As Shim Su-Ryeon (Lee Ji-Ah) walks to the parking lot to meet Logan Lee (Park Eun-Seok), an explosion takes place by his car. A suspicious elderly man walks by, while a mysterious figure watches in the background.

Once the residents from Hera Place are released from prison, Shim Su-Ryeon and Oh Yoon-Hee (Eugene) form an alliance with Cheon Seo-Jin (Kim So-Yeon) to take down Joo Dan-Tae (Uhm Ki-Joon). Soon, Baek Joon-Ki (On Joo-Wan) enters the picture as an old friend of Joo Dan-Tae. What secret does he hold on Joo Dan-Tae? Meanwhile, Yoo Dong-Pil (Park Ho-San), husband of Kang Ma-Ri (Shin Eun-Kyung) and father of Yoo Je-Ni (Jin Ji-Hee), returns to Hera Place after spending six years away. He seethes inside and seeks revenge on Joo Dan-Tae. At Cheong-A Arts School, Joo Seok-Kyung (Han Ji-Hyun) faces punishment for her past bullying actions.

Loool Apr 02 2023 3:19 am SPOILERS… We could’ve all done without this season… I enjoyed season 2 especially with how yoonhee was actually dead and didn’t make a grand return 3 episodes later. The overall storyline was very good not as amazing as s1 but nevertheless still good and I really do wish they ended the show there as this season is where this show just completely fell off and didn’t make a comeback until we see how seojin and dr ha died. (I really liked dr ha’s ending it was the saving point of this season for me) This season was by far the most unserious and comical attempt at dramatic tv I have seen and the actual shows ending itself was quite dumb. If you can I’d suggest you stay far away to preserve your good thoughts about this show. ?

However, the ending overall i wished would’ve happened is for bae rona got to atleast end on a happy note with her real father. And logan to have been able to live a great life with Su ryeon. It would’ve been great to see how the family life would’ve developed had logan and su ryeon been together and continued on being a family with the twins and hyein. (Warning!!!!! spolier ahead) The other thing that’s been bothering me, unless i missed it is who is the most is who is seonghuk’s mother is. Like was it NaAeGyo or some other random woman that was never mentioned?

jaja Jan 14 2022 7:28 am They should have ended in Season 2. It was a great show. But Season 3 was a joke. People dying then coming to life, then people suddenly having a twin all along, it's cliche already. Characters suddenly having change of hearts, so inconsistent and unrealistic. Then people are all out of jail despite all the revenge and plotting and evidences in Season 2, things went back to normal. It's just tiring and boring, I didn't finish season 3. Couldn't stand it, sorry.

I get that if everyone keeps coming back to life, the drama gets too predictable and cliche, but at least when you kill someone, have it make sense. Oh Yoon-Hee's death at least made sense, but what in the world was with SSR and Logan's death? Even CSJ's death was a stretch for me. This is just lazy writing imo. If you really want to kill off all the main casts to make it unpredictable, at least make up something believable. Logan's cancer returning??? And btw why didn't their parents get his brother to donate his bone marrow in the first place, his brother was never mentioned in the first two seasons like what even?

Edrianne Oct 31 2021 10:47 am Just finished watching s1 to s3 in a week. I'm so glad I didn't watch this while airing, I don't think I can wait every week for an episode because of all the twists.. I love it! Tho some parts are quite hilarious af because some characters just won't die and always come back. Lol! May mga lahing cardo Dalisay e. Anyways, I enjoyed every bit of it. Kudos to all amazing cast and no wonder KSY won the best actress award, she's so damnn good! The kids also made so much progress in acting from s1 to s3 they turned into really good actors and actresses. The adults are sooo good too, I especially like Su ryeon's (LJA) acting. Hoping for many projects for all these actors. Love them all!

Ps. The cinematography and the instrumental sound tracks are perfect too.

Kim Young-Dae (JSH) and Lee Tae-Vin (Lee Min-Hyeok) are starting on their drama and webtoon respectively whilst Park Eun-Seok (Logan Lee) has his stage plays (though most likely he's on look out for his next drama.) ;0)

Any suggestion that he survived to appear in the final episode is ludicrous. It was the silliest of all the silly events in this series. That said, I did enjoy the first two installments.

