Eugene married actor Ki Tae-Young on July 23, 2011 at Joong Ang Church in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.They first met while acting together in the drama "Seeking Love"
Eugune was cast for the leading role in cable TV drama "Color of Women," scheduled to air in December, 2011 on cable TV station Channel A. Her sister was then seriously in a car accident that occurred in Guam. Eugene then decided to withdraw from the drama series.
Eugene gave birth in April, 2015 to her first child, a daughter. The daughter was born in Guam.

I was hooked with the drama series because of her acting, beauty, nice story, excellent direction, and outstanding acting of everyone, especially Eugene. I think she should have gotten an award, she portrayed the character outstandingly well. I really like her with Lee Jung Jin, it seems they both have really good work chemistry. Wish to see them again in another nice quality project. God bless her, her marriage and her growing family.

Rai Jan 06 2021 6:44 am I'm a fan! I first watched her in Baker King/ Bread, Love, and Dreams and Im so glad she's one of the main character in Penthouse (if not the main). You greatly portrayed the character Yoo Eun Hee, a mother who's willing to go through literally great lengths for her daughter. I found myself rooting for your happiness and hating your character at the same time for making the wrongest decisions. But it just shows how human you are. Anyway, the acting was finely executed that i cant help but get immersed in the whole drama lol. I love your character best in the penthouse series. Hoping for many successful dramas and the best of your career after penthouse. Im seriously a fan! God bless!

After searching a lot in internet and asking many, I came to know that these subs are available for the people who have VIA access (should donate atleast 10$ to have VIA access) in WITHS2. Like a lot of Americans, I find Eugene to be an odd name for a girl, especially since a lot of TV, movies, and radio programs over here traditionally use it for the roles of weak, socially inept, nerdy men. I get that it's close to Yu-Jin in phonetic terms, but it's something of a shock to expect to see a male loser and then be faced with a stunningly beautiful woman. From my cultural standpoint, ethnocentric though it may be, the first thought that comes to my head is, "Who would hate her that much, to saddle her with THAT name?" I'm just saying this is how it strikes me. If it works for her in her homeland, more power to her. Just be aware that it could hamper expansion into certain Western markets. And yes, that is a relevant point, since Eugene is the woman's stage name, something chosen specifically to make her stand out in show biz.

Also, she grew up in Guam, however, her English name at that time was Gloria. I knew girls with the name "Eugene", so what's the problem with that? Morever, she's getting married to her love interest in Seeking Love/Creating Destiny Ki Tae-Young in July. They really look good together & have been together for over a year.
