I was literally frightened whenever the mad king came on screen, but could warmed quickly when the scene switched over to Ha-Sun. he played both roles so well. The scene with the king in the cave, I cried and cried. Just wow. Grateful that he has such a strong and diverse portfolio that I can now binge until he creates new projects.

Erika Aug 28 2023 7:51 pm Just an all around impressive actor and I've only seen 2 of his dramas (HDL and Link). He's got a great, commanding and easily recognizable voice too. (I picked up on it immediately on the first ep of Start Up after finishing HDL)

I'm seeing he was a child actor and I know it can be a difficult transition. I'm glad I watched him as a adult first so I won't be creeped out by his attractiveness when I see his younger roles ?

The only sad thing is military service is coming up so we may have to wait a few years for new works but I'm sure he will be back and even more man than we can handle! ~swoons~

He can literally make u feel all the emotions through his acting skills.... If I have to pic favourite it's difficult from crowned clown to beyond evil and hotel del Luna to organe marmalade.... His latest work,Link,the rating is low that I have no doubt in his role that he can be into character perfectly. It’s about storyline and plot may not fit to viewers’ interest. Mint Jul 25 2022 11:05 pm YeoJinGoo, his phenomenal works are Hwayi, The Moon Embracing The Sun and Crowned clown that not only his superb acting skill but the plot,editing, script,storyline,acting partner, casts and soundtrack are all well done. No wonder why rating and recognition were so high. When he got adult role, his characters were more about keeping cool guy; not outgoing, keeping emotion inside, less cheerful and gentle. In my opinion, he should sometimes get out of this pattern of character and choose the role which is more liberate and shows more his charisma. I’m quite sure his works will get more recognition and rating. He’s one of top list of talent actors I’ve ever seen, I really like his acting and his personality. I’m rooting him and hope he getting more successful.

Whatever he takes on, his performance is powerful and strong, he totally takes you away in his role. I am flabbergasted by his acting skills. After seeing Hotel del Luna and the Crowned Clown i am confident he will have great successes ahead of him. In the Crowned Clown - wowww - really TOP performance, great acting, chemistry on screen and emotional with tears at the right moment. I am really in love with him. Not only amazingly good looks, charismatic, a gorgeous smile…man, what an actor ❤️. Lots of love and wish him a powerful successful career, he really deserves recognition for his talent. PS i am disappointed to read that he did not get an award for his superb acting in the Crowned Clown??? How is it even possible to have not awarded him for putting down such a performance?

Then I was obsessed with his handsome face and deep tone voice that I cannot help but continued to watch Beyond Evil, My Absolute Boyfriend, Reunited Worlds. I fell in love totally with his adorable and humble character and cannot help it. I am now watching his Circle 2 worlds connected. I hope to join his fan club in Singapore but don't know how to. Anyone knows?

I will watch Crowned Clown after Circle 2 worlds connected. His next drama will only be out next year, cannot wait ;)...I will surely miss him and his superb acting.

Love his perfect lips which he used to the max in Reunited Worlds with his ear to ear smiles. His potrayal of the character fits the series. He has the potential for some serious acting. Gotta work on it....

LOOOOL despite i love Hotel del Luna so much, i don't even recognize his voice and don't even recognize HIM in episode 16 LOL!!! his make-up in eps 16 is sooooooooo different, i didn't notice =)) and maybe also because it's been long time after HDL, that's my only drama that i watch that have him played in it.

THAT'S WHY Hanjipyong is sooooo amazed when see him talk LOL =)) i though Hanjipyong always smiling when talk to him is because he is CEO of the"orphanage" start-up!! but turn out, he feels amazed by YoungSil voice in this guy, as youngsil is his only friends for yeaaaarrrssss

OMG such a nice hidden twist here!!! but maybe it's a trick by Park Dong-Chun as YungSil developer? because Park Dong-Chun should be the one that take his "voice sample" for youngsil.

ssunk Jul 10 2019 3:20 pm i love love love his acting skills but i haven't been able to enjoy any of his dramas to the fullest - somehow he picks/has been picked to cast in dramas that are somehow... ugh. i don't know the word or how to explain it. all of them have given me a bit of a weird feeling and i haven't finished most of them. something about every plot makes me uncomfortable or unsatisfied and it's not even the same thing in each drama... i'm sad, i wish i could see him in a drama that would work for me too. i'm currently watching absolute boyfriend (now on ep 13) and hope i can finish it happily. if not, maybe i'm not destined to watch his performance, haha. it's a pity, there aren't that many actors who are so good with showing every little detail of emotion on their faces. but i wish him the best, no matter what.

Nat May 27 2019 8:09 am yeo jingoo is no doubt a good actor and he is only just starting to ripe. his acting in 'the crowned clown' really made me realise how good of an actor he is, especially for someone his age. some older actor/actress cant deliver their lines without making it sound cringy but he does it so well i cant help but drown myself in his drama. in 'the crowned clown' he played two completely contradicting characters but still managed to deliver his lines, expressions and emotions. you can even tell the difference when he smiles as a psychotic king or a naive clown. now he plays a somewhat horny robot in 'absolute boyfriend' and he's doing an INCREDIBLE job. YJG's acting really knows no bounds and i cant wait to see what he'll become in the future

He is mature beyond his age and truly able to delve deep into his role in 'The Crowned Clown'.Acting dual roles with polar opposite personality is any self-respecting actor's dream role but not many can assume such roles convincingly. YJG is able to take on these dual roles so well.I have a strong feeling he will win the 'best actor' in the coming film fest or such. This new drama is putting me on the edge of my chair. Two other sageuks connect to this one. Dong Yi (She is King Yeongjo's mother.) It partly overlaps the events of The Royal Gambler, but it's King Yeongjo, (or rather the prince that becomes King Yeongjo is a bit younger -- age 10 or 11.) Watching it helps fill in political background and gives added depth.

And then Lee San: Wind of the Palace (aka Yisan) features a much older King Yeongjo and his grandson Yisan who will become King Jeongjo.  It's fascinating to watch all three.  I watched The Royal Gambler first, Then Dong Yi, and finally Yisan.

They already worked together as a couple and they had great chemistry and in The Moon Embracing the Sun they showed they can lead a drama, not just be younger versions, I think they even outshined their adult versions. This year both of them already got adult roles, so it´s all set.

And I must say that he's so dang good-looking, and his voice is so deep and husky its starting to make me shiver sometimes. (You guys should watch Running Man ep.182) I fell in love w him as Prince Yeoning in The Royal Gambler, seriously that is the best historical drama for me.

I cried a lot because of the passion he puts out on his acting that really suited a young boy who truly fell for a girl, but lost her. Amazing actor. But after watching this epic drama called I Miss You - it inspired me a lot, and the characters made me cry a lot. And Jin Goo is my favourite character of all time. I've known since he started playing in Giant as Gang Moo. Way to go buddy. :)

Previously, I was not interested in watching this drama even though many of my friends have a very positive remark on it. But then after more and more friends had recommended me watching this, I found they were right. I was completely enthralled by the story from the very beginning and just couldn't wait to continue watching each episodes. I like Kim You Jung too! She's just so adorable! ^^ Wish that there will be another nice Korean drama this year!

I love him paired up with Kim So-Hyun, their chemistry was incredible, never I watched child couple have such amazing chemistry and acted perfectly! aisha! kristen! omg someone actually realised him in Deep Rooted Tree! i though i was wrong since he's not in the cast list but it was actuallly him! i knew it, he outshines other actors even for a small role, he did pretty well. He did won an award before.