Many reasons to "hate" the ending - especially for those of us who have followed the cast for 40+ episodes for almost 1 year and expecting happy endings (SSR + LL, OYH + HYC). But to be honest, this is the "right" way to end this - OYH did kill Min Seol-A, and SSR's hell-bent quest for vengeance, no matter how righteous, led to countless suffering and deaths. To allow them to go "unpunished" and live happily ever after would be the juvenile way out (a bit like Devil Judge - which i loved except for how the main character escaped unpunished despite all the damage, havoc and deaths he caused).

That said, let us applaud once again Kim So Yeon, who despite playing a character everyone would love to hate, still managed to evoke sympathy for CSJ in many, many scenes. I would say she deserved another Baeksang for her performance in the final episode - resignation, brokenness, remorse, maternal love all in one tragic figure.

DeeDee Kho Sep 12 2021 8:39 am SPOILERS. This is the worst ending I ever watch in the year 2021. I expected so much from this show but I feel like every of the writers just made the story horrible on purpose for the sake of a new Kdrama.

What would have been done? - Keeping Eugene's character alive to fight against CSJ as well as keeping SSR alive; Had SSR been alive she could have live with Logan and Hye-in in the US. SSR, CSJ and OYH could have had a fight together.

- Joo Dantae gets to be in jail as well as CSJ the only difference is that she didn't kill herself but she ask forgiveness to Rona and Eunbyeol.

- Baek Junki should have been in the fight against Joo Dantae along with Dongpil not SSR. But the BJK character was useless as well as Dongpil

- Hyein should have been a part of the show fighting against Seokyung and her evilness rather than Seokyung running away many times and being unrepentant towards her mom. Also she should have shown remorse towards Jenny and Rona in a more humbling way.

- HYC could have been alive and married OYH then singing together with Rona on stage.

This is my take on the ending. For KSA, LKJ and KMR their endings were already good enough to watch.

As for the writing - It's purposely rushed for the sake of an upcoming SBS drama - lack of effort and direction - No balance in the storyline - Plot writing is horrible and unsettling - There wasn't any bad-ass factor in any of the scenes not even good acting can suffice this

Personally my family members loved it because it is super intense, the characters are very unlike the people we used to meet daily. This drama is different, the storyline is non predictable and makes you think out of the box. Though lots of plot holes and many stories being left out. Where is the real joo dan tae? Why did ssr commited suicide knowing she would hurt logan lee. I feel this season is really rushed unlike season 1 but i truly enjoyed all the seasons.

"Penthouse" is literally the epitome of what a makjang drama should be like: unrealistic plot, exaggerated scenes, lack of logic and hence unpredictable turns of events, roller coaster of emotions, etc... Generally you have murders, secrets, revenge and all sorts of common storylines.

The basis of this kind of dramas is to entertain, no matter how absurd the story can get. In the case of the Penthouse, that is exactly what's happening!

If you don't like the genre, that is fine, but don't insult the entire world just because it doesn't match your personal tastes. Actors, writers and the production team don't deserve to be dragged down. On the contrary, they should be praised. They managed to make you watch the show until the very end. So the joke's on you lol...

Shim Su ryeon, how can you commit suicide and leaves everyone behind you suffer?? Especially Logan and Soek kyung. Poor Logan, he still managed to live after a bomb accident just to meet Shim Su ryon, but she made such a bad decision. Makes Logan suffer and has no desire to live anymore.. until finally he died of his cancer again 3 years later.

The actors and actresses are amazing, but Rona is every overrated, and viewers suddenly had amnesia and forgot how horrible she was in s3 and that angelic Toon Hee killed a child. Su Ryeon, that is the actress is very bland, honestly she brought nothing to this drama, the villains and side characters made the show. Please, anyone who crazily ships Logan and Su Ryeon is either a new drama watcher or has bad instincts, they were slightly entertaining but honestly had no chemistry and its clear the actor's really don't like each other or are very uncomfortable with each other, it was painful to watcg the romance, i wanted to stab my eyes, a very very very overrated couple. En Byeol's role was very very stupid but the actress grew the most through out the series. Kim Young Dae is another pretty face with below average acting skills, he needs acting lessons, he cannot emote. Seoul kung, killed it, she was annoying and badly written but she CAN act, like really ACT. SBS, and the side characters sold their dignity for money. The writer should please stop writing or at least stop choosing quantity over quantity.

The ending is so disappointing and waste a whole season. Shim Su Ryeon death is very very disappointing as she’s a strong and brave woman in every situation. Shim Su Ryeon kill herself? Even after all of brave things she’s done to take revenge? And even when she finally reunited with his love logan? That's Ridiculous.

