Baek Beom (Jung Jae-Young) has worked as a forensic doctor for 10 years. He has a bad personality, but he is excellent with his work. Baek Beom does not open his mind to other people. Eun Sol (Jung Yu-Mi) is a rookie prosecutor with a warm heart. She has a bright personality and she comes from wealth family background. The forensic doctor and prosecutor work together to solve case.

jisunslovebomb Apr 11 2023 9:57 am This is undeniably the best K-Drama to exist. The combination of Legal-, medical drama, and thriller was so well done. The cast was amazing and the story line is not exaggerated but still great. Season 2 followed with, like in season 1, with seperate stories every 2 episodes but with an ongoing new storyline throughout the whole season. I believe that this show is in need of a 3rd season after the major cliffhanger they did to us.

FL was annoying for the first few episodes but she got better and better in the latter. every cases had their own plot twists and they were unpredictable. like what, i was guessing and always didnt expect the outcome. loved the ML, he portrayed his character perfectly.

jasmine Sep 12 2022 6:41 pm even after i read negative comments here, i still went ahead and watch this drama. tbh, i was hooked! though FL could be annoying for the first few episodes but later on she got better and better! even kang hyun too at the latter episodes. detective cha is funny and both stella and his loveline is cute! so, ignore the bad comments. if you love watching forensic/plot twist/solving cases, you would love it.

HoHo Sep 04 2022 2:07 am I watched this drama long time ago but suddenly want to check it out on Asianwiki (I miss this drama and I've been expecting for the third season). I read the comments saying that the FL is annoying, some dropped this drama. Yes, they're right that the FL has this attitude in the beginning of the series, but isn't it okay for a character to has such imperfect traits? I was expecting that they will make second season, turns out that they did! And the FL had a character development (the ML was annoying too, he was too harsh to his subordinates at first, and he also had a character development. If a drama with this kind of genre and good storyline have annoying main leads, we could expect that they will have worth waiting character developments). Watch until the second season... This drama (and the second season) is worth watching imo.

Anne Aug 20 2022 11:29 pm The plot is not the best but still interesting to me. It keeps me guessing and I'm learning something new. However, this drama has one major flaw, i.e. the character of the FL(NOT the actress). She was the top of her class, a prosecutor, but she is dumb in most scenes, if not all. Yes, dumb. She doesn't know the basic protocols in investigating a murder scene and even basic health protocols? Really? Where did she study and how did she become a prosecutor without knowing the fundamentals? And she has the guts to blame and get mad at the ML? hahaha! Too emotional, very seldom rational. Having such a very weak prosecutor character, to me, is more insulting than the corruption portrayed in K-dramas. BTW, this is my first and hopefully last time commenting. I just can't stand the FL. haha. But I'll still try my very best to finish the series since I like the suspense. And except for the FL, it's quite good.

And also the Female Lead somewhat irritates me, she act like she sisn't learn how to properly handle those cases. I know that gut feeli or intuition is also important but she is so incompetent. She does things that is not appropriate for a prosecutor. Yes, she's digging the cases but continue blaming her primary suspect without physical evidences. I hope that there is a character devepment for her part. I'm not yet done wathching this series so let's see if will satisfy me.

She supposed to be top if her class but she act airhead most of the time that she do not know what to do. Forensic doctor not even wearing mask during autopsy. Most especially on episode 6 for merscov. Laughable

I never regret it, the show was fun. I was fascinated with forensic and crime dramas and this show didn't failed me. I just hope there's season 3

I can't stand with Eun Sol character as rookie prosecutor, she is just immature and only believe in her feeling not the actual fact. If the results found by NFS didn't satisfy her, she became angry like a child. I don't understand why she works as if she's under NFS as her boss said.

She just like an intern, not rookie prosecutor.

Jane Aug 17 2021 5:46 am Oh my god... the acting was soooo bad, what even is this? Especially Park Eun-Seok's acting.. it feels like he needed to shout to get his emotion across, and he was just so bad.

It was hard to believe most of the time that that's actually how prosecutors work first of all, and secondly the characters were boring or cringe. The random use of English words while Stella was talking was annoying AF and really unnecessary.

Honestly, a waste of time. I don't recommend it and I probably won't be watching season 2 either.

