I remember seeing pics of him with his best friend, Yunho of DBSK/TVXQ, and how Yunho was helping him while he was struggling to be an actor. He not only finally made it, but now has his own agency!

Wow 53 episodes each an hour long and each episode with every Must See scene. Great acting by every cast member. The children were exceptional. Great on all of you for a great KDrama!!!

shine Nov 07 2022 9:58 pm those who are fairly new admirers of this awesome actor... watch the variety shows he is in and you'll love him even more. he has an ongoing show with yoon eun hye (coffee prince, princess hours), uee and ohmygirl's hyojung, "once in a lifetime, kilimanjaro," you can start with that. in that show, they will be climbing the peak of a 5K+m high mountain in tanzania, mount kilimanjaro. the girls in the show call him unnie, haha. anyway, you can also watch three meals a day for starters. he's also in love catcher in seoul, if you're into dating reality shows.

At the beginning i saw him in Was it love, and in the first place i thought nothing, but when i watched him more in this drama i felt that he is very interesting. Fastly i understood this drama is more interesting because of him and i was catch in this drama by him, When he was showing in drama i began like him more and more. But drama was ended and i wanted watch something more with him. I was searching and found Go back Couple and Mrs Cop. He was amazing in this dramas. He is hipnotazing, very handsome, has special voice and i don't know what to say but he has something special what catch you. I wish i caould watch more dramas with him but in my country isn't more to watch than that i watched, sad but i wait for more. And as someone there said he is underrated. He is amazing actor and deserve more main roles! Sending love and warm form Poland.

Shine Dec 04 2020 2:44 am No other Korean actor has captured me except Son Hojun. I may end up admiring other actors but only because I am reminded of Hojun by certain nuances. His passion and dedication to his craft is better described not as fire but a persistent cool breeze. It is not immediately noticeable but when you do notice it, it makes you want to feel it again and again. I agree with @New Fan, Hojun as a person is someone who seems honest, reliable and loyal, traits that make me want to be his friend. Looking forward to his upcoming movie, "Stellar"!

Got to know him through "Was it love" & am in Team Oh Dae Oh ever since. I went on reverse mode and watched his other works. Daebak. Hope for a brighter, shinier future for Ho Jun Sshi.

We fell for both Song Jihyo and Son Hojun. There was not much of a lovey-dovey scene but we felt your warmth. New Fan Sep 03 2020 6:50 pm Known Son Ho Jun through Was it Love, totally hooked on this drama after 2nd episode. My heart skipped a beat when his eyes fluttered when Ae Jung answered him in the book concert and I could feel the romantic atmosphere when he stood there covering Ae Jung with the umbrella. He is very charismatic even though looks more ordinary in the drama. I got curious about SHJ and later got entranced by him and watched all his other good shows. He is sooo attractive and is actually very handsome, I never get tired watching his face/expressions in reality shows or drama. I can just fix my eyes on him all the way. He has such a charming/witty character, really want to be his real friend. Hahaha. To SHJ: Hope to hear you sing romantic songs someday. Love always.*Hug*

Though know him before through his dramas go back couple and terius behind me but never be his fans. Then after being amazed with his calmness in coffee friends, continue to watch Youth before Flowers, his affection and closeness with actor Yoo yoon seok. In Law of the Jungle, his so mainly, responsible and caring. In 3MAD he is so considerate, helpful, polite and laugh a lot.

His acting became more noticeable in Was it Love. He is a great actor. Love him so much though he is underrated actor, hiks

Then watching youth over flower and saw his chemistry with his best friends, his natural shyness and caring. Continued to watch his show Coffee friends and love to see he became barista, his coolness and calmness. In three meals a day, his relationship with his seniors and how considerate he is. What I love the most from him is his laugh that make you will laugh together with him. His sound is also soothing, just listen to his song with rocoberry and OST reply 1994. Don't forget to watch him at Law of the Jungle. I watch coffee friends & 3MAD over and over again. His acting is astonishing. The way his act in the light in your eyes is totally different with his shy character in variety show. Before Was it Love, I only watch 4 dramas of him, Mrs. Cop, Terius behind me, Go back couple, but his acting is very great. In Was it Love, the way he portraits his character is amazing, you can feel his sadness, his feeling. He acts through his eyes and he is very good in ad-lib. He deserves to be an A-list actor and hope he will get more interesting drama and movie.