Ending was rushed and ridiculous. Not gonna defend anymore. Season 3 story and plot are disappointing, but gonna give big praise to all actors and actresses for the amazing performance. They never disappointed me with their superb acting!

It's one main flaw (besides Never knowing when too many flowers or candles were too too much) is that they did not know how to make something stay permanent. It was always one absurd escape or another. You can only suspend reality so far.

OHY's death being permanent was a good choice because it drove the story forward. Every other death made no sense. SSR's death made the least sense possible. She basically killed herself and straight up left her kids. Why? Because she got revenge that she had every right to? CSJ killed people, she didn't. So why even add her death as CSJ's fault? They had proof for OHY. It wasn't even a redeeming death. But when Logan pulled out that suitcase, I was ready to throw my phone because, seriously? It was a nice touch of reality that it wasn't used because if it would have worked, I'd have hated this end more than I hated the crazy unrealistic injuries that he sustained after being blown up. (Seriously, you sustain burns all over your body, including your face, you're not going to be handsome with a couple of faint boo-boo on your cheek and neck. They couldn't make that look real? If they dialed back on the flowers and candles, they'd have had a killer makeup budget.)

I really, really wanted to like season 3 after the first two seasons were so strong. But it just got worse and worse with every episode. (Alex isn't even going to be mentioned. Thank God they decided not to add him other than one other time.) There were so many opportunities for them to keep the intensity that made them a success, but they decided to create superpowered people. When SSR pulled the gun from a garter strap, followed by nailing him in the forehead like a sharpshooter despite never being shown to even practice, I knew the finale was going to get a disaster and I was right.

A real shame for such a strong start and amazing cast. They were let down with terrible writing.

Because I watched & support The Penthouse from season 1-3, but eventhough it was a sad ending. Everything happens for a reason. Life must go on. I think life after death is for real.

I will missed this show so much and always be remembered forever. Good job for everyone. Looking forward for another k-drama show for this set of actors & actresses, because they already built a friendship & family to each other. Kamsahamnida...

L Sep 06 2021 10:33 pm I feel like some interesting characters like Ju Haein, real Joo Dantae, Go Sangah were not justified by the production in season 3. The actors are undeniably good, but their character presentation in the story are quite badly-written.

- Ju Haein’s character and presence is interesting especially during OYH’s investigation. I was quite expecting more exposure from her this season but I don’t think they have no more story to give to her.

- Real JDT character is quite disappointing. It’s not about his betrayal but I feel like his “revenge” to fake JDT wasn’t really exemplified. His “crush” on SSR was so unnecessary and not significant in the story that it actually spent many scenes in this season. In the end, he just left like nothing happened.

Go Sangah character is so plain throughout the penthouse series. I expected alot from her character since she’s in the posters but no. I feel like her scenes are just side scenes to make episodes reach an hour. I actually hoped that the production had given her character more story or interesting involvement in the mysteries/conflicts other than being an accomplice in Seola’s death and being a gossip housewife.

ss Sep 06 2021 8:02 pm just a random thought. jenny had a character devt but her character is one of the most i pity in the series (other than seola). ik its just a show but if this is for real life, her life as always number 2 to bae rona is sickening. from cheonga high contest to the cheonga audition she always can never be the best. she got a good voice but must always adjust to rona who should be number 1 as the main in the series.

eunbyeol had her solo in s1 when rona was late, seokkyoung became the school ambassador in s1 when the script was leaked, and rona won the daesang trophy and the audition. but jenni never had any and it's kinda sad given her character devt.

i hope that they put jenni in the spotlight before the last ep.

It also showed a genuine brotherhood for LL & HYC and friendship for SSR & HYC. They supported & cared HYC until his last breath. His soul & OYH will be happily united in paradise.

The Penthouse is the best, it made us feel different emotions. Thank you guys. This was a superb creation that we will remembered for our entire life. Repenting for the sin, Forgiving & Loving is the key to be happy. Congratulations to all, great work to everyone.

Ss Sep 04 2021 3:50 am Ep. 13 last scene isn’t as striking as the ending scene in Episode 11 (Seojin hit by chandelier) and Ep. 12 (Hera Palace destruction). The ending scene was predictable.

Every scene was a mess. One outsmarting the other — HEB thought she outsmarted her mom, then CSJ thought she outsmarted her child. Sorry, but I feel like the episode only revolved on Seojin’s fam.

