Kang Ha-Ri (Kim Joo-Hyun), with her bright personality, works part-time at a stationery store and a nail shop. Min Deul-Re (Jang Seo-Hee) was a popular actress, but she isn't so popular these days. Kim Eun-Hyang (Oh Yoon-Ah) worked as a secretary prior to the birth of her daughter, but she now focuses on raising her daughter.
These three women lose their most loved ones around the same time. Even though they are not related, they rely on each other to get through the tough times.
Notes
- "Unni Is Alive" takes over the SBS Saturdays 20:45 time slot previously occupied by "Our Gab-Soon" and followed by "Bravo My Life" on October 7, 2017.
- First script reading took place March 8, 2017 at SBS Ilsan Production Studios in Goyang, South Korea.
- "Unni Is Alive" airs once a week on Saturday, instead of Saturday and Sunday like previous drama series that aired at the same time slot.
- From ep.1 to ep.40 each episode is 70 minutes and two episodes air on Saturdays, but from ep.41 (September 2, 2017) each episode is 35 minutes and 4 episodes air on Saturday.
