Choi Ban-Do (Son Ho-Jun) and Ma Jin-Joo (Jang Na-Ra) are both 38-years-old and a married couple. Choi Ban-Do has been burdened with being the breadwinner and Ma Jin-Joo is a housewife with low self-esteem. Even though they loved each other when they married, they now hate each other. They both regret marrying at such a young age. The couple travel through time and find themselves as 20-year-old university students, when they met for the first time.

soojin Jan 14 2023 3:53 am I lost count of how many I've watched this drama. I would always watch this whenever I thought of this. Everytime people ask me my top 3 dramas, I always include Go Back couple. I love everything about this - the cinematography, the powerful casts, the storyline, the ending, baby soojin, and the lessons this drama taught us, especially the married couples (esp. newlyweds). I ain't married yet but this drama really made me cry. Jang Nara's cry would always make me cry! Love it! I also like the genre, like they didn't only make the drama a romantic and family drama but they also added a bit of a comedy to it which is good because it served the viewers as a break from being emotional and from crying. I'm still hoping for Jang Nara and Son Hojun to work together again in a drama or even in a movie, better if they would become a couple again.

PS: Jung Nam-gil's own happy ending is so soothing and satisfying for me.

glen May 21 2022 11:33 am It was obvious from the beginning that the two leads would end up back together. If they had not had a child the ending would have been less certain. That spoiled it for me - why watch it when you know the end? The curse of politically correct feminist writing struck shortly before the end with a silly and unnecessary portrayal of periods and its products inserted into male dialogue and actions. Feminists may like to consider that some women prefer their private functions to remain private - but of course they get paid to ignore anyone who disagrees with them. The acting was OK - particularly Kim Mi-Kyung who always gives a good performance. The compulsory singing was also unnecessary - this is a series - not an audition.

AJ Apr 17 2022 11:37 pm @Ann: Agree with your take on Jin-Ju and Ban-Do as a couple, and on their erstwhile "prospective" soulmates in Nam-Gil and Seo-Young respectively.

Perhaps at the onset, Jin-Joo - Nam-Gil together, as well as Ban-Do - Seo-Young, did look cute (although I personally do not see it that way). But as the series goes on, we could see that obviously Jin-Ju and Ban-Do still have so much to do with each other -- deep down they still love each other.

Through their "flirtations" with Nam-Gil and Seo-Young (although in Jin-Joo's case, it was more of the case of Nam-Gil falling for her), both Jin-Joo and Ban-Do manage to turn Nam-Gil and Seo-Young respectively into better and more well-rounded individuals. Jin-Ju becomes more like a "mother figure" for Nam-Gil, and to a lesser extent, Ban-Do becomes a "father figure" for Seo-Young. This, I think, is one of the things that makes this series as good as it is -- not all relationships between a man and a woman must end up being a romantic one.

AJ Apr 17 2022 8:31 pm Agree with sentiments shared by a lot of posters here -- this is indeed a very good miniseries. Great storyline and screenplay. Another top-class acting by Jang Na-Ra, combined with Son Ho-Jun's solid performance. Top chemistry between the leads. Last but not least, formidable performance by actors and actresses playing secondary characters; most notably Kim Mi-Kyung as Ma Jin-Ju's mother, and Han Bo-Reum as Yoon Bo-Reum.

This is one of those series that you would want to re-watch again and again after a few years have passed. Funny yet poignant, heart-warming, conveying important messages without being preachy, and fronted by Jang Na-Ra -- what's not to like?

Mike Apr 16 2022 10:24 am I really enjoyed this drama, excellent, I loved this as I loved 18 Again...love of family: love of mom and dad, love of your children, love and cherish of your wife, your husband. I loved the feel-good ending. Jang Nara is terrific, her expression and tears of sadness and emotional pain really hits me hard, flood of tears: her scenes with her mother here and in Sell Your Haunted House are amongst my all-time favorite movie scenes. This is definitely one of my favorite korean dramas, no unnecessary very nasty bad characters (I really hate that), no amnesia story, no poor-rich story. Jang Nara picks wonderful roles, I need to watch all her dramas!

Jinjoo and Namgil dont match as a couple. They pursued different values even tho They looked cute. The same goes to BD and his first love. I dont know why some people wanted them to end up together... I guess people care more about visuals than anything else ??‍?

I cried and laughed watching JJ and BD work things out as a couple. They loved each other and They supported each other but Life is hard and sometimes We get dragged by situations and forget about what really matters for us.