I expected more exposure to other Hera kids as well.

Well, since S3 episode 13 was a total upset and huge disappointment to your audience/viewers and final episode is 14. We don't see there will be an acceptable ending when you have to cramp everything in 1hour 15mins drama episodes. Season 3 has been draggy and lots of unnecessary scene on the next episodes which wasted like 10-13min. I believe the only way to make everyone happy or make things better is by adding few more special episodes to fix all these huge mess right.

Also how is it that Joo Dan Tae can still have the strength to pull a bomb trigger after getting 5 shots including the head which is probably the most fatal area and seo Jin literally getting smashed by a whole chandelier and still survive but ha yoon chul who only fell down the stairs become blind?? I think the season 3 is so unnecessary, the plot is the same in season 2. No more exciting plot twist. I know it's fiction but make it at least realistic since it's not under the genre of fantasy or what. Who the hell in the world has a sibling that looks exactly like you. And also, the drama will soon be finished but I still don't see any character development. In the end of everything, I still believe it’s Oh Yoon Hee who deserves the death-resurrection plot more than Logan Lee. I just feel that her character is much more needed and standalone in the remaining episodes while Logan Lee in this season feels like just an accessory or decoration beside the character of Suryeon. However, I don’t want Oh Yoonhee to return anymore in the last two episodes. That would be completely stupid and clutched if ever.

The rest are so unnecessary — it should’ve not been Rona who “died” in season 2, it could’ve been Jenny or Seokyoung and their resurrection would not be necessary while the revenge party would still continue through their parents. Also, Logan Lee’s resurrection was completely unnecessary!! I thought his death would only make Suryeon more vengeful and would force the 3 main lady characters to work together as the final blast against fake JDT, but no, they still returned him to satisfy audience’s call for Logryeon loveteam, which is completely illogical.

dewee Aug 30 2021 1:08 am although i have to admit PH3 is nowhere near as good as PH2, i'm quite surprised to see how much criticism people are spewing over its plotholes and logic leaps. what needs to be remembered is that this is a makjang revenge drama, meaning its core audience wants to see vengeance/ punishment exacted over evildoers (being carted off to prison just dont cut it). and keep in mind that many of the illogical things actually fall under improbable but not impossible:

JDT fighting on after being shot twice? adrenalin rush. JDT triggering the remote? reflex/ spasm. CSJ surviving a chandelier plunge? survival is possible esp if the chandelier was still sorta held up but she wouldve been at least disabled or laid down for weeks. i won't be surprised if OYH is brought back due to the water being near frozen and thus she didn't die but was in suspended animation/ coma due to the cold. all improbable, but based on scientific possibilities. (JDT's body not crushing upon impact is a further fetch but... artistic licence).

there are some stupidities like why would JDT's secretary still aid him (and where the money is from) - misplaced loyalty maybe, and how the heck did JDT manage to smuggle in and plant so many bombs - might be that SSR saw it coming and used it as a way tp take down Hera Palace (thus the evacuation - tho the debris would still damage surrounding areas).

all in all, yes there are many logical stretches, but nothing uncommon in KDramas (my biggest facepalm has always been the revelation in IOTNBO that the nurse is the mom - nobody can change her physical features AND voice AND mannerism that well that nobody recognizes her).

If you look in the scene closely, everything was in slow-mo so in real life, everything happened in just seconds while the scene took about 30 secs. I don’t think “blackout” in JDT mind will go right in that instant.

The better plot hole to notice here is why JDT body and fountain both were intact after falling from 100th floor to 20th floor of Hera Fountain.

That happens when you get invested but can’t stand the storyline turns or they just don’t make sense. There is suspension of disbelief but too much is expected. The problem with this franchise is the executives are calling the shots. They are extending a story that was supposed to end months ago and rushed these extra seasons on the writer. They should have rotted in prison when they see there and then the story should have taken a turn to those on the outside. Surely with them gone others would turn into them and be plenty interesting. More people would come into light. It would have been boring but showing others living a Hera Place acting completely normal would have been a nice contrast. It’s almost like this was written by North Korea making sure to fuel the class wars btw poor and rich. Some extension of movie Parasite. In the US the hero of that was the daughter carrying out the bloody son of the man currently killing her father. In the US the con maid was a murdered and the lot hostage takers. The victims were the original staff and the rich family who did nothing but employ people and love each other. If they wanted to see grass and sky move to the provinces. If they hated a basement apartment move to the roof. 4 adults could not work minimum wage and manage an office tell with loft monthly rental above ground?

