Jilli Dec 05 2022 10:33 am First saw him in The Vineyard Man years ago and loved his performance as a type of "everyman" who ends up winning the girl over several major obstacles. Years later he had big hits playing villains in Crash Landing On You and Youth of May, and even though I recognize his performances were excellent, I kept reflecting back to The Vineyard Man rather nostalgically and wished his characters in CLOY and YOM hadn't been QUITE so evil! It was such an adjustment for me emotionally. I guess when an actor imprints himself on you for the first time playing a good man it's rather jolting to try and accept him as playing evil types later.

Umi Dec 08 2020 10:27 am Seriously I can't describe how much I love him as Cho Cheol Gang in CLOY! He's the only villain in kdrama history that managed to give me unsettling vibe. And as someone who have experience in theater(can't say that I'm an actress myself lol), I was astounded by his theater performances. I really hope that I live in Korea so that I can go and watch all of the plays.