Mimsica Jun 18 2021 2:27 am I wrote an earlier review which I described the drama as so-so. That was Season 1. Season 2 was much better. No shouting and over the top theatrics. The plot was gripping and tense. No more soap-opera storyline like in Season 1. Overall quality was tremendously improved.

Eun Sol has matured over the year. I guess it was necessary to portray her as naive and emotional in Season 1 for the sake of character progression. Baek Beom is still ... Baek Beom but his grumpiness has toned down somewhat. His interactions with Eun Sol was limited in Season 2 but he seemed more calm and respectful towards her.

I miss Cha Soo-Hoo and Stella, though. Sally was annoying and bossy. Couldn't they find a replacement for Stella who was an original character, and not trying to be her carbon copy?

Looking forward to Season 3. I am really unsatisfied with the ending, as there were lots of loose ends that were left untied.

Overall, Season 2 was great! Hopefully Season 3 will keep the momentum going.

And the shouting .... good lord, there's a lot of shouting and screaming in this drama to the point I felt I need ear plugs, lol. Male lead is great in his role. Female lead is average. And yes, I think Kang Hyun is annoying and too patronizing towards the FL.

Chew Jun 04 2021 2:08 am I am liking this so far, I'm already in episode 5 of season 1. But I really dislike the everyone in the prosecution department. Eun Sol cannot stop dissing Baek Beom in the episodes I have seen so far, so does Kang Hyun. I thought those involved in the law should be as level headed as those in the medical field to carry out their duties. Their characters fail to let people forget that this is just a drama and that they are just acting. Absolutely horribly written characters. I only like Eun Sol when she stands up against her parents' views. If only Baek Beom and Stella Hwang and the rest of those in the NFS are not good characters, I would have given up already in this.

But for park eun sok's character I really have nothing left to say, he's already a senior prosecutor, also advise eunsol not to rely on her feelings, but in other hand he also does the same thing, and try to put baek beom guilty

I understand the emotions going through the character but keeping the same emotion in the courtroom is just a bit far-fetched. Any judge wouldve called that circus out right away. Stopped at episode2 and maybe/maybe not I'll try to watch it again. It could've been interesting if they toned her character down a bit. 70/100

This is just my opinion but I like this show better than tunnel. For me this show is really interesting especially the doctor. I do felt annoying about the prosecutor because i felt like she is hopeless and cant do anything by herself.

Infact, i really like stella, her english pronounciation was on point and it makes the movie much more interesting with her quirky personality. Stella and the detective is a good combination!

Her character had no redeeming qualities. Also, I hate every scene with Stella in it. The forced English is so cringe worthy, it makes me sick. The only person I truly liked all the way through, was the doctor. This could’ve been a solid drama, had they made some of the characters better.

I love this kdrama because we need to think how to prove someone guilty. Well its not perfect. But i love this kdrama. Just my opinion. I dont think season 3 will same as great as 1st and 2nd season.

Jj Feb 22 2021 1:01 pm To be honest, the first episode was just horrible. Eun Sol was so cringey, especially in the courtroom. Even tho Kang Hyun has gotten so much hate, I actually liked him at the beginning. From what I can say, he did a really good job, looked out for Eun sol and always relied on the evidence.

But the writers did him wrong. He was the one that told Eun Sol to not rely on her emotions and to not take a case if a friend/family member is involved.

Yet, he was the one, that went after Baek Beom like crazy just to get revenge.

MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL!

Park Eun Seok is a good actor, especially his role in penthouse but this role was just absolutely horrendous.

adas Feb 20 2021 2:18 pm many prosecutors in my country like eun sol, because of the low crime rate. many have never seen a corpse in their lifetime. I've always felt that prosecutors in American series are like robots while in this drama they are like humans

The most crucial part of a series is how you capture the attention of your audience in the first hour - oh man that sucked so bad, i felt like watching grass grow. How could you watch a prosecutor perform their job like that? Now i love my K-drama, but this was a stupid pathetic waste of time and not even worth been watched to the end of Ep 1 because it was dumb. Oh wait, let me get the accused a whole dinning room table worth of food while he's being questioned, lol...no wait, let me explain to my team that hes guilty becos of my gut feeling, lol... give me a break already... the best thing about this series was giving the rating a thumbs down before i switched it off.

