soom Sep 15 2022 10:14 pm January--AFAIK...yes his family name is Wi and correct way for strangers to say his name is to formally say his Whole name, not to use his personal name Ha-joon, but his Whole name : wi ha-joon ("wee HAH'-june"). If you were very close friends or family you could drop his family name. no creating nicknames or such if you want to be polite. Personal ("first") names are created by family by combining two words to give a meaning or portense of good luck/good fortune/destiny. Stage names are a different matter. Sometimes they arecreated by their management companies, sometimes they create their own. They may or may not include their original family's name.

To watch out for Sep 11 2022 5:19 pm Out of the many 1st and 2nd male leads that appear within the last few years, I thought WHJ is the one most deserving of attention. His acting is natural, his looks is good and he has the x-factor and the ability to not annoy the audience. It was disappointing that he didn't get much offer after starring as 2nd male lead in Romance is a Bonus Book and yet ironically got attention from a small role in Squid Game. He is currently in Little Women and every time he appears the mood of that drama becomes nice and calming. I am certainly looking forward to more of his work.

So Bad & Crazy I walked away Really enjoying actors Lee Dong Wook and WI Ha Joon! They are so good together I want to see them work together again. But omg WI Ha Joon's smile! He just has a fun personality and he's a Leo like me so I could see he's full of charm that flows through the screen! I recommend anyone to watch this fun & suspenseful drama! You won't regret it

Elisabeth Apr 16 2021 4:13 pm Hope he will play a lead role some time soon... he conveys dialogue message through pure emotional portrayal/acting ...also when he suspects that his love interest is involved with the lead editor l; his following her and watching her ; with facial expression of suspicion, then confirmation of his suspicion and finally his disappointment in his inability to pursue his love interest (Oh darn! She’s taken sort of way) ........ and at the end when he finds out that he is indeed the son of the famous author and that the book by this man written was about his own birth and that he is his son .....the anticipation of and the realisation of those facts displayed so expressively was so effortlessly communicated non verbally..... c’est formidable!!! Congratulation!!! Keep up the great acting.

Elisabeth Apr 13 2021 11:13 am Ha-Joon :- my personal opinion ... was the best actor in ‘Romance is a bonus book’.... when he takes out the lead on a date and they introduce themselves to each other.... his mounting shocked emotional response display; as she relates to him; her age, marital status and being a mother is .... priceless. I liked his supporting role in “Something in the rain” too.... the “abused by mother” younger brother of the lead actress and best friend-surrogate brother of the lead actor ( who himself performed outstandingly) was an excellent portrayal of a social problem that exists in numerous Asian cultures all the way from the Middle East to the Far East....Outstanding. He should be given a special award for Best emotional display in a series.

xx Oct 20 2020 5:02 am I dunno how 18 Again will end but I think Hong Dae-Young and Jung DaJung will get back together. Still I felt strong chemistry between Hajoon (Ye Jihoon) and Kim Haneul's characters. I don't expect it to end with a twist like Dajung finding another partner which is Jihoon, and then Daeyoung letting go of his ex-wife BUT I would not complain if it happens.

Love Hajoon's smile, he's like a mix of Seunggi and Gong Yoo. His acting in ep7 was incredible, it made me cry tbh. Looking forward for more projects from him!
