Moon-Bok (Yu Oh-Seong) is barely able to making a living by gambling. 14 years ago, Moon-Bok was famous as a legendary messenger known as "Horse Ghost". During the second Manchu Invasion of Korea, Moon-Bok failed to deliver the King's message. Because of this, he now spends his days meaninglessly. After losing more money from gambling, Moon-Bok is threatened by Kang-Gae (Lee Dae-Yeon) and he is about lose his daughter Choon-Kil (An Ji-Hyun). At this time, Seo-Yeon (Lee Chae-Young), who wants to exact revenge, makes a proposal to Moon-Bok. Seo-Yeon is the daughter of a General that Moon-Bok looks up to. Now, with his life at stake, Moon-Bok rides a horse again.