Densha Feb 11 2021 12:21 pm I always a fan of crime related series. And the main character in these series is the worst, I don't get it how Eun Sol can be a presecutor? Lack of judgement, unprofessional, naive, childish, screaming here and there, point out someone just based on gut and feeling (gurl you need solid evidence to say "you are the culpirt" even though you know they are the bad guys). I don't know they are intended to create that such a character or what. But in real life even in a crime movie she'a not qualified to be a presecutor.

All the good things in this series is the forensic team itself and Dr. Baek for sure. The idea of the story also actually is good and intresting. But sometimes I just want to skip the eun sol scene lol.

The storyline was amazing, but the prosecutors seems so reckless. Especially Eunsol, she continues to appoint people as perpetrators even though there is no evidence. I mean, I don't understand how can she become the top student when her investigations are messy.

There were times I would like to shut the sound out because of Sol’s immaturity and Kang’s stupidity. Why give them such weak characters and scripts not befitting prosecutors? Sol’s character gets so hard to watch because of how she acts. It has to get better than this.

I miss Stella. What a great character! Why is she not in the 2nd series? Because of Start up? Also,  why is this series only based on facts,  no office romance except 4 Stella and So Hoo? How come Sol is not getting together with either her first colleague Kang or second colleague Jihan? It would lighten up the story.  Sally having a crush on Dr Baek I can understand as they r very similar but the age gap is a but big,  no?

Dr Jang is a bit of a DrJekyl and Hyde ;-). Can't help but feel very sorry for him being first abused by his nut case of a mum and then as an adult by deputy prosecutor! It's just unacceptable to use and abuse a mentally unstable person! This series is bringing such a situation up which in real life happens .... So wrong!

Reading the comments re Sol. Guys the writer is to blame. Her instinct is right on the button though. Please develop her character a bit more in season 3. She was spot on re Oh Man Cheol. She's got great memory and uses it. I actually do think she's professional but not assertive enough. Writer, pls do sth about it or are Korean women meant to be weak and docile?

Great Forensic Series!! Jan 28 2021 1:17 pm I stumbled on this series when Netflix removed the Forensic Files Series which is based on true crimes in the US. I was hooked since episode 1. I loved it. I think the show is really well research. Sounds aligned with what I learned from watching 3 volumes of the Forensic Files in netflix before it was removed.

I did not know any of the leads but I am a fan now. Good thing I did not listened to the negative reviews for Eun Sol and Prosecutor Kang. Eun Sol might be overly emotional in the first episodes because she has high emotional quotient which i think is also her strength. A warning tho, just counting Dr Beom and you can say there is a lot of shouting in this series.

but the lead actress character is so weak, I felt like it won't make much different if she wasn't in the drama. same goes for Kang hyun, I think his "over acting", making his character weak.

everything revolve around Dr. Baek, he did portray his character excellently though. Please bring back Dr Stella hwang & Cha so hoo, they r so cool on their own way.

I guess the stupid ending of season 2 means there will be season 3. but they have been dragging the plot for the whole season. doesn't make sense!

My god, it's so hard for me to continue watching. It's so painful to see Eun Sol as a prosecutor. She's so damn immature, incompetent, unprofessional and full of herself. She only thinks about her own gut feelings and her definition of humanity; she's easily clouded by her own emotions when she's supposed to make professional judgment as a prosecutor.

Instead of a prosecutor, she looks more like an excited intern who's pumped to right all the wrongs in the world with her her own naive sense of justice and cheeriness. Yes, her emotions and humaniy are important but she should never neglect the importance if evidence when doing investigation. You can't charge someone as a killer just because that your gut feeling tells you so!

And what's with the frequent visit to the NFS and criticising Dr. Baek? He's doing a good job as a forensic doctor. It looks to me as if she wanted him to produce whatever results that she wished for. When the forensic investigation results didn't turn out the way she wanted, she'd be stomping her feet and throw tantrum at Dr. Baek. Is that a normal behaviour for a prosecutor?

I have found this series so hard to watch It has tried really hard to be on par with American crime dramas such as csi but the prosecutor team watching autopsies and running around in a group is doing my head in. It’s almost like an ad campaign for the NFS. It’s a shame because there is some really good acting and story lines jumbled in with the shouting, over acting, bewildered pauses and sighs. I’m at a loss how this got a second season

Lee Jan 22 2021 12:19 am Im on episode 10, i like this series because of the forensics theme. i learned a lot of the characters in the series are so unbearable to watch Huhuhu! Why do they keep on shouting, it really hurts my ears.. especially the Lawyer Kang - i like him on Penthouse but in this series he was sooooo over acting.. the actions of his character is over the top. In the real world i don't think someone would assign a case if you are directly related to the victim... they say don't mix personal feelings to the work but lawyer kang's character is all over the place.. very emotional and his character really sucks.

meanwhile, Eun Sol is lacking - her character is weak, lacks logic and maturity. the only character who seems normal is Dr. Beom. He isn't either overacting or lacking... he portrays his character well.

