put on hold in the storyline. The relationships are very disappointing in this show, I couldn't agree more! As you mentioned Ganglim and Seonhae, just when I thought it couldn't get more forced and awkward indeed it did. It was painful to watch like a bad blind date. I personally would not want one of my friends dating my younger brother. After waiting a few episodes nothing has developed. It seems like this show was made to fill a time slot void and wasn't expected to increase ratings.

I ‘m Han Da Gam Fan club Han Da Dum as Seo Cho hee I want to see the story about Chohee she is working woman, she is a good boss ,She is a good mom but Why story about her very a few? I think story about relationship Mr.Bang and Mrs.No more than is necessary It was not as fun as I thought. It was a little boring. Ganglim and Seonhae relationship I find it rather boring. I'm a little disappointed, you know? I hope that next episode have story about Chohee and SeulA. Seula I think She has a secret something ? I think Ganglim and SeulA have love chemistry very match . I like her and Chohee. I hope that next episode maybe It's better.

Angie Jan 27 2022 7:58 am Just my opinion - maybe if Sun Hae is being played by Jung So-Young (Shim Ji-Ho's partner in Love to the End), they would make a good chemistry in this drama.

Kai Jan 27 2022 1:29 am The majority of characters are not likeable and the very few that are lack depth. It's a show that you force yourself to watch just to see how much worse it will become. Most dramas are predictable and this a great example of that predictability. None of the couplings have good chemistry. The mother and daughter in law relationship is what you'd expect. With my disdain for the FL overall character, watching her misery from that relationship is entertaining. I hoped she would've left her husband and his horrendous family during the first few episodes as her boss Jae-min was a much better fit for her character. This perpetuates the stereotype that a daughter in law should be obedient and serve her husband and his family without complaint. Her brother Gang-rim, is in a confused forced relationship with Sun-hae when he has more concern for and better chemistry with Seul-a. The younger sister Bo-ri is one of those characters that has a purpose but she's obnoxious and like any younger sibling, you want to slap her in every episode. I die a little more every time I watch another episode but sometimes you just have to see it through. I don't have any expectation of this drama deviating from the typical pattern. It would be nice though.

He only has 1 scene in every episode (sometimes none) and if it is not a 1 or 2-sentence dialogue, it is just showing flashbacks. If this drama is a 100-episode, they are almost on the 75th episode so how will his character progress? Will they rush it in all in the final episode?

Robot Jan 14 2022 8:13 am Ahn Suk Hwan's supporting role becomes main as he performs very perfect creating more emotion, acting, and all senses of most scenes. Shim ji ho seems nothing to perform his main role at all. It is almost supporting instead. This movie is likely to follow everyday. Funny and phenomenal.

MJ Jan 14 2022 1:29 am For the most part, a lot of the main characters are either annoying or lacking in substance. Cho-Hee is interesting enough. Her husband NamGu although a nice guy, seems untalented and boring. Her sister BoRi is immature, whimsical, shallow, and bratty. She does not deserve that nice young executive JaeMin. He is a waste on her. The characters of mother-in-law and brother-in-law of ChoHee are like parasites in her family, lacking talent to support themselves. She cannot even cook and fools the Chairman with pretending to cook herself when it's easy enough to say she bought it. The only interesting sub-plot here is how the triangle among Atty. KangRim, SunHae, and Seul-A evolves. SunHae is a nice decent lady but should not be forcing herself into KangRim's affection by sucking up to his family. Seul-A is in a pathetic situation which makes her an interesting character beside the staid character of Atty. KangRim. I hope Seul-A is given a chance to bloom as a woman.

The interesting twists of the plot evolve too slowly, with the script having too many inconsequential scenes and dialogue.

Jil Dec 23 2021 1:12 pm I love everything here except for Seul A and Gang Rim love story they are ploting. Seul A story is so depressing and not good to see at all, how can she be that helpless? And yeah, Ga Ram as well, shes a pain in the ass, like seriously how can she be an office worker like that?