He is top of the charts. I feel he is the best...without question. There are so many fakes out there, but Ho-Jun is A-list all the way. I'm sad to say that in the United States, we have no such actors. Please, to all the Korean actors, idolize Korean actors like the great Ho-Jun. Unbelievable!

Shine Apr 03 2019 5:15 pm I am just in awe of this actor. The latest trailer of his new movie displays another person! This was filmed in 2017, I don't even see a hint of Choi Ban Do or Lee Jang Go. Kim Gi Kang seems to have a rough but loving kind of personality. I wonder what he did to deserve to be jailed. Son Ho Jun displays a good chemistry with Kim Hae Sook and Nam Bo Ra in this new film. I'm looking forward on seeing him as the main lead--- He may not be, but we enjoyed his role a lot though. Those kdrama that he's in is definitely worth watching. I just wish that he'll receive more recognitions soon, and more good projects to come. If I were to rate him, it would be 11/10, his acting itself is more than enough, his looks is just a bonus.

Son Shin-ae Feb 04 2019 9:45 pm I am very much looking forward to seeing him as Kim Yeong Su in "The Light In Your Eyes". Seeing him in Coffee Friends, I can see that he is not as outgoing as the others, but he works diligently in silence. He can be funny around his friends at times, but his shy personality still shows often. Knowing that, his effort in making Kim Yeong Su's character alive in the drama (as I've seen in the teasers and trailers so far) is truly to be lauded. He really is a hard working actor. He may not receive as much awards as he deserves, but for him to remain in the memories of those who watch his dramas, with him as lead or not, is in itself a great reward for him as an actor. That's my opinion though. ^_^

SQ2 Aug 22 2018 7:38 pm I just watched him and his cast-mates from 1994 in the travel-reality show, "Youth over Flowers." I'd never seen him in anything before, but his ingenuous nature was surprising, a little shocking actually. He expressed some deep emotional feelings for Yoo Yeon-Seok. I don't know if it's culturally acceptable to be that honest about your love for someone, but I don't think I've seen anyone express themselves like that before. I don't mean to imply it's romantic feelings, but just a strong attachment to him, like he's closer than a brother. He doesn't seem to know how to veil his feelings, which show clearly in his eyes. I think that trait makes a person extremely vulnerable, especially when you're a celebrity. I wonder how he manages to reveal so much of himself without being hurt?

yuyha Mar 08 2018 8:39 pm I watched him for the first time in Go Back Couple drama paired with Jang Nara unni. His acting was just awesome. He can let the viewer in to his character. For some early episodes in GBC I felt annoyed with him because of his attitude to Ma Jin Joo, but his act in some last episodes told me about what he really is.. The chemistry between Son Ho Joon and Jang Nara is such amazing too..it looks like they are trully real couple. i think he deserves best actor award :D

hez Nov 18 2017 12:36 am I really like his acting in Go Back Couple. He truly can convey so much feeling only from the eyes. I called it "eye- acting". Not many actors these days can really do really convincing eye- acting, but he did it really well in GBC. I literally cried and bawled my eyes out during every episode of GBC.

This is tbh my first time watching him on screen and I do hope he get more acting opportunities in the future cuz his acting is seriously really good and he's good looking too! owo

Alvina Oct 03 2014 4:40 am I definitely think he had one of the most nuanced performance in the Reply 1994 show because he was a multi-dimensional character. He acted both humor and seriousness perfectly.

But, while I loved him on the show, it was his appearance on the Youths Over Flowers variety show that make me like him as a person. He's so sincere and thankful and silly on the show, and so over-flowing with affection.
