Benita Dec 16 2017 10:19 am Unnie is Alive was such a dope drama it got me hooked instantly and i can't seem to realize how much hours i spent on watching the whole thing. Probably like i finished it in 2 weeks? Crazy enough to devote myself on dramas that much but once i'm hooked on one particular drama it's hard to stop. While i loved this drama but i still couldnt get over how bad My Daughter Geun Sa Wol was aigoo. After watching, Jang Bori and Geum Sa Wol, I wonder why it so similar? Both main lead character are naive and pushover. They getting overpowering by their "sister". Now I know why, because a person who don't have enough creativity to create a new story. Why write a drama that is the exactly same as one before? Even the parent part of the situation is the same. It doesn't make sense that Young Ra waited 14 years to start her revenge against Ji Ho. The writer could get away with it if YR did not have the opportunity during all those years, but that's not the case here. Elvin Kim spending all that money and time for revenge based on YR's earrings left at the fire is a hell of a story considering that evidently he still cares for her. In Hwa getting one year jail time and YR getting 8 months (did not even serve it) for all those crimes is unbelievable. The last crime they committed is at least attempted murder if committed here in the U.S. (could be murder if the body of the intended victim is not switched). I think the writer should do research about crime and punishment to make her script realistic. The beginning is alright. However, the more the episodes, the boring it is cuz it's such an unbearable one to watch with those repetitive dirty tricks from both mother and son to harm such a musical gifted and righteous one.