That skas Go Back Couple is a priceless drama that teaches importance of communications between couples and between parent-children. Jang Nara’s acting is flawless and I love her chemistry with Son Ho Jun.

This drama teaches and a reminder to you about life, family, marriage and the most important thing - communication. Laugh and cry throughout the episodes.

Such a good drama and lines of actors and actresses but an underrated one.

So if you like this kind of genre, you must watch it!

Found it on Netflix (sept 2021) and binged watched it for a day. One of the best dramas I’ve seen and will rewatch again. I like all the characters here (except for Director Park but it just petty hate haha).

The writer had Brilliant Lines in this drama. This drama made me cry and laugh. Some of the lines really were really deep that my heart felt it. Anyway, More People Should Watch This Drama. gonna recommend it to my friends.

anyfab Sep 08 2021 5:13 am i watched the series without realising i was at the last episode. I absolutely loved this!! high recommended. I watched Familiar Wife (which has the same concept) but this one is far more realistic with the emotions portrayed..how parents can miss their child.. no alternate happiness can erase that. as the Lead FM mom said " a child can live without a parent.. but no parent can live without a child" darn I cried so hard.. but it was a good ending for everyone. Watch It ^_^

The storyline is nice, with the plot of the past and future tying together very well. The plot is not dragging at all. Each episode never failed to make me feel all types of emotions from sadness to happiness and in between. I enjoyed watching it so much. Excellent casting as well! I've been a huge Jang Nara fan since 2003 and I've watched all of her series and I must say...this is her best one yet. I cried, laughed and giggled. If you haven't watched this, I feel bad for you because you're def missing out on a great drama lol. Don't hesitate, just watch and you'll never regret. Best ensemble, great plot, and great acting. Two thumbs up! 10/10 indeed!

The father of Ma Jin Joo and Mother of Choi Ban Do here, are the parents of Hong Dae Young in 18 Again. Park Hyun Suk is the brother of Ye Ji Hoon in 18 Again. Park Hyun Suk's wife was Hong Si-a's friend in convenient store. I'm lovin this drama? I don't know why I only watch this mow?

I haven't finished 18 Again but I'm down to last two episodes when I switched to watching GBC. GBC is more touching and hilarious! The whole casts were great. Highly recommended.

When I first watched it, I did not know how lost one could feel when their loved one was not their for them. Now I do. I know that when I watch this series the next times, I will cry so much that my eyes would be swollen. I love it, 100% recommend. But since it's a drama, of course, it has some great messages to viewers about building a nice family where the husband and wife treat each other with patience and kind.

The story is something that married people can relate too, where at certain point of marriage, couples can got lost, a stranger to each other, drifted apart, "I am not happy"... Rare that I also cried watching a male actor cried. Beautiful plot, and... JKY wuuh love love. Inspiring really.

However, now in quarantine time and the dramas to watch are running low, I finally got to watch it. I was skeptical at first, since honestly I don't really like it if the main couple has someone else to like. However, as the story goes I started to enjoy it, especially after CBD finally realized his feeling and started to go after MJJ. (Contain SPOILER) This is a really good drama. In the beginning, I thought they had an awful marriage, but as the story revealed, they actually had a good marriage. Their relationship is good and they cared for each other very much. They even loved their mothers-in-law. It was heartbreaking to see the scenes between CBD and MJJ's mother. It was clear that he loved and cared for her. He was a good son-in-law. I love it when CBD took care of MJJ when she was sick, it was really loving. He was a good husband. They had a good marriage with great love for each other. They just had a hard time because it was hard to earn money and it was just hard to find the time for each other. In the end, their love for their son saved their marriage. Good story, good characters. I really love it.

Cherie Mar 07 2020 9:43 pm I'm so so glad I watched this. Really, kudos to the writer, director, and the rest of the team... they made an amazing drama with an beautiful message. It's realistic with a touch of fantasy and a great balance of romance, comedy, and melodrama. I'm not even close to the age of marriage... but this drama is made for all audiences. I could still easily empathize with the storyline and the characters, especially the two main leads. I could feel their true emotions as the story progressed. Their character development was very touching, and I cried with them. I was always rooting for the main leads, I could tell their love for each other is very deep despite their hardships, downfalls, and misunderstandings. I actually didn't feel the second lead syndrome at all for this one.

