Drama series depicts various stories of real life cartoonist Jo Suk and the people around him including his older brother Jo Joon and his girlfriend/wife Ae-Bong.

Hani ('EXID') was first offered the lead female role, but declined.
First script reading took place March 24, 2016 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea.
Each episode is 15 minutes and 4 episodes air per week.

Ciepao Jan 05 2023 12:37 am I thought this drama would be boring and bland since I don't really find a lot of mini dramas that were adapted in webtoon good, but this is hilarious!

I love all of the characters in this drama, the way they deliver all of their actions were so funny. The actors and actresses they picked even the side characters were brilliant. I love all the scenes, and episodes, you can't even find one scene that is not funny. And Jung So Min is sooooo adorable in this drama! (My heartttt<3) hoping to see her more in comedy genre!

This is 10/10 and recommendable! If you are finding a drama that is light, super funny, and can be finished within a day then this is perfect to watch!

Nikki Jul 02 2020 4:27 pm Just finished watching this (Season 1) it was so funny. I really enjoyed it and it’s only 30 minutes each episode so I watched all 10 episodes in 2 days. It really cheered me up and distracted me from this madness that’s going on in the world. The cast were spot on. What a crazy family ? Lee Kwang Soo has been born to play a comedic role. He was brilliant in this. Really liked the female lead as well so am happy Hani didn’t accept this role. Kim Jong Kook makes an appearance as well which was good. Overall I’ll give this a strong 9/10. If you want to watch something light, funny and silly then you will enjoy this. ?

jaynekicks May 12 2020 4:26 pm I really love Kim Mi-Kyung. If I see her in the cast, I always watch the show. She is still stellar in this role but the comedy itself felt too American to me ie obvious with no subtlety or wit.

I am also starting to fall in love with Kim Dae-Myung. I'd seen him in other stuff but after watching him on Knowing Brothers, it made me pay closer attention to him.

Sadly, I wasn't even able to make it through the 2nd episode.

It just angers me that the cast and the writers were completely replaced by other actors and writers. First of all the main lead from season 2 is not compatible with the original, even the family, from the messy brother and the parents who in season one suit the dam role. Overall Reboot version sucked so bad to the fact I only watched 5 minutes of the first episode and didn't laugh at all like wtf. Season 1 writers and the whole cast should be put back on the show, they literally ruined the whole show.

Christian Nov 02 2018 8:58 pm This was such a huge mistake to change the cast. I think they also changed the writers because it's not even half as funny as the first season. The characters have no personality and they seem very game and made for tv while the original cast was perfect and very unique and strong personalities. Before the story plots eere genius comedy and well thought out but now it is like simple minded comedy with very little effort and trying to be cute.

I agree so much eith Kbk89. Said it perfectly. They ruined one of the funniest shows you can watch.

It says they used that guy cause he’s chic. Wtf season 1 was funny we don’t need chic!!! And I liked everyone on season 1. My husband got so upset he stopped watching season 2 and now he’s rewatching season 1 for the 4th time.

@Mishiah do you mean Kim ki bang? I have not read the webtoon but if the lead there is short and chubby then kwangsoo's definitely not it. But i guess they can always change the physical aspect and maybe the personality of the lead fits our giraffe :)
