She makes all her characters believable and memorable. In "Three Bold Siblings" I felt the sincerity of her role when she thought she heard her long-dead son and then realized it was a hallucination. In "Life is Beautiful" you saw someone who endured hardships from a long marriage that was split due to family and adversity and then she was reunited with her husband due to old age and how families no longer wanting their elderly parents around. She demonstrated hate, tolerance and friendship with all her family members, which showed such a wide range of emotions in her acting. I don't know if she has won any awards, but she is definitely a winner with me! Kdrama Sep 16 2018 4:31 am Great actress! She really portrays her characters well! Fighting!! elizabeth santos Jan 26 2016 2:52 am dear ms. kim yong rim I have watched several of your kbs tv dramas here in the Philippines and your really very good in all of them. . your latest kbs tv drama sweet sweet honey was so frustrating. . why is oh bom the most pathetic member of the drama where almost everyone in the drama is slapping and hurting her? my grand daughter is asking me why an abandoned daughter is being treated that way. . where everyone is so unkind to her except those two men who are in-love with her. I cannot answer her question why an abandoned child is being trated that way in korea . . I told her its only a drama, my question is "when will this unkindess end? as of now we are not watching the drama sophiagarcia Dec 27 2015 12:47 am i so love this lady on sweet home, sweet honey, or rather, i so hate her. she is very effective as an annoying mother-in-law but a scene becomes alive whenever she is present. she is a great performer and no one can pull off a triple-quadruple-printed attire like her. she is a great actress. I have just gotten use to the fact that Korean tv seems to end there shows to quick. I loved Iris and Ojakgyo Family I personally thought they could have taken these two shows so much farther.