It doesn't matter how old you are, the messages and lessons this drama portrays relates to everyone: Not taking things for granted. Learning to let go. Communication. Second chances. Being grateful for the smallest things. My favorite quote from the drama: “Our youth, which was like the spring that had passed without giving us the chance to see the flowers, went around until it found us again, even more passionate and intense.”

I know I'm going to be re-watching this several times in the future. Please watch it! It's such a beautifully portrayed drama with a time travel concept that is done very well. I cried so much that my eyes became swollen though... so prepare tissues. Anyways, one of the best kdramas with an amazing performance from Jang Nara and Son Hojun, 10/10.

Fierrie Feb 10 2020 11:38 am I lost count how many times I watched this. I always cry at the end. Although I like Jung Nam Gil alot, I love how Jinjoo end up with his husband. I mean I believe in marriage. Wedding vows should not be taken as a joke. "For better or for worst, in sickness and in health. Till death do us part". That's why you should carefully choose whom you marry.

I heard a story from long time married couples, they don't always love their partner. They don't love them every single day, that could happen but that's how marriage works. You're not just in it because of the happy times, but also in the bad times. I kinda understand that even though I'm not married yet.

I love the concept, it is delivered well. Jang Nara is superb.

Sarah Jan 16 2020 9:12 am Let’s just say that this is the drama that made me a huge fan of Jang Nara. I know her name since around 2004 as one of the pioneers of Hallyu Wave together with Choi Ji Woo, Rain, Boa, etc...and I heard her name a lot while living in Korea in 2007. But i did not watched any of her dramas nor listen to her music until Fated to Love You 4 years prior... and which I dropped after just watching 1st episode. My karma is huge because after watching Go Back Couple, I watched all the dramas and movies she starred in both Chinese and Korean. And yes, watched her interviews I could barely understand...and listen to her songs everyday. Ok, that is insanity! I blamed it to Go Back Couple...hahaha...

Things I did not enjoy as much: - The plot centered around restoring the relationship between a husband and a wife, kinda unprecedented in Kdrama, however the adult me yearned for something a little feminist where the wife comes to realize that she is her center and sometimes it is beautiful to showcase how two people just drift apart because life happened.

Tuesday Apr 17 2019 6:17 am Jang Nara never grows old. She has chemistry both with Song Ho Jun and Chang Ki-yong. I like the plot especially when they travelled back in the 90s. All the support casts were so good too. This is a feel good romcom series that would make every couple think about their past before resulting into break ups.

But randomly, Go Back Couple recall my interest to rewatch. I ended WSL in ep 10, and began rewatch GBC. And wow, only need 2 days for me to end all episodes. Go Back Couple was the only drama that I rewatched! Great!

Situation and miscommunications separated them but, they still chose to be together though they can change their fate like she can be with their mother or their son. Ore-sama Jan 03 2019 7:50 am OMG! I never ever considered this drama, but but but I was wrong!! Just recently I came to watched it only because of Son Ho Jun anddddd it was soooo great! Every character is superb and adorable! and at the end I grow fond for Jang Ki Yong for this charming character!

It was not a typical cliche cringey drama..it have a lot of deep message which really touch my heart. It was professionally and maturely made! 10/10 rating I would say.

It was funny, sweet, romantic, sad and painful.... one of my top ten best korean dramas! i had seen son ho jun's performance in my secret terius and i'm glad i got to see him in this as a main lead! jang na ra has always been exceptional and she did a wonderful job in portraying her role as a wife and as a mother! the baby that played the role of seo joon is so adorable too!

the thing that i liked the most in this drama is that even if they went back to the past they never forgot about their son.... every child around them reminded them of seo joon... and the emotions they portrayed whenever they thought of SEo joon was soo touching! the rest of the cast did a pretty amazing job too... lee yi kyung is such a wonderful but underrated actor!!! this drama tells about a love that is so pure that even when a chance was given to change their fate, they chose to walk down the same path! i'm pretty sure it taught all of us some important lessons...

katofu Dec 07 2018 8:15 am I've never enjoyed any Korean drama to the end because it tends to drag on pointlessly. This drama was compact but with that slices of life that really touched my heart. All the characters were developed well and the scenes where Ma Jin-joo is stuck to her mother all the time really gets to me each time. I highly recommend this over Familiar Wife.

1. BAN DO corrected the wrong doings of PARK HYUN SEOK ended KIM YE RIM to marry the right guy for her. BAN DO's character really not inlove with JIN JOO because if BAN DO does he would'nt have an interest the where abouts of MIN SEO YOUNG. BAN DO saves JIN JOO from accident because of his quilt. The story ended BAN DO's SELFISH DECISION only for his own good.