I enjoy this drama because of the forensics and autopsy but the characters of this drama completely destroy it. i don't know why Eun Sol's character even won best actress. aigooo...

I wanted to skip forward those parts of lawyer kang and eunsol they are so damn boring and cringey.

Like seriously, he preaches on to Sol about remaining objective and separating herself from a case if she has any personal connections yet here he is obsessing over Beom coz of his brother... when (only at ep 7 here) it looks like his brother was the "shameless prick" who betrayed his best friend and slept with his girlfriend.

Even as a rookie prosecutor no one can behave this irresponsible in a crime scene in this drama the way people treat the doctor is very horrible .I hate that male young prosecutor he is not logical at all. But incidents and plot is good . And I like female lead in 2nd series she is much mature and realistic in there but she is very immature here. If anyone interested about forensics watch this you can learn something really interesting .

I really don't like the female lead character, she is so childish and dont suit to be prosecutor at all. Like she is prosecutor but she is lead by her emotion and intuition to judge a case. And she always gets angry when the things don't get her way, like she can't accept the reality or fact. There is a comedy scene too in this drama but I don't think it's funny and it's too dramatic for a few scene.

She always ‘attacks’ the forensic doctor (especially during the first few Episodes) with illogical reasoning. I mean, she gets angry to the doctor for releasing an autopsy report. I mean, that’s what he does, make a report that will help the case. . Neutral. Not make a report that will support (Always) the prosecutor. Duh. Its funny how she gets angry (to the doctor) when things don’t get her way. Haha so childish. (and she goes to the doctor’s office and makes a scene.) it is so irrelevant. The lead forensic doctor character, i think, lacks something. I just can’t figure out what it is, but the show failed to put emphasis to it. If his character was a dish, i think the writer should add more salt and pepper. (but i like his character better than the prosecutor). Maybe, I’m not satisfied with his ‘rudeness,’ or coldness. The reason why I stayed until the last episode was because 1) of Lee Yi Kyung because I’m a fan and 2) the cases was interesting enough to get hooked I think the writers are good in writing criminal cases but not creating romantic scenes. Haha I can feel that they tried to create something ‘special’ or the ‘connection’ between the two, but nope, its never gonna happen. And yep, too many unnecessary scenes like shouting. Make me realize “ah right, korean dramas can be exaggerated with their actions” hahaha

Female lead was naive & bit ignorant in first episodes.But in some cases prosecutors were overdramatic they blame forensics for revealing real facts its true that some revealed facts were supportive for defendants but still they have to reveal truth,some episodes prosecutors & forensics were like in a competition , yp its not leading 2 characters but other prosecutors .Other than that I really love this show.

NANA Jul 13 2019 1:26 am Going on the 12th episodes. Each episode gave me goosebumps but not in a good way. The acting of some of the actors are too much and too obvious like amateurs. Too many unnecessary yelling and body movement. Some of the stories have loose ends and many unnecessary storyline. It has bad editing also. Like low cost production.

Good thing is, there's no cliche love line and the ost and bgm are up to par.

But honestly, I love the dynamic between Baek Beom and Eun Sol. And Jung Yoo Mi has gotten a lot better since her really early days, have been following her since Dong Yi. Really love the sass she shows in this one.

Of course, like the sloppiness is unexpected it did irk me at some spots, but I can close an eye by saying it's part of the enthusiasm. Overall, a worthy watch, but not much romance really, a bit disappointing.

If I had to say watch or not, I'd say watch. Give it a go, if only to see Eun Sol really get her game going and Baek Beom to shape up. Don't expect romance between them though - it could have happened but it wasn't delivered. By the end of the show, I swear I rooted for this more than Stella and the junior kid - he kind of got on my nerves

Their characters are so annoying lol especially that baek beom ahjussi. He kept shouting loudly urgh my stress level keeps rising during watching this drama. He did nothing other than shouting, making angry face. All the explanations about the dead bodies were done by his assistant lmao. And the female lead, the prosecutor. They said she gaduated as one of the top students but how come she be that sloppy at work??? There’s no correlation in the story :(

Franzisca Oct 20 2018 6:21 am Warning: This a Forensics Drama more than a Medical or Cop or Prosecutor one, so I'd advise those who are quite sensitive to the gore genre not to watch it at all. I didn't mind so I was delighted to find myself hooked on these characters and the story itself.