Before I started watching Penthouse, I was convinced I ran out of the really good kdramas and was really upset about it. When I did start Penthouse, my love for kdramas reawakened and I was hooked in. Season 1 and Season 2 were spectacular. The big budget helped the drama of course, but the incredible plot twists did most of the work.

I don't know what happened in Season 3 but things just started sucking one after another. I refused to be fooled that OYH died (as they already "revived" SSR) so the agony of BRN never really made me feel anything. I was actually so sick of the crying scenes at some point because the acting was noticeably worse. I could predict what BRN would say every time she was sad and it was annoying.

Now that EP11 (or EP12, the one with the bomb) aired, I'm just in awe at how terrible the plot was. The plot was so linear, SSR just explained in one line that fake JDT would come if she announced an engagement in the Hera Palace, and that's it. No clever thinking behind it. To make things worse, fake JDT actually took the bait and showed us that he would be bombing the palace. If this was supposed to be an important episode, why did they rush it and make it so predictable?

I was actually expecting a meaningful conversation between fake JDT and SSR when she goes to him to stall for time. I was hoping for some shock from SSR when she hears how fake JDT's family died, and it seems like she already knew and had an explanation ready. There was genuinely nothing special in this scene, because fake JDT had no character development when he found out there'd be an engagement, and everything that happened up to that point was predictable. I understand that he didn't want to let the engagement party happen, but the writers failed to emphasize on it, which made the fight between SSR and fake JDT really cliche and bland.

They really should have just killed off CSJ when that chandelier fell on her, it looked like a definite death sentence when it happened. The fact that she is healthy and only has dementia is such a big plot hole. What happened to that injection that was supposed to take away her voice? Does anyone remember?

In summary, this season sucked because many of the plot points were linear and predictable, there were no twists at all. The fact that Logan would return was also expected, I did not believe for a day that he was actually dead.

OYH memory is distorted because she is drunk, she tried to help min seol ah but only can grab the apple chain. The facial expressions by Kim SoYeon is cringeworthy and the girl who plays her daughter. The only remotely believable characters are Suk Hyeon and Rona. And the daughter who died. From what I see Su Ryeon doesn't really know what was happening in her home. Dan Tae was beating the kids, the kids were bullying Min Seol Ah etc... I think she was more focused on Hye In's health than to notice what's going on with her family. Also I don't like the fact that kids in this show always argue and insulting their parents. When Seok Hoon sais he is just like his father I thought Su Ryeon will comfort him by saying he is not and that he is also her son and he raised him to have good heart but as usual the kids are doing whatever they want and parents have to clean after them.

I mean, how often do you find a drama as good as Penthouse or World of the Married Couple and SKY Castle? It's not easy, you know. That's why I'm so grateful that Penthouse is still airing despite all these negative comments. Even good dramas such as Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Vagabond and Arthdal Chronicles also left hanging with only one season. I'm forever grateful to Penthouse for having these 3 wonderful roller coaster ride seasons.

How Joon Dan Tae always gets his way despite all odds is unbelievably ridiculous and unrealistic. That's only changed when Oh Yoon-Hee went to prison. She could predict that Joo Dan Tae by following his secretary, he had to somehow get explosive materials. And it was pretty to guess who is target if she had contact with Mr. Baek. And theoretically she could find Mr.Baek before Logan because for pretty long time Joo Dan Tae was also her target.

- conspire with Mr. Baek in the US (whom she had no prior knowledge of or history with) - manipulate Logan to bring Mr. Baek to Korea because according to Mr. Baek she was the one who brought him to Korea - orchestrate JDT's breakout and supply him with explosives that are just enough to injure Logan but not kill him and then use Mr. Baek to plant some human remains inside the car (although Logan and the explosion took place outside the car) to fake Logan's death - prevent/bribing the police or forensic's team from discovering that the human remains doesn't actually belong to Logan who has assets worth in the billions because it is normal SOP for the police to just take the word of the sole witness (Shim Soo Ryeon) that the man killed in the explosion was Logan? - sneak Logan's body away (God knows for what purpose?) right in front of Soo Ryeon in an ambulance to a secret warehouse/medical facility that is fully equipped to deal with blast injuries/3rd degree burns complete with specialist/ doctors to treat Logan (remember Dr. Ha was still in prison at that time) - record the whole incident so that she can use it to blackmail JDT later

What make these accomplishment even more amazing was that not only was she in prison during that time with limited contact to the outside world, but she pulled it off after losing Cheonga foundation as well as a majority of her wealth bar a small amount of slush fund she had stash away with only secretary Do to carry out her plans. If this was real life, secretary Do and secretary Jo would have ran off with with CSJ and JDT's slush funds and left them to rot in prison instead of going through all the trouble to carry out all these crimes for their bosses.