I will like it better if it will be Gang Rim and Sun Hae. Nevermind Seul A, dont like her at all. Ga ram, hopefully will have at least improvement in attitude, im just so annoyed will all the problem she is creating.

Probably my favorite character here is the Cho Hee and her original family, mother, aunt, brother and younger sister, they are just lovely. Nam Gu character is growing as well, thats good to see.

But i really hate the life of Seul A. And that annoying character of Ga Ram. So depressing. Always on the problematic side. Hopeless.

For the rest of the character, i like it, even the annoying Won Jo, at least she can deliver her character well. Hope they have a good ending for everyone though.

Angie Dec 23 2021 7:07 am I don't think the writers would have Seo Gang-Rim & Han Seul-A to be together in the end because KBS already has a drama series which is also currently showing - Young lady and Gentleman wherein the older guy fell in love with a much younger lady. So they will have Seo Gang-Rim and Choi Sun-Hae in the end. But for me I want Gang-Rim to end up with Seul-A.

Mike Dec 21 2021 12:16 pm I hope sweet, hard working Han Seula ends up with sweet boy Kim Dongha, Professor Seo ends up with gentle, kind hearted and I think very pretty Sunhae, and I believe man of integrity Yang Jaemin deserves someone like Sunhae, not Bori (even though she means well), but I hope writers don't put Professor Seo with Seula. I like Chohee and I like that she and Namgu are faithful to each other but I think writers were mistaken to make Namgu a university Professor, he would not have financial problems or be stupid as a university Professor.

Areukidding Dec 07 2021 11:23 pm I’ve been watching KBS dramas since 2008, this is the worst. So boring I can’t watch it anymore. All I can say is thanks for the break of not airing new episodes. Never seen so many idiotic family members in one drama before. Too many stupid people. Writer's fault, horrible drama. I’m done with it. Really hope it finishes faster than expected so they air something better. Time to catch up on Netflix for the time being.

Arnob Dec 01 2021 6:54 am @AJ: I didnt mean to compare Indian soap-operas to Korean ones. I am not even an Indian. Neither am I an expert on Korean dramas. This is my first experience of watching a Korean drama & I liked it a lot solely based on the cute characters & its comedic plot. I stated that disappointment towards certain programs depend on a person’s taste. For example, I dont really fancy watching “Red Shoes” because to me it is too melancholy & conspiracy based. Again, I might be wrong about it but that is just how I feel. I have seen positive comments about “The All-Round Wife” on their KBS World Youtube channel so wasnt expecting negative reviews here. To each their own & that is perfectly fine!

People compare this drama with its predecessors which were broadcast at the same time-slot, such as "Brilliant Heritage" and "Be My Dream Family". And it's fair to say that this drama has been such a letdown, compared to those that preceded it.

Kris Nov 20 2021 9:28 pm If I’m reborn in South Korean please let it not be Gangnam or even Seoul and definitely not in a rich family. South Korea may be small but 2+2 is four even in public school with no cram school and there are more neighborhoods than Gangnam. Aren’t there any normal people in the country? I have watched K dramas for over 15 years. It’s never been this over the top. Is this a want to be Penthouse that started out over the top but strong until it failed miserably?

a rich heir that cannot even control the posting in his company's website and has to ask sohee's permission before acting on it(the administrator should had alerted the owners take down and traced the posting before it gain wide circulation); boot licking team b(i am surprised not being disciplined for goofing) and a lot of other absurdities. Be My Dream Family with its eccentric characters is far better crafted than this one. The writer and director should do some brainstorming to improve the show. The good slot of the drama will be wasted if it will not level up.

nav Oct 29 2021 12:25 am we all are watching this drama, so we know she is not having affair but working with colleagues. but think from her husband point of view (she said she is busy with workshop and her husband seen her in other mens car without other colleagues in car. even then he didn't believed until he seen the photo). even her own mother didn't believed her after seeing photo, what are you expecting from her mother in law. everyone is scolding her husband for not trusting her (i want to remind them the series 'my mister' about trusting husband). he is not only her husband but also a son.what do you think he should be like " im married now so i wont listen to my mother". I think every character is right in there positions