I'd criticize the fact that sometimes they were a little exaggerated with some reactions. Not all people react to sadness in the same way and there were some clichéd turnabouts, but this is MBC. In general, I loathe the fact that some channels insist on instilling that "traditional way" of drama through the script. That's why I tend to watch OCN or TVn more than the others. HOWEVER, this drama in particular deserves to have a good mention because the cast rescued the drama. I loved every one of them even the whining psycho prosecutor (he was more psycho than Dr. Psycho). There was some good OST, I loved the singers and the final song was almost incredible.

I know that many people are quite interested in the romance but it would be utterly unrealistic (and convenient) to see how Dr.Psycho and Seol Eun are to be together that fast! He was grumpy because of a past trauma, is not that easy to change his view on life that easily, specially when he's that stubborn. I'm totally for subjective sexual/romance tension between two people because that's pretty much how an introvert reacts; and don't ever think that the Dr. is the 'tsundere' trope because he isn't. He's melancholic-choleric (Hippocratic personality test).

(In her mid 30s? How many times did she have to sit her exams?) But as someone who has purportedly striven to excel in the face of her parents' neglect and disapproval, surely she should not have been portrayed in such a shrill and immature manner. Jung Yoo Mi just pouted and shrieked and gasped loudly and made exaggerated faces through most of the series. I hope the director in her current series will rein her in. A better writer would help, too.

She could use a bit more development but that's because the screentime kept going off to other characters and kinda cast her aside. But she is really sweet, intelligent, and passionate. She can be impulsive at times but that's because she has a strong sense of righteousness. I hope to see more moments between her and the male lead. They have chemistry together. The plot was a bit all over the place at some parts but it was still very interesting with each case. I don't really like that the male lead's ex turned out to be in a coma in the last few episodes though. That cliche in particular is really....annoying. But since it said "to be continued" I have hope. I love love LOVE this show. And I love the characters. Looking forward to the next season (maybe also 3rd one if possible)❤

jess Jul 24 2018 6:55 am IMO this show is one of the most erratic K dramas I’ve ever seen, even though the basic ingredients are fine, and in Jung Jae-young they’ve got an actor capable of carrying the entire enterprise on his shoulders alone. The main problem is the writers’ tendency to take the basic ingredients and make a big mess of them. (The director doesn’t help - e.g. he allows or directs perfectly adequate performers like Jung Yu-mi and Park Eun-seok to go over the top, which just compounds the mess.) Sure, I can see why they wanted Baek Beom to have a tragic past, but why did they have to drag it into that makjang girlfriend-in-a-coma crap? And yes I can see why they wanted conflict between BB and Kang Hyun, but why did this conflict have to descend into KH doing the most unbelievably unethical things while his supposedly righteous colleagues (especially Eun Sol) just stood around and watched? And most damaging of all: I can see why Eun Sol is a rookie and passionate with it, but why did the writers turn the inexperience into stupidity, and the passion into shrewishness? Even worse, why didn’t they try harder to improve her character - and btw just getting her to identify the old man’s burn mark, and to regurgitate facts for the new prosecutor, is NOT improving the character - instead of literally marginalising her sometime after the Cha Soo-ho case? And not just marginalising her, but bringing in Oh Man-seok, an undoubtedly more respected actor than Jung Yu-mi, to play the prosecutor’s part to Baek Beom’s NFS role? Investigation Couple? In the last few episodes the couple was in effect Baek and the new guy. Yes I’m sure there are people out there who’re probably thinking, if you don’t like the show don’t watch it; don’t be rude about the writers, etc. But as viewers we have every right to provide constructive criticism. And if the makers of the show are serious about a season 2, they should make sure that the script is at least consistent before wasting actors as good as Jung Jae-young, Oh Man-seok and Joo Jin-mo on it.