I'm all for plot twists and surprises but only if done so cleverly or with somewhat believability. The current plot line has more holes than a Swiss cheese that had a rat gnawed through it and is closer to the realms of fantasy rather than fiction. I'll finish watching this series since I already started it but will avoid any drama written by Kim Sun Ok in the future.

I could've accepted it the first 3 times (and that alone is a lot) but with Logan?? A literal bomb exploded right next to him and his entire body caught on fire and you're telling me that wasn't enough to kill him??? Also why does everyone have a secret twin? Suryeon, Logan, Seokkyung who's next, Dantae? At first I thought they created Logan's twin because they didn't want to remove the actor from the series, but since Logan is alive wtf was his purpose in the series other than looking ridiculous and mocking the black community? Anyway, this is a drama. The purpose is for entertainment and there's a reason it's topping the charts. That's all the writers producers and actors want. For me, I am loving every bit of it. It's not a reality TV show. Lol

Writer likes to hurt SuRyeon a lot and showing her unhappy. This series could be saved only by one thing: Logan coming back and having happy ending with SuRyeon. This is what most fans wants. When watching episode 4, I felt that the baddie is all over the place doing bad within a short space of time - like what commentators say that about teleporting.

My frustrations, whilst watching, were that the writer, did not and still does not, do a good job in being logical but let her imagination took control to let the baddie be all over the place as well as allow him to have the upper hand in every situation so far.

Writer allows for baddie to have many hencemen but conveniently leaves Oh Yong Hee and Shim Su-Ryeon helpless in dire situations. Let's not forget that Oh Yong Hee has money to get bodyguards, especially during crucial periods to safeguard herself against the baddie and his hencemen.

It appears that baddie's enemies are all bidding their time to turn against him. Kdrama, being kdrama, will see baddie's upcommance will begin from episode 10 onwards.

Trouble with most Kdrama is that the ending comes abruptly with loose ends left hanging, especially characters' lives going forward. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So this drama is going for 12 episodes. If you don't want to see the bad guys prosper you can probably skip it till episode 10 or 11 when the good guys start to restore order. Everything before it is going to be just filler. Kdramas are mostly predictable in this way.

That is unless they decided to have a season 4!

I was so devastated when Logan died and wanted them to bring a "plot twist" that he's alive but now I think it would be for the best if he doesn't. I just feel like if he does there's that big question on why he didn't just came back in the first place, its only been 3 episodes but it feels like so much has happened already. And they would just be repeating the same thing again and again for the past season.

Oh yeon hee role is just being independent and boring. Suryeon never ending failed revenge. And they add new characters that doesn't have a point at all. I thought they spend their lives more in prison but it was only half of the first episode. Eun byeol is not a bully anymore but she's still weak. I wish she's just strong girl just like how she slap jdt on her words.

Remember it was not Eunbyeol that tried to kill RoNa. It was Dan Tae who stuck the piece of trophy into her skull. She only pushed her while hallucinating on meds from the crazy maid. Remember RoNa’s mom was in prison over Unnie when it was Dan Tae killing his wife/double in the penthouse. Then he paid off the maid who died to keep quiet.

He was then told the bad news (that he did not get the minor role) but the writer then offered him the roles of Alex and Logan, citing his ability to speak American English, ride a bike but that his character role as Alex would not be visually attractive as well as that he would have to play 2 characters (Alex and Logan).

Park Eun-Seok enthusiastically accepted the offer as he is a down-to-earth guy - any offer of a role would help pay his bills and also he had plans to bring his parents over from Long Island, USA, for him to take care of them.

I believe Park Eun-Seok at no point was thinking that his role as Alex would translate to cultural appropriation but more on earning money to pay his bills as well as that if he does not take up offer, there are many other actors eager for the 2 character roles (Alex and Logan).

Even if she’s going to be accepted in SNU she’ll graduate and will be compared in the future with even higher and more experienced Sopranos.. she’s way too illusional and her mind indicates how stupid and childish she is.. Finally I really hope someone kills her, she’s not a child to not understand how her mother’s feeling and what’s going on around her.. she’s even forgiving her father who was frequently abusing her, never gave her love!! It’s too upsetting just imagining this I Just Want Her Dead!