2. JIN JOO wanted to go back the past to have a chance to do of what has not been done. JIN JOO has done so well for her mother but for her marriage she does'nt. Also, JIN JOO does'nt even realize what NAM GIL does was all what she wanted in life but what I admired was she brought the best of NAM GIL. Sad thing JIN JOO ended the same scenario of the past life living with the jerk.

3. NAM GIL in this story has lack of support, he needs CHEON SEOL to pursue his feelings towards JIN JOO. Eventhough, NAM GIL's character still made the viewers felt inlove with NAM GIL. I would rather love seeing both NAM GIL and JIN JOO together in the end. Despite BAN DO took the risk of saving JIN JOO's life in the last part but if not because of NAM GIL's present when PARK HYUN SEOK attacked JIN JOO there will be no JIN JOO in the end.

Hoping to see the continue love story of NAM GIL and JIN JOO in the future.

The story serves a lot of lesson to couples, at amy age, to would be married individual, to those kids who doest appreciate their parents and theres a lot. For me this is a full package well written very smart story, you have a great director, very talented actors and very intelligent writter. Thos can be a hollywood movie

I agree that choi Ban-do deserves to have happy ending with ma Jinjo.. Actually, I also fall in love with Jung Namgil's character. Maybe I will choose him to be together wih Jinjo if he can protect Jinjo in the last eps. But, he does not do something to protect Jinjo from the accident. I think Namgil' character does not fully love with Jinjo. So, I choose Ban-doo instead. Ban-do does everything for his family. He even sacrifices himself to protect ma jinjo. This drama is recommended for those married couple who have a hard time in ther marriage. I think communication and understanding are the important thing in a relationship. This drama is really worth to watch. I give score 10/10 for the great plot, story, acting

1. Broken family is just a normal thing now in the society. It shows the reasons why couples go separate ways.

2. You won't realize the importance of your parents until they are gone. This hit me so much since I lost my dad when I was 14. How I wish I could go back in the past like they did. I wanna show how I cherish him.

3. You have to face the truth that you wont be like you have dreamed of when you were young. In this century where job is really hard to find, you have to take any job just to meet your end especially if you already have a family. I cried so hard when Ban Do had to take all the belittleness from his superior just to make his family survive from this cruel world. He kept on apologizing when he should not be. He kept on entertaining and accomodating his superiors when he supposed to be resting at his home. He loves his family so much that he had to smile when he's going home when infact he's freaking broken inside. And her wife Jinjoo even suspected him cheating when infact he's been maltreated by his superior. That's when I realized that Bando really had a tough time.

This is a perfect 10/10 for me.

Acting wise and plot wise, 10/10

A must watch drama!

I'll watch it again if I have to!

I love Jang Nara, but the show surprised me with the "All is Well" reunion (Boreum and Jeongmin) and all cameos (esp. Sangmin and Hwijae's hilarious talk about marriage, divorce and Superman) and on top of it all: the parody of "Descendants of the Sun". I died! can't wait to see other works from the same writer and director. great job, everyone!

The storyline, the cast, the roles, the script and the cinematography including the 90s theme that was well achieved.There were no dragging scenes. That most of the episodes made me cry as Ma Jin Joo remembers her son and her mother. Jang Na Ra portrayed the role so well that made me carried away with the emotion she showed. Gladly, Son Ho Jun was not left behind with his acting skills too. Their acting was effective. Overall, I must say this drama is worth to watch! This is the first drama of Son Ho Jun that I watched and I can say that he can act! You hate him then you pity him then you love him! His character as Choi Ban Do was well represented! And mind you all, I never had a second lead syndrome (even on all dramas I watched where people really love the second lead), but he's my exception! I love him, I love him!!!! Overall, This drama is amazing :) Prepare to cry!

YamieX Mar 27 2018 1:13 am When I first heard of Go Back Couple, I wasn't too impressed with the casting, but now I think it's the perfect casting. With Jang NaRa and Kim Mi-Kyung onboard, you can at least expect some amazing scenes from these two ladies because they are great at portraying emotional scenes. After watching it, Son Ho Jun and the rest of the casts proved to be equally good in their crafts despite the fact that most of them are relatively new on screen or taking up leads for the first time.