   And the last Do Ji-Han , prosecutor who just appear when the drama almost end. he just appear for 4 / 5 eps, but I already like his character. at first I think he was a bad guy. but I'm wrong, the way he analyze a case is very cool. his character is tough too. what I love from him is he always accept their ( team from Baek Beom, Eun Sol, Cha Soo-Ho ) idea / opinion for solve a case. When he appear, he make an great team for solve criminal cases. Really a great pair for Justice.

I can't wait for season 2. I curious about relationship between Cha Soo-Ho & Stella , Baek Beom & Eun Sol lol

Having him realize So Hee has been alive all along only at Ep 31? And why suddenly bring back the villain from the first story?

Eun Sol is the blandest lead I’ve ever watched. Not sure if it’s the writers’ fault, or just the actress’s interpretation of the role. And this weird complex torch she holds for Baek is so ... bleah.

It’s been lots of ups and downs with this series. The supporting characters are still more colourful than the leads, but after a while their minor sub plots become wearisome as well. Stella’s triangle with the two men is so boring and doesn’t add anything to the story, and none of them are properly developed.

Usually they don't air both season one after the other so season 2 will be next year at least, there are three new dramas ahead. This is getting interesting so can't wait for season 2.

I mean Dr. Baek has not even proved guilty. And although the others know that he is very emotional towards Dr. Baek, they just stay still. What. The. Heck. I would have dropped this drama, really. But i am very curious about what will happen to Dr. Baek lol, and the cases are really interesting, making it the only plus point of this drama.

tim Jun 25 2018 8:43 pm episode 19 and 20 are so frustrating especially that kang prosecutor, it's getting ridiculous how he's mixing his personal grudge to the case and refused to listen to reasoning even though there is another suspect right infront of his face but he just refused to see it, and he called himself a prosecutor, he just wants to take revenge, and even though his colleagues all realized that he's too emotional and unreasonable they say nothing and let him throw a tantrum like a little kid. hopefully they found the killer in the next two episodes so he can give it a rest and move on with his life.

Peter Jun 17 2018 1:31 am Yeah, some scenes are off the role; like Sol bring over dramatic and some plot holes like not wearing a mask, gloves, shoe wrap. But other than those, this series is really interesting. I don't why some disagree with forensics solving the case, comeon it's their job! lol Prosecutor's job is in the court, to clear up things, while forensics creates the puzzle so don't be surprised if they can solve the puzzle as well. But honestly this series is starting to become a live action of Case closed? After 2 cases they stopped doing hearings.

Dear god, do they need to fix their characters, now I rather just have a medical investigation drama type since they are the ones solving the cases and finding clues unlike the prosecutors. But the crimes are surprisingly interesting, and also I think I'm now seriously invested in what happens next to Baek Beom. Mostly because Jung Jaeyoung is really bringing his A-game to this show, and the writers seem to be putting all their energy into creating his character (while neglecting the others lol).

tim Jun 11 2018 9:59 pm this is getting interesting, but that prosecutor kang is really getting on my nerve, he just wants to take revenge on dr. baek. kang is way too emotional when its come to dr. baek, and he's way too quick on drawing conclusion to his case, that he's ended up making mistake and making wrong judgment, in his mind he's already decided that dr. baek is the killer with or without evidence, like in episode 18, he's already concluded that the doctor killed mr. seo just because of the medications at the crime scene and dr. baek doesn't have an alibi, for that reason he concluded that baek is the killer, what kind of prosecutor making final judgment just from two things he saw, there are million of possibilities that the killer is some else, the same for his brother, prosecutor kang is so narrow minded, he just wants to believe what he wants to believe without considering any other possibilities. this drama will have no romance, i think its better without romance in this type of drama.

Okay if it does not have any romance, will be disappointed should there be any as both characters are independent-minded. In order to put romance, the writers would make a 360-degree change on the personality of any or both the lead stars. They started that way and I took them that way so be it.

      The romance relationship that I mention before is just my personal fantasy, because they live in same apartment side by side, and when Eun sol came to rent that apartment for the first time, she mentioned "I FEEL THIS PLACE IS MY FATE " , that statement indicates direction of the story I think.

       The writer is the god of this story, because she/he who create and determine the ending of this story anyway, all destiny and fate in this story is up to him/her :)

I wonder why prosecutor Kang Hyun only has BB as suspect (except he is so narrow minded) He should think the other alternative such as the mysterious female surgeon for example.

