She is like a rainbow when she acts. may it be drama, action or comedy, she can do justice to it all, she is different yet underrated. I hope she will be more upfront in promoting herself, she can be more respected by living herself as one of the greats like Son Yejin. Put yourself out there Jung Somin coz you are best actress of this generation, before the rainbow fades.

Jung So-Min playing Mudeok was most definitely the best part of binge watching episode after episode. I was a little disappointed she was not in part, even though the story line matches up its still feels wrong not to see Jung So-Min playing Mudeok again. Brilliant actress, cant wait to watch many more movies and series with her acting.

philippe Dec 04 2024 7:18 am I have been much taken by Love Next Door, by the main couple, by the story and dialogues, the voices as I quickly read the sub-titles and watch expressions, now I have watched Because this is my First Life, a very moving drama and discovered it was made in 2017. I wish I could or can see more dramas with Jung So-min. I wish her well in her life and her career. I may even visit South Korea after seeing some of the best series and perhaps see where films are shot.

Window to the soul Nov 11 2024 9:29 am quite new to korean movies and series, i first saw her in alchemy of souls ever since then i could never forget her eyes, so mesmerizing. Those eyes always put you in a trance, and her acting ability is on point. Whenever i watch her it felt like i am transported out of reality and into her imaginary world. Thank you for being the best, hoping some day i could meet her but i might be a zombie after looking at her spelbinding eyes hahaha

Daniel Dec 18 2023 4:44 pm I fell in love with Jung watching Alchemy of Souls. I've got 3 episodes left of season 1 and my heart is breaking knowing that she is not in the show after that. She is an amazing actress and very beautiful too. I truly love her in Alchemy of Souls and am having a hard time dealing with the fact that she won't be in season 2. I have no idea what happened to Mu-deok yet, but I hope they can bring Jung back into the show. I'm going to find it really hard to watch without her. I think my heart will just break over and over again. I've learned more about Jung this morning and found out she is extremely Amazing and Highly intelligent. Any man would be a lucky man to have her as his wife. I really hope to see more of her in the future.

I really hope they also bring Jung so min. otherwise, it will not be the same as no spark interest for me will be there as the story will be repetitive and bland. in s1 both bu yeon and naksu resided in bu yeon body thus becoming mu deok. So it's fair for both actresses to return. For the main story to unfold both naksu and bu yeon are important. i will be outrageous and utterly disappointed if they cut of bu yeon. i can't believe she will not be there as she too has her part in the story. nakus and uk can be the end game but please bring so min as bu yeon. she suffered too much,it was her character who got separated from her mother due to power battles and politics so she should remain with her part and at least have closure. it is really unfair to her character and the plot.

please writer and director team bring both jung so min and Ko Yoon-Jung.

I am very entertained and reread this drama many times whenever I need a mood booster or miss my senior life. Jung So Min is very cute and funny there. Besides that, I also watch her other drama. She has good chemistry with all his partners. I remembered how mature he was in the drama with seo in guk. And again I fell in love with his acting in Alchemy of souls. Although the old gap is quite far, she is very compatible with lee jae wook. I was really scared at first when I heard that she got the role with lee jae wook. Surprisingly the chemistry is great. I enjoy this film. My weekend become more colorful.

She is really pretty but always portrayed as a not-so-pretty girl in dramas . I'm not too fond of this fact in kdrama that they often represent the male lead as godly handsome guys but present the female lead as mediocre even though in real life they are actually really pretty girls.

Just like in this drama they portrayed all the male actors good looking, also naksu as a pretty girl but mu deok average looking. i mean why?!

She has a great chemistry with all her co lead actors even in her short drama The Red Teacher. Now I'm wondering again why JungSoMin did not receive any award in Because this is my first life, The Red Teacher where she played so good in these 2 dramas. I think as a judge or a reviewer of a drama, they should consider all the emotions that the characters had showed and not just in crying. They should also consider the eyes and facial expressions that speak more than words. Why does JungSoMin is so underrated in Korea? Is there any politics involved in their judging or what? Viewers are the best judge also, isn't it?. Aside from her acting, she is so pretty, so lovely and cheerful but she is not just a pretty face but a person with a golden heart, beautiful spirit, kind and so passionate. She is the ideal korean idol that a fan should have.

She's an outstanding Oh Hani in Playfull Kiss, a top notch in Father is Strange, and awesome in Because this is my first life. Her acting in all the shows I've seen so far is absolutely praise worthy. There were scenes that I cringed a bit but even those were excellent. Someone said she'll be good in whatever role she gets and I agree. I bet she'll be good as a villainess too, but hopefully not casted as one. I'd like to see her in a heavy drama though, with her sweetie Lee Joon. Hope to see both of them in a drama in the near future. Jung So Min, Lee Joon, keep up the good fight. You are Korea's entertainment treasure.

I've watched this series a few times now, not only for the captivating story, but for her strong performance. She's so believable during her day dreams and in her moments of excitement, such as when Seungjo Baek wins a toy out of a vending machine for her, or when she's deeply hurt, or surprised with a kiss. Too, I like that she's given a strong voice at times, speaking out at Seungjo about his cold and sometimes cruel behavior toward her.