I have read about how others thought that the ratings are bad and were cut to 12 episodes only but it ISN'T TRUE. This Drama is doing incredibly well in Korean. This is a variety drama, sealing it's fate as a 12 episodes drama to begin with. It is not a high rating drama if we just compare the figures with the usual K-drama. But because of it's timing, airing at 11pm, causing a lot of viewers to comment that if GBC was given a earlier timeslot, the rating would have been ALOT better. Having a 5 to 8% for a late night drama is an achievement because GBC has achieved ratings that previous program in the KBS Late Night Friday-Saturday dramas had not been able to get. Hence, KBS Awards 2017 even introduced it as a Counterattack viewership and real-life drama during the ceremony.

This drama is said and acknowledged by KBS and Netizens as one of the best drama in 2017 despite it's overused go back in time trick... Credits to the great script and solid acting from all actors and actresses created this wonderful gem in 2017. It is so good that people are calling for a season 2 but the production team decided not to do it coz they felt that there was nothing to go on with and didn't want to ruin such a beautiful drama.

Hopefully he'll get more & more recognition with welcome to waikiki (and upcoming dramas) as he's really good at acting especially with funny roles.

zombie Mar 12 2018 12:47 pm i pulled the plug halfway i didnt have the crave to watch the next epi cuz i got lost many times i didnt know if they were in the past or present i think they didnt do a good job of warning me they just throw everything at me without any order and told me to figure it out by myself the story line was weak and i knew what was gonna happen in the end there was no mysteries or secrets to be revealed or amnesiacs or people going crazy and losing their speech or babies getting switched at birth etc this drama was too dull for me or maybe im going through a bad trend cuz yesterday i dumped borg mom at epi 5 and last week i dumped chicago typewriter at epi 3 and our gap soon by halfway thats 4 in row

I loved everything in it and the story of the mom made me cry the whole series. It is unlike the other childish dramas which teach you nothing and just waste your time. I learnd from it to know my youth and family worths despite the obtacles in life. All of the actors did a great job and specially jin joo and ban do, everytime they cried i couldn't stop myself from crying also.

I loved this drama. I must admit I had a very strong second lead syndrome, since I just loved Nam Gil. However, considering Ban Do and Jin Joo had Seo Jin together I knew Jin Joo would never fall in love with Nam Gil, but still I loved Nam Gil so much. :) All the pairings in this drama were very lovable, and beside from the amazing bond between mother & daugher, I loved the friendship between Sul, Bo Reum, and Jin Joo, ahh it was just so wonderful I can not calm down to explain my thoughts in an understandable way. I was thinking that maybe Dok-Jae would get together with Sul, but maybe that would have been too much haha...

What I was missing though was when they came back to present time... what happend with Dok-Jae and Seo-Young, I was looking forward to see what happend to them. I also wanted to know about what kind of relationship Ban Do and Dr. Park would have, and what would Ban Do's job be??

So simple but awesome. Ban do and Jin Joo taught us a lot about how to appreciate your marriage life, how to be a great husband and wife, how to love your parents and family, and how to maintain various relationship. Son Hojun and Jang Nara really give us an awesome performance. Their chemistry can bring us to feel what they feel. Other cast give us their great performance too, especially for Ma Jin Joo's mom and sunbae Jung Nam Gil. Good Job!!!! Hope to see u again in next project, Son Hojun and Jang Nara ☺️

I love it that all the characters are lovable despite their obvious flaws. I love it too that the writer EQUALLY show how both of the main characters made mistakes in their marriage and how both of them slowly finding ways to each other back again naturally. Each of the characters' POV are told perfectly so we could understand each one of them without any bias.

I think what I like the most about this drama is how realistic is the portrayal of the characters. I can totally related to Jin Joo when she just following her mum the whole day or when she cried herself to sleep every night because she misses her son. It hits me right in the feels with how the writer structure everything.

The writing is no doubt solid with many life lesson in each episode. The story will make you laugh out loud and at the same time make you cry. One of the best k-romcoms I have seen in my 15 years of watching Kdramas. :D

Even though i finished watching, i still cry at scenes i remember. I usually don't like dramas with married main couples, but this drama is just too cute. I seriously love it. very recommended. Plus Ho Joon is hot, i can't believe i'm in love with an ahjusshi ❤❤ I've declared this the best drama i've watched 2017. Very heartwarming

It talks about married life, family life, a mother-daughter relationship, and friendship. I got so emotional that I needed to call my mom just to say hello to her. and this drama got me missed my dad more who passed already 8 years ago. I love all the characters, the friends and everyone else. Kim Mi Kyung is a wonderful mom. I am crying for all the the mother-daughter scene. Loving every bits and pieces of this show. One of the best! Congratulations to all the cast and crew!