As someone fascinated by forensic science, I am really disappointed in this drama and have stopped watching after Episode 12. Nothing about this is professional, and I'm not just referring to the storyline, but to the directors and screenwriters who can't be bothered to treat their subject matter, and the audience that watches it, with the respect it deserves.

And I tot for a while that now they are finally into the fine details like the basic use of gloves.. but then there were still scenes of the officers using bare hands while investigating.. Worst of all..how can the post mortem room be so poorly protected..can't they at least send some high level protection masks even when they do not stock it in the room? Maldo ahn-dwe!!!

Raptor Jun 06 2018 8:12 pm For those who are gushing that LYK is finally in second lead, please check out Laughter in Waikiki. He’s hilarious there and is basically sharing lead status with the rest - an ensemble cast. Unfortunately here I don’t see him quite as second lead status. Prosecutor Kang seems more like the second lead male character due to the shared connection he has with both Dr Psycho and Eun Sol.

I’m totally fine without any major loveline or romance for this drama. The bits and pieces of Dr Psycho’s late girlfriend and the backstory of how she betrayed him with his best friend is sufficient for me. And we can all see that Prosecutor Kang is interested in Eun Sol, but I hope if the writers are developing that it won’t drag down the pace of the series. Not every drama series has to have major romantic lovelines and developments IMHO.

tim Jun 05 2018 11:05 pm i don't hope to see any romance relationship between the doctor and eun sol, they're totally opposite from each other, he has a bad temper and she is too naive for a prosecutor and too emotional, as a prosecutor she needs to be more compose and level head, i like the main male lead though, as a doctor he need to be accurate and precise, a single mistake could turn a case up side down, or if he guess the wrong time of dead he might ruin the entire investigation. the young prosecutor still have a lot to learn. over all this show is getting interesting. will keep watching

In my eyes, the "quack" in this drama is Kang Hyun. I wanna ripped his mouth T.T

Every time he produces results that she doesnt like, even if the results are sound, she would accuse him of taking bribes, falsifying results, being bored by the case, being a heartless corpse lover, being a psycho. All this she screams at him, unreservedly. I don't understand why anyone would think she is a nice girl. She is really mean.

Like many people have noted, he seems like almost the only adult in the whole show, while the rest are like badly behaved and/or stupid kids. I concede that he is a really shouty boss but at least he never back stabs or undermines anyone he just yells at people who don't know their shit, like the prosecutor girl and her pals. You don't see him yelling at Stella...

Lee May 30 2018 9:32 pm On the positive, it's an interesting drama. But the medical examiner character is really a turn-off. Because he's so nasty to everybody around him.

I understand that he lost his fiance in an accident 10 years ago, but that doesn't give him a free pass to go around verbally abusing his staff and his coworkers.

Also, he's supposed to be this great medical examiner, as if this additionally gives him the freedom to be a royal jerk to those around him.

I basically loathed that character, because he was so nasty to people.

And I think this is where the drama fails, because you actually want people to empathize with the two main leads. And, in this case, he's so horrible to the people around him, I lost all sympathy and respect for him.

I think the writers, and director badly erred on this character.

Initially Eun Sol was a bit impulsive when the series started, but throughout the episodes, i can see the character development For the psycho doctor, he got his temper and a mysterious vibe around him, and tht's why I can't wait to see how the writer will slowly unveil his characters. Oh yeah, would love to see how this 2 characters relationship will evolve.

Anyway, this is such a good drama. As an international viewers, I'm pretty sad to see the ratings are not tht high.

Baek Beom is an interesting character, he give no room for assumption and only looking at evidence. But Eun Sol frustrates me to no end. instead of warmhearted, she is just nosy, overdramatic and tend to be irrational. I'd believe if she become a prosecutor by family connection, but it's not the case here, it makes it even more ridiculous.

Eun sol is innocent, unexperience and so impulsive, but she still has cute side and she has stronger character than spoiled-no brain-bullier female at wok of love.

Inmyheart, dr May 19 2018 9:23 am I started watcing ep1 when it first came out. I stopped halfway bcos i thought it was stalling and was at a rather slow pace. Then this week in a rather laid back mood...i continued watching telling myself to give it a try. Haha and now i’m hooked. This drama has some suspense, thrills, mystery, and is dramatic with an innocent touch of humour in it... i sincerely feel that...so far it is kind of good. I will go on watching ...can’t wait for the next episode...
