Plot

Yangsoon is a tough, brave, cool and bright young girl. Because her parents are always running into trouble, she moves to Seoul to work as a housemaid in order to take care of herself. Kitae is a brash, stubborn cosmetics company CEO who is also Yangsoon’s employer. He makes scenes out of small mistakes and tries to scold Yangsoon but instead gets a lesson from her. As they get to know each other through frequent quarrels, Kitae slowly notices Yangsoon’s attractiveness. However, Kitae is hotly pursued by Nahee, who is in turn liked by Juntae. As they play their game of love, Kitae discovers the secret behind his parents’ death…

Vera Jun 17 2023 5:58 pm As much as I enjoyed watching some of these lovely little actors especially Jang Hyuk, I guess that's really the only reason I was watching it to start with I was very disappointed in the inconsistency of the theme, the silly little things that didn't even make sense that they just threw in for whatever, coming up to the last episode literally fading into Oblivion with the whole process was very disappointing I did get to here Jang's song which I had never heard before and loved, quite a catchy tune and he has a fabulous voice. other than that I find that with a lot of Korean series they tend to fade off when it comes to the final episodes trying to stick everything into one hour when it should have been done over three episodes. Well enough of that I initially gave it 90% and then felt on my part 65 was Worthy.

Irene Poole May 09 2021 12:53 am Watched this fantastic series which had me riveted to the screen. I watched 10 episodes on Day 1 and 6 on Day 2. Jang Hyuk was exceptional as always and played his character so honestly my heart was bleeding for him. The rest of the cast were impressive too which made it a great series to watch. Congratulations to you all. Please keep these wonderful kdramas rolling in. I am a lifelong fan ???

ann Nov 20 2014 7:12 am I watched Successful story's bright girl over 10 years ago then FTLY, what a great couple of Jang and now Old Goodbye- ep 1; they are still suitable and great into each other. Fighting JangHyukNara. She also looks so cute in Mr Baek, her stylist is also great by hairdo, makeup and dress up , all input on Jang Nara give her a perfected looking in her role. Thanks to SBS, MBC,.. for creating the good drama , look forward to see them back. Gook luck, everyone.