Second, I feel bad for eun byeol’s situation, how she’s being slowly stabbed in the back with her so called new teacher/ mother betrayer Jin. She was doing well but surely in the end when she knows it will really break her to pieces she’ll be really hurt mentally. I hope seojin rescues her daughter.

-did anyone realize from the trailer that aired in the hidden room, we saw a scene where Logan was talking to a woman and gave the Seoul Bank vvip key, while we know that logan got the key after he arrived from the US before meeting Sooryeon, and if you see from the clothes used, it was different from the clothes when Logan was in the accident, meaning the timing was different. Since the 3 ladies are main characters, I kind of want them to have more screen time in the same frame!!!!!

Also, in S2, without Seokhoon-Rona in some eps, I felt like the narrative missed some other plots going on in addition to the constant revenge.

From what's on episode 13 so far, circumstantial evidence, as seen by viewers, point to Joon-KI as playing a role in having a bomb in his briefcase and hence his nervousness in wanting to get out of car.

Whether he regretted and "probably came back and saved him. Pushed him or something like that." is something that is not known yet.

If you have watched the drama properly or seen the screenshot on predictions from episode 13, you would have seen that there were 2 bombs - 1 exploding from inside car and the other from cart-trolley outside the car.

Why would Joon-Ki, played by On Joo-Wan, returned to save Logan Lee if he planted the bomb in his briefcase in the 1st place?

Also equally puzzling is how and where did Joon-Ki get the bomb to put in his briefcase? It would be difficult for him to have bomb in his briefcase whilst in the plane unless story is pre 9/11 of year 2001 or viewers accept story as pure fiction and ignore logic. Not judging script writer as the season 3 is only having table script reading this 24/4/2021 and hence all is speculations.

-- don't make sookyung character be good. Her brother seok hoon too. So disgusting. Does rona forget already how they torment bullied minseola even she, have a taste of it.

-- yoonhcul. He's character became weaker and weaker. And yoonhee? I don't believe rona is yoonhcul child. That's really a question mark.

But I also don’t think that they wouldn’t know that joo dan tae won’t give up since he plans everything perfectly, predicts the play and has experience, he took advantage of jenny’s dad and (Joon ki??) Also it’s most definitely and highly possible that joo dan tae will be killed in season 3 since they all want to kill him with boiling rage in their hearts. He’ll never give up... over his dead body shall I say.

My theory goes :

1. He knew that the guy he was with in the car and/or the old guy pushing cart is shady so he got out of car and ran away

2. Or maybe he just does this to see if Su Ryeon loves him (the possibility is low but never 0)

3. He knew JDT's guy are still everywhere, he knew what happened between Jenny's father and JDT so he had to come up with something to make it look like they 'failed' and came back again after few years.

Also, lets hope this will be the last season. I honestly cant cope with the conflict. Season 2 had twist over twists in every episodes it triggers my anxiety ?✋?

And that they will show those moments before he dies.

Second theory is that this all never actually happened but that its all jdt imagination some have said that on the newspaper the word 'failed' was written, what could it mean? I still believe that Secretary jo and logan lee are some what working together and now that he works for jennys father i feel like LL and him might be allies thats why this could all be imagination. Well this is a crazy theory but i strongely believe we will still see the actor play logan lee tho.

Musika Apr 03 2021 10:25 pm I only watched penthouse because I was so hooked with the characters of Logan & Su-Ryeon (both characters are strong & smart, plus their story/connection to each other is tragic yet both handled it well without being careless unlike other characters.) It's like battle of the brains against Dan-tae and the others. I liked to believe that Logan would still be alive because, they pulled out Su-Ryeon & Ro-na from the dead. Thing is I think it will be difficult to bring back someone who exploded and burned that way. Good luck Logan. I still wish to see you with Su-Ryeon fighting those ruthless people with your combine brilliant tactics and against all odds partnership...

They have brought back Su-Ryeon, who was definitely dead, they have brought back Rona, who had severe brain damage and in real life she would suffer at least several years of recovery treatment. But no medical, physical or any other laws apply to this show so bringing Logan back is just an easy-peasy for the writers :))) Also, we only saw car explosion, not the burning body or something. So calm down, Koreans know how to make you crazy ;)
