Mara Jun 12 2024 9:45 am I have watched Shim So-Young in a number of K dramas, and I can say she is versatile when it comes to playing various roles. I'm currently watching Crash, and here she has played four different characters very well! I also enjoyed watching her in Taxi Driver and Behind Every Star. Great actress!

soom Nov 19 2022 8:01 pm Loved her in Taxi Driver as Madam Lim--she was great and won a scene stealer award! Can't wait to watch Behind Every Star. She walked across the office set in the first epi and was instantly recognizable. Her talent was deep and nuanced. t must've been fun to LJH to play opposite her. The way he kept shooting bits of crab shell her way, and you could see she was laughing so hard. I love actors who aren't afraid to be goof-balls sometimes. Yay! 'BES' looks good so far....

Country bumpkin May 19 2021 6:43 pm Her scenes with the lead actor in taxi driver were at the olympian level. The two nailed all the scenes. The director and the writers are the ones that created them so, my utmost respect to the director and writers. Their accent, their non-verbal communication, the laughter, the location, cold wintry coastal korean harbor town, their outfits, that unbelieveably surreal background music, their conversation about a place in Harbin...I went gaga enjoying all these two thespians, scenes. In the end of madam Lim story, it dawned upon me that the Korean film industry has established its hard core solid foundation or infrastructure, wherein world beating artistic outcomes are churning out insatiably, and i wish em the best.