Joey Oct 20 2021 6:43 pm Good lord, the female lead's husband and mother in law are awful. How does someone as pretty as her end up with a guy that looks and act's like that? I really hope she takes her daughter and divorces him, but this is a daily KBS drama. We can already be certain by the end of the series her relationship with her husband and mother in law is going to be lovey-dovey and perfect, the same way all of these dramas featuring terrible people who belong on the streets end. I don't even get why they introduced a male rival at her job if she's never going to get with him. Hell, she already has way more chemistry with him than her own man-child, butt-faced husband.

I watch these things because it's something to watch, but in the 2 years I've watched daily KBS dramas, this has to be the worst. The first episode was a rapid fire info dump of nonsense. It served to only make viewers hate damn near every character. I would rather watch those horny college girls fail to hit on their teacher than see more of the husband and mother in law. You know where this show shines? The male lead, and pretty much everything involving him. And I'm sure even that will go to hell, because they seem determined to pair him up with a college age student. What's with KBS drama's this season, and their desire to pair late 30-mid 40s men with women that could almost be their daughters? And even worse this season, it's men who hold a great deal of power over their love interest.

Those housing schemes are for people who never owned a home before. Meant to house the elderly and encourage married couples to have a child. Going by the news the entire real estate market and most efforts to stabilize are centered around Gangnam. It’s like wanting people in the US marry and have a child or 2 when half the country wants to live in Manhattan. The real problem is parents are working overtime often for company gatherings after work. Kids are in hagwon all hours of the night. Why have kids when you childhood was horrible and you never had time to see your parents. Who are parents? Not long ago the DIL did everything. Who wants to do everything?

Even "No Matter What", which in my opinion degenerated as it entered its last 30-50 percents of airplay, started off well. What a letdown this new daily drama is, after the enjoyable "Be My Dream Family".

Kris Oct 14 2021 1:41 pm Watched and hated episode 1. Watched part of 6 or 7? The Korean War had a cease fire in the mid 1950’s. There is no more dictatorship? I love Korean dramas and have watched them for 15 years. But it is getting old this my life is tough routine among college graduate characters. All this MIL making DIL a slave theme isn’t going to help the birth rate and I highly doubt it’s still that prevalent. Clearly the people who run the world want less population in Korea. Their adult kids either didn’t get married are they are passed away cause two generations delayed and limited children. It could happen anywhere someone selling their house and investing all the money hoping to get a greater return than the market? How could someone who had managed to buy an apartment lose it all so easily? Who the heck cares where in South Korea a person lives. There are many neighborhoods in cities with hundreds of thousands to millions of people outside of Gangnam, Seoul. We see countless families in these dramas with huge apartments or homes that are 2/3rd empty. The last drama did charity for seniors living in a single room maybe 20m2 studio apartments in 40 year old buildings and all throughout the beginning the main couple complaining about their 3 bedroom low rise apartment complaining dad didn’t give them an apartment. The families these drama’s center around all had school through high school most times college, all have more than one pair of shoes in good repair, all can access medical help and clean water and have their kitchens stocked with rice, fruit and meat. What made up hardship do people have in their heads? Is a kid in elementary school in classes until 10 or maybe longer eating a piece of bread for dinner not for lack of food really what college educated parents think right? I think the writers are goofy or people spent too much time studying and not enough time living.

AJ Oct 13 2021 11:11 pm I cannot stand Seo Cho-Hee's husband. All he can say is "I'm hungry" (man, you're an adult, please prepare your own food), "Population decline will result in decreasing house prices" (you're a professor, right? Surely you understand that decline in population will only be significantly felt in decades, if not centuries). Not to mention that he doesn't exactly stand up for Cho-Hee in front of his mother (i.e. Cho-Hee's mother-in-law). And his facial expressions... gosh. Oh, and wasn't he who primarily caused the family to lose their Gangnam apartment? (although to be fair, Cho-Hee did consent to his husband's initiative on that matter)
