That's the first time i saw you in a serie. I love Korean movies and serie. I'm glad i had watch this serie, because it was touching, confusing and also very sweet. Ever since I started watching KDrama with “Mr Sunshine” I can’t seem to enjoy our American films. I could say many reasons but this comment is just about you. You are a handsome young man, but when you smile your face changes into something beautiful. You make me believe that you are truly Gong Ma Sung, a really complicated and endearing man. I think so many of the KDrama actors are method actors. You seem to become your characters. I shed many tears watching this drama and it really tore my heart when you did the scene when you found out your aunt betrayed you. You were so believable I felt like it was happening to me. Rang Jan 19 2021 6:22 am CJH used to be that actor who is very familiar because I saw him in a lot of TV series. But I came to love him in Zombie Detective. It was a really fun series. It was short and I wanted to see more of him— then I was blessed with Mr Queen! It almost felt like a continuation of his character from ZD. I'm really grateful, even for a few scenes and CJH's voice.

Lissie Nov 20 2020 7:07 pm I only started watching K Dramas last March when the pandemic began and I came across Choi, Jin-Hyuk in Fated to Love You. He portrayed the character of Daniel Pitt as someone elusive yet warm-hearted and caring. There was charm in it and I looked for other light K Dramas he starred in to watch. There is versatility in his acting with the different roles he played in Devilish Charm, Emergency Couple and The Heirs.

His acting skills were admirable in those shows. Perhaps, I will watch Rugal and The Last Empress next to see him from a different perspective.

I haven't watched Zombie Detective. His acting may also be A+ there though personally zombies are not my preference and I get scared.

The last Korean drama I watch was my golden life, how I disappointed with the ending make me stop all Korean drama watching. Though my friends told me so many new dramas they said good to watch, but I didn't interested in it.

Then covid19, we all need to isolate ourself, so boring. Then I tried to search drama randomly. And I choose tunnel. Then... It's different with other Korean drama I watched before. It's not about rom-com drama. The plot, the story, the acting were worth to watch. Then I realize this Choi Jin hyuk is really good in it. So I search for his other drama. I found pride and prejudice, and again it's okay. So after that I did marathon watching his drama. Tunnel, pride and prejudice, justice, emergency couple, devilish joy, and now on going rugal.

Then now I know he can sing with very deep husky sexy voice, also he is really handsome hahaha. Now I become a fan of his.

For Choi Jin hyuk, please do drama with good story and plot, we are always waiting and will support you for good dramas. Fighting!!!

I'd seen n in Tunnel a few months back & he looked so healthy. I enjoy this actor. Its a little funny to which him play an innocent gullible person. I suppose that's what makes him a good actor. I've seen 97% of his dramas. The most memorable one..the 1 that got my attention was "Gu Family Book". I fell so n luv w him & sad at the same time....but his son n that drama at least had the happy ending. Wish him cont success.

I agree with other fans that this actor is one to be watched not only because of his good looks,( abs included!), but also his singing voice and acting skills. True, this guy has a beautiful smile (he is in my list now) and when he talks, you'll love to just listen to him.

Once more, I hope Korean dramas/movies should not always pair a younger actor and older actress, Maybe a year older actress. I can't believe that there are not enough actors around. Where are the older ones or at least same age actors? I'm really bothered about this practice. Even if some actresses look younger than their age, faces do not lie regardless of what they apply or do to their faces.

Sure it's thanks to the script writers and directors of said respected dramas, but making me fall in love with every single character just proves your oustanding acting abilities. He can play any role and convince you of the character. I also love his kissing scenes, he is one of the few actors that really show passion in his love scenes he is very convincing. He is just as good as Lee Min Ho, So Ji Sub and other leading men or better, I really hope he finds an agency that can see all of this, they won't regret it, he will be a blockbuster actor if given the opportunity. He is definitely lovable, and pulls you in with his sweet and naughty personna. It is a pleasure watching him on the screen. I wish they would give better roles with more substance so he can showoff his hidden gems of talent.

The way they dressed him and his cool look in the Gu Family Book reminds me of many of the Chinese historical /wuxia actors... especially, Raymond Lam ;-). I would love to see Choi Jin Hyuk played the main character in this type of drama more in the future.

He filmed it last year (before Heirs) around the time right after his return to Gu Family Book as Dark Wol Ryung and was in hot demand (still is if it weren't for the upcoming military enlistment).

But yeah, it's a great song (one of my favorites), very haunting and gut-wrenching. The music video is fabulous for him though. UNF he looks so good in it and did such a good job in it. Very moving and heart-breaking role.

But I saw him in a black & white music video about six months ago. In it his wife newly wife is seeing for him they have a small child... judging by my huge Korean vocabulary I surmise he dies and she gets this letter and drops the flowers. Anyway he's almost totally shirtless this whole song and anguishly moving. It was the best music video ever. By the time I dragged mom in the room to tell me what the song was called she said she didn't know and walked off. Anyone know the song?

Dawn Jun 26 2013 3:25 pm Alright, so on May 20th, I posted about this new drama on MBC America that I had started watching...well just as I predicted would happen Wol Ryung and Seo Hwa were supposedly killed off....OMG, I cried!!!! Seriously, but thank the television gods, they have both been resurrected....which I also predicted. Anyways, this show is the best drama since sunshine right now.

I love the entire cast, even the nasty Lord Jo (I can't wait for him to get what's coming to him)!

Anyways, Wol Ryung...played by the delicious Choi Jin-Hyuk....all I can say is the good look gods and acting gods have definitely smiled on you.

I truly can't wait for each new episode of Gu Family because of you! May you have a long and prolific acting career!!!

While Wol Ryung's character was already written as a totally perfect and lovable person to begin with, it was actually Choi Jin Hyuk's handsome smile, deep sexy voice and superb acting truly made me root for Wol Ryung. The role really suits him! Although very unlikely to happen, I wish there would be a spin-off drama special featuring Wol Ryung - Seo Hwa. I want more of them and their love story!

I became even more excited to learn that he will join Heirs with my other favorite K-drama actor/actress Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye! Now I can't wait to watch Heirs because it has three of my favs in it!

I hope to watch Choi Jin Hyuk act in lead role in a drama someday... I wish him the best in his career! Fighting!!!