I cried and laughed many times. This is the first time I watched Son Ho-Jun. Jang Na-Ra is always great with crying scenes, but with Son Ho-Jun, it's just so painful. He's one great actor. Two things that I really loved about this drama is Kim Mi-Kyung (Go Eun-Sook), almost all of her scenes made me cry, and Go Dok Jae for making me laugh so hard. I'll rate this drama 10/10.

Ann Dec 25 2017 4:43 pm LOVE LOVE this drama! Cried and laughed so much. Its one of those dramas that leaves you with a sigh at the end of each episode, it hits all the right spots. I just wish it was longer, I wanted them to show the changes more in the present day. But it definitely is one of the best dramas out there. When Jang Nara cries I cry too and Ban Do's side of the story is soo touching as well. From the beginning I wanted them to get back together (Nam Gil was sooo good too, I loved him as well), they suit each other well.

But one question: SPOILER AHEAD

On the present day, the court called them about their divorce. I was so curious as to what Ban Do's job was because he obviously isnt working for. Dr. park anymore? I wonder how things played out as it seemed Dr. Park's treatment of Ban do had such a huge part to play on how the couple drifted apart too.

I cried with Jin Joo whenever she missed her son and crying her heart out about it. I shared similar emotions with the main leads. Married life becomes mundane after years together and with kids, focus moves. I did not go through painful emotions like the leads, but I feel as a parent, being yourself is no longer a priority. At times I feel sad about it and yet it is hard to express it or even talk about it. This drama makes me take a step back to think and to remind us that our partner is as important. Couple should talk about their feelings, emotions etc..

I love the story and it's close to reality however it ended already I wanted more from them. I really like this drama. Highly recommended.

I sobbed in the scenes whenever she is with her mom because i feel the regrets of not being good with my mom before she died. Like i want to see her again and make all the bad things that happened between us erased and turn it to happy moments! ??? I'm also sad that this show end and that she did not end up with Nam gil because i am team Nam Gil! Lol! Anyway, congrats to you guys! I love the show and i told my friends to watch it too!

I was out of kdrama choices to watch (yes, i was having a moment where nothing sounded good..) and decided to give this one an episode or two of my time and wow, it was GREAT! Absolutely fantastic. It reminded me of the Reply 1997/1994/1988 series with focus of family, love, friends, humor, and life experiences. It had a few moments where the incidents weren't quite logical, but as we all know in kdramaland, anything is fair game.

It's only 12 episodes, so give this one a chance!

4.5/5 stars, really!

It hightlight how much parent especially mother give out so much love to their kid espcially first orn. Never take your parents for granted. I also like how they potrayed the real couple would go trough, in terms of emotions, actions. Really love this drama. One of the best I have ever watched.

I cried in every episodes, especially in the several last ones. This drama can be a marriage saver to some, I believe. Or at least this can change your perspective about life and makes you wanna love and understand your spouse and family members even more, just like me. Thumbs up! By the way, is it just me or what, I'm 100% team Ban Do since ep.1! Son Ho Jun is the best actor to play as Ban Do, can't imagine any other actors. Not to mention his solid chemistry with Jang Na Ra. The cast are wonderful. Ma Jin Joo, Choi Ban Do, Ma Jin Joo's mom, Nam Gil... Damn, their acting skills would me left drowning in my own tears. Even their eyes can express sadness making me cry like crazy. They put so much effort in heartbreaking scene making me cry everytime I watch even though I already rewatch like thousands of times.

Just a little bit disappointed coz I really wish to see more of supporting cast life. Go Dok Jae especially. But... I'll just assumed he will end up with Sul in Madagas"car" then. Hahaha...N yes Dr. Park... You deserve that kind of end after bullied my beloved Choi Ban Do. But to think Choi Ban Do is rich now is hilarious. Hahahaha..

That why many shows cannot air like normal and this good drama have to cut to 12 EPs because KBS don't have enough employee to work for it...

This is definitely the best Drama that I ever saw, I didn't usually drop my tears when watching movies or dramas but this Drama slayin my eyes more than 3 episodes. Week ago I said that this is one of the best drama I ever watch. But I want to revise what I'd said earlier. This is the best Korean drama that I ever saw. The actors, storyline, acting, comedy, and OST packed really well. I'll be really surprised if this drama didn't win any awards. The actors, the writer, the director would definitely win an award imo tho. Unfortunately, this is only 12 episodes, I wish they extend it somehow.

