ishy Nov 26 2020 10:16 am A lot would think that Deul Ja is annoying but actually, she is just a typical mom who wants the best for her children. It doesn't matter if it would embarass her as long as she can protect them. She also has her own struggle but has to be strong because she doesn't want her children to worry about her. The way Deul Ja handles things may not look good to other people but in the long run, it is what's best for them. We should be proud of her. Eun Gyung is selfish. She only thinks about her self and her image as a rich woman. Jung hoon's dad is cool.

P.S. I am still currently in episode 12 while writing this comment. This is an old drama but surprisingly it doesn't make me bored. I like the cast, they are all good. Lee Mi Sook acting is different from the roles i first saw her. She's amazing.

Dilu Feb 20 2019 4:22 pm I watched this is 2019 and was happy how the drama turned out to be. I had pushed back this drama a few times due to various negative comments, but gave it a shot as I likes all the cast. And I wasn't disappointed! The story justifies the title. The plot revolves around dating, marriage life as well the process leading to marriage and later divorce. I learnt a lot about Korean pre-marriage traditions, dilemmas of young couples who plan their weddings, social pressure to follow others and many other important aspects couples go through during various stages of dating and marriage. The story has 5 different couples: lead couple who plans to get married, second couple who have indifferent views on marriage, a couple who is in the process of divorcing, a couple who marries late and finds happiness together as well as the parent couple. The widowed mother's scheming can be quite exaggerated. But I think the writer has covered a vast topic in an interesting manner. However, you must be ready to read through the lines they speak and their actions below the surface level. If you analyse the story on surface it is a just another story with two annoying mothers who does evil acts preventing their children getting married.

Sometimes, i read a few comments before watching a movie or drama. Viewer comments don't really indicate the quality of the project though because everyone has their own insight and preference. But, i kind of hesitate for watching this drama first.

Honestly, it's so hard for me watching the first 6 episode too. I want to give up but i really love both lead actor and lead actress. I watched a lot of their projects so i want to believe in them. Then i'm so grateful to finished it all. This drama has realistic point of view. I learned a lot of life lessons here ❤️

zhengyi Apr 16 2018 3:35 am After the second half of the series, Junghoon's mom became my headache!! She was so annoying. She's a cry baby and I still do not understand why she is such a spoiled brat.

The ending was not satisfying, just okay. But some things were not properly knotted.

Hyejin's story was my favorite. Taewon's crying scenes broke my heart.

Minho and Deulrae's romance was the funniest!!!

zhengyi Apr 07 2018 10:20 pm I'm super annoyed by Hyeyun's mother, she is so thick faced. Even if she had a hard time raising her kids, her in-laws do not owe her anything for her to demand more than what they can give!!! She is the main problem in the story.

I love how light and cute this drama is, except for Hyeyun's mom oh my god good lord I hope she learns her lesson she is ruining everything for her daughter

deb Aug 07 2017 3:03 am I love Dong Bi so much, and although I want to legit wed Kim Young Kwang, Ji Joong was a complete dick in the beginning! I kept hoping Dong Bi would just get over him, become amazing in her career, and eventually find a better man who makes her laugh and cherishes her and is warm.

But seriously. I would've loved this drama 1000x more if it were just about Han Groo on a journey of self love and overcoming the clutches of her awful, emotionally abusive father.

While I skipped a lot of this drama, I can appreciate the character and relationship development in this drama, from Hye Yoon to Jung Hoon to Ji Joong, but of course, particularly Dong Bi. But ultimately, I didn't finish the drama. I was really upset with how that storyline ended up. I love Young Kwang, I learned to like Ji Joong, but them getting back together and marriage made no sense. They didn't even heal their scars! She was so scared of him acting nice to her! That's not how a healthy relationship looks.

CWGM Mar 23 2017 8:24 am I prefer Dong-Bi and Ki Joong's story. And I agree that they should be the main leads. I just finished watching this drama and I find myself skipping many parts 'cause I only watched DB and KJ's love story. On the other hand, the writer is too cruel towards Hye Jin. She deserved to have a happy scene w/ another man. She's a good lady and I want her to be happy. I want to kill that sh*t husband of hers. It's a great drama btw.

How could that bastard do such a thing to such a beautiful woman and her child.-she is a strong woman after all that she forgave him.

LPA Mar 21 2016 12:22 pm P.S. In reading through the other comments, I just wanted to mention my thoughts about the "fifty-year-old couple." I can't imagine that someone thought they were boring. I have to admit that I have never been fond of motorcycles myself, but the fun and adventure and the wild abandonment of these two were inspiring and heart warming, especially since they were in such obviously opposite roles.

Maybe the person who wrote that comment is very young. If so, I would say don't be smug or condescending. Give it a few years and you may come to realize that adventures in life never have to end no matter what your age is. Until your last breath, life is what you make of it!

LPA Mar 21 2016 11:54 am I really liked this drama. At first, I started watching just to see what it was about, but it was so interesting that I was compelled to keep watching. I couldn't wait to find out what was happening in the next episode and the ending was perfect. The acting was excellent and it never slowed down or became boring. I loved the different couples and situations. It was so true to life. I recommend watching this and rated it 95/100.

Ami Apr 04 2015 4:25 am Firstly, I shocked at the first eps because of kind of vulgar....ups sorry.... especially when Ki Joong & DongBi's kissing scene >.< well I think it's because the male leads are still at young age (24 yo) where he's probably on the fire giving the audience with the great service at trying to get the chemistry with the partner. But I admit the JungHoon-HaeYoon couple have the chemistry and it made seeing them so lovely <3333 recommended drama!!!

The rest of the cast is perfect, we'll the 50 year old couple is boring haha. It's a good drama. I'm in love with Sung Joon, he's my favorite korean actor <3 <3 <3 He's so fine.

Buing buing Sep 24 2013 9:50 pm The mothers in this show are cray-cray. Hye yoon can get annoying at times but still a good character. I like how this show goes into depth with how hectic planning a wedding in korea is for simple folk. In other shows its just you're engadge ok so heres the wedding or both parents are all like ok get married heres a bunch of money so you don't have to worry about crap. Both of the male leads are adorible. I just want to go into the screen and say to them I won't be compliacted, neither will my parents, so just marry me. Kekeke. Dong bi, the two male leads and the kid are my favourite characters.

akudena Aug 13 2013 8:50 pm This is trully daebak! I mean the screenwriter really did a great job in capturing what really happening to couple who are preparing for their wedding. The dialogue are smart and witty. Plus all 4 subplot were written greatly. The situation doesn't apply at Korea only, I believe all countries and cultures have some issues regarding marriage. Thus this drama can easily related. Jung Ae Yeon's acting was impressive.

kapoop May 07 2013 1:22 pm I wasn't that impressed by the drama I thought certain scenes and plots dragged on for too long. I did however like the cast and the overall story was ok but it could have been done better and not dragged on for so long. I wouldn't really recommend it but if melodramatic dramas are your cup of tea then by all means this is just perfect, its like a mini soap opera

I mean who sleeps on the same bed with her best friend's to be husband. like i understand they are friends and everything, but still it's weird. I get that Hye Yoon can be selfish, but she shouldn't do that to her friend.

I really love Jung Hoon's parents. They are soo adorable.

Nastassia Jan 05 2013 7:14 pm I really enjoy this drama, I never thought I would love it as much as I do. I really like the secondary couples more than the primary couple. Dong-Bi and Ki-Joong's relationship is interesting while Min-Ho and Deul-Rae are cute together.

One is overbearing, controlling and rude while the other one is so high maintenance and insecure. But good drama so far. Liking all the side stories involving the other couples.