This drama already in one file with Ghost, 49days, Gentleman's Dignity, Signal, and Defendant. I thought I was supposed to be watching a fantasy series, but there so many events that are so realistic! It made me open my eyes up to so much, it made me understand so much about relationships. I Love how can one episode have me crying 1sec & laughing the next. 10\10

The story is so touching and moving, i cry my heart out in every episode that i watch and i'm dying to see the next one. Something that i noticed in the ened of the 12th episode, is that it feels like the end, but they didn't say it's the last episode, italso didn't have a cliff-hanger like the others, so i'm really curious again as to what will happen in the last 4 episodes. I would watch it even when it ends, and rewatch it again and again. I'm just so in love. This drama relays a message which is when you're in a relationship you have to communicate well with your partner , if not everything will fall.

It is so perfect with great actor/actress, plot story, great OSTs etc. and i realize this story full of laugh and teary scene especially with daughter-mother relationship, husband-wife relationship, and also the friendships.

At first i really hope Ma Jin Joo will end up with Nam Gil, but at end of ep 9, i know Choi Ban Do deserve her better. And they need to be together for the sake of their son.

20/10 for this beautiful story ! Hopefully this drama will get Best Drama award for 2017.

It’s so well written, actors and actresses were well picked, their wardrobe is amazing, the OSTs are heart warming and the drama is just so well structured. I love the way in some episode they reveal what really happened on that day 20 years ago. I give this drama 11/10

On Dramafever, they say there will be a total of 12 episodes, but here they say there will be 16 episodes. And on Wikipedia, they say there will be 20. What's going on? Is the show not popular enough and is getting cut short (I hope not)? Is it going on hiatus at 12 eps and continuing a couple weeks later? Does anyone know or have any ideas?

In episode 10 the writer can bring me on Choi Ban Do's shoes. While before, I always place myself as Jin Joo and wish Jin Joo end up with Nam Gil so much, but half of episode 10 make me feel sorry for Ban Do who always been missunderstood by Jin Joo and others. Moreover, he always respects towards his mom in law and love Jin Joo so much. He always tried hiding his suffer towards his family, and he wants his family feel secure and doesn't worry about him. He is a responsible husband.

The writer so great, she/he persuade me smoothly to make me can accept happy ending for Ban do and Jin Joo without angry/dissatisfied feeling. Daebak !!

I honestly love Jin Joo and Ban Do together and I guess they have hurt each other and all but in the end they still love each other. I'm rooting for their relationship to be mended and that they understand each other more. There's always two sides to a story and I guess Jin Joo began to doubt Ban Do's sincerity and the end of episode 10 was ... heartbreaking.

One of the best dramas I've watched so far^^ This deserves a 10/10 <3

Arghhh, why they make second lead's character and charisma so strong, I can't control my heart racing so much when looking at him :)) I like Jin Joo. She is neutral and gave Nam Gil victory at the end of epiloque. I made my day hihihi.

Half of me want the story end at episode 9th which Nam Gil as the winner ^ ^ . But I still really curious with their journey.

At the end we know Ban do will end up with jin joo...but please give Nam Gil and Jin Joo some sweet memories together again. Before Jin joo back to 2017 as full time mother without end of task, without privacy, without day off, without salary, and without acknowledgement.

It’s giving me serious second lead syndrome:(:( It’s same plot again where the 2 leads fight with each other and have lots of misunderstandings and Bammm comes the second lead where he is Mr.Perfect in every sense. Then Second lead falls head over heels to main actress and supports her, makes her happy which in turn makes male lead jealous and he fights with second lead for her.. In the end despite everything happens between the 2 of them the female lead chooses her husband coz it’s her one true love!!!! Damm I’m fed up with this concept!! What’s wrong with few rom-com kdramas?? It’s always the same concept!! Please lead lady get over your husband!! You guys quit coz it didn’t work out even after such a long period of marriage right? Even though there’s the Baby which makes many others want these leads to get back together.. But I don’t get it.. what about her life?? Even if they get back together now will they have happy everafter??? How long until the misunderstanding and miscommunication starts again?? Most of Jang Na Ra’s dramas which I have watched have same concept as this drama...She a good actress but please Unni choose a different plot next time. Nam Gil’s character has given me serious SLS this year.. I don’t want to end up crying and heartbroken.. so I’m stopping here

Also, this drama also taught me not to take things/someone for granted. Has great marriage advices as well. Definitely made me cry numerous of times. Great Drama, storyline, amazing actors & actresses! Definitely recommend this to everyone.

Every episode has something in it that will make you cry, laugh and in love. Jang Nara deserves an award in this such a great actress, this drama and all of the actors in this are refreshing to watch. I like how the story matches from future to its past stories. The second lead is also very charming that makes him also adorably good for the lead actress as couple though the first lead actor has it all to love this show especially to Jang Nara's thumbs up acting skills. This show really makes you more hook to it and eventually love it! Beautifully made and I'm looking forward in its upcoming episodes. Fighting!!???

After watching this drama, i felt like i'm scared to get married and I want to stay young and single. But later on, this drama gave good moral values if you notice it. It's not wrong to deeply falling in love and married at young age. The thing is, marriage is about commitment and your willingness to stay together with your partner at worst.

it's not wrong for you to see the main problem from Jin Joo's view. but it will be totally wrong if you ignore seeing Ban Do's side. i mean, how can some of you say he is a jerk when you've seen it before his being a loving father and hard-working husband for his family? he worked all night long just to make a living, even being an underling for a total jerk. they got separated by such stupid misunderstandings and we truly know and realize they still love each other very much, and don't you think it's not fair? for both of them? idk if you feel it too, but their love story is just so heart-warming for me. they do, deserve a chance. just say whether the baby exists or not, i'm still rooting for them to be together. for those reasons, that's why i choose Ban Do even from the very first episode. his being with his first love, i don't know about you guys, but i think i just see him as a caring old brother.

i know we all have rights to ship whatever couple in this drama, but it makes me mad when you start talking sh*t about the male lead. like omg, please see it more. please try to see the real meaning of this drama that the writer's trying to show. it's not just about the lovely-dovey thingy. it definitely is not.

just so you know, we still can't predict how the ending would be. just enjoy the story, and 'cause we'll get lot of things to learn in this drama. it's been a really beautiful drama. DAEBAK~~!

XD I'll admit at first I shipped JinJoo w/ NamGil but then I somehow realized how JinJoo and BanDo are for each other every DAMN passing eps (especially the "What Really Happened in 1999" scenes, which are so cute to leave out in the series), NamGil should go for the ballet tho lol

This kdrama has the "5min effect" on me, everytime I watch an entire ep, I feel like I've only been watching it for 5-10mins idk, but in reality more than 50mins just passed ≧∇≦ I JUST REALLY ENJOYED THIS DRAMA MORE THAN I SHOULD HAVE IN THE FIRST PLACE MIANNN

the divorced is just a cumulative of everything, caring for each other doesn't mean they have to go back together again. it's just a human nature to care of someone that already close with us. but that doesn't mean they can make them self happy inside.

Jiin Joo and Nam Gill are more likely able to fill each other, respect each other and happy together as he has a strong character that can support Jin joo, so she won't loose her self esteem.

because after all, choi ban do is the root of the problem. He's actually a coward guy with a low esteem since the beginning.

he regrets every single thing that he did during his youth life. That's why he became a lowly worker in the future and unconsciously made his wife has to feel the same like what he has been through. and it's actually showing how selfish he is... and he didn't deserve a second chance.

regardless his effort to make it better later on... if he really will do any big effort on fixing the relationship with jin joo, isn't it just another selfish wills to make him self feels better after realizing all the bad thing happened because of him?

a child needs to see and feel that both parents are happy, that's the important thing. Not a couple who force them self and the pattern will go round all over again.

Even if Jinjoo and Namgill meets in the future, and they can be together, will be the best gift for Seo Jin ^ _ ^

really hope the director didn't make this drama just like any other drama... and a divorced couple doesn't have to be making one side is the worst. both has a right to be happy.

This drama is not about "divorce" and making fun of it, but it is about finding the "lost" love again and discover one more time the one you love, and get a second chance to do things better. hlle Oct 20 2017 6:55 am Basically this is a live adaptation of one more try without the explicit content. still this is good at least for the first 2 episodes. sometimes mature webtoons just include sex scenes per chapter to make it sell but having this drama exclude it proves my point that most of the time you don't even need it. If it is what I think it is the next part is a spoiler.

I haven't finished reading the webtoon, I don't know how this will go on but inthe webtoon every time they have sex with another person they forget they're from the future, some people completely forget and just get stuck at the timeline they got transfered. I wonder how they'll do it here?
