Or to ahve got together with his mates who were also racing that night .. and make a gesture to the boys grandmother as an apology for nearly killing him ?

Chris Sep 11 2023 7:39 pm About Dan-ah being violent… I’m an American so we have different standards of what’s expected in a coworker/romantic relationship. Honestly she seems more playful than anything else and I’d welcome that. I’ve been through and actual abusive relationship but this is different.

One thing I don’t understand is Dan-ahs completely willing to move to an English speaking country (I assume USA from dialect in the English class) it’s not easier here. Is that a real perception on Korean adults aged 20-30? That it’s easier here? We have better work life balance and salaries but everything here is so expensive. For example, I’m 90% medically retired and get other nontaxed money from the government. Essentially 3200 usd a month. I could live a decent lifestyle in most of Korea with just that but here I need to make an additional 50-80k to live a decent living.

rose Sep 11 2023 5:43 pm it really annoyed me in Ep. 7 when Oh Jyn-Kyu was judging Ko Kyung-Po when he thinks he assaulted him, saying it was the law that he goes to jail, playing high and mighty .. because I wanted the two lead female characters to tell him he had no right to judge! when he had never apologised for causing the boy's coma and nor was he properly punished for his crime ... and got out of jail 'free' just because of his rich connections. But noone says that and that bugged me a bit ! I felt teh lead girl's reactions were pretty weak and not at all realistic in that situation in regard to Oh Jyn-Kyu ...

Kathy g Feb 25 2023 2:33 am The writers could have made a much better story with a few changes. Lead female (Dan-ah) was too violent. I find this very distasteful. It’s not ok to be hitting or kicking someone. It doesn’t matter if it’s a male or female. She only gets away with it because she is female, not cool. It just seemed like her character would twist someone’s arm or kick or hit if she was angry, frustrated or jealous.

Lead male(Kang-Soo) went overboard with the illegal racing and road closure issue. Jin-kyu was not at fault for an accident, but fining him for street racing was appropriate. Kang-Soo taking the blame for attacking Jin-kyu was also pretty stupid. Kang-Soo should not have been so flirty with web creator girl. He was seeing Dan-oh, so I can understand her being upset but her reaction was uncalled for.

I liked the owners of the restaurant they worked at, their characters were well written.

Second lead female was sweet, but could be very annoying at times and acted younger than 23. Second male lead had the most charisma of all the characters. Kim Seon-ho is just one of those actors that is just that good. He pretty much outshined the rest of cast even though they were all good.

As far as the fighting of restaurants putting each other out business. Sometimes you move your restaurant, that is not unusual. I live in a town of 13,000 and we have 201 restaurants, not including the gas stations that also serve food. Plus our grocery stores all have prepared food. Even through the pandemic we only had one restaurant close, but three new ones opened.

Just finished episode 11. So there is room for more character development.

Kathy g Feb 24 2023 2:12 am Only on episode 8. Female lead is way to violent. She only gets away with this terrible behavior because she is pretty. I don’t like her all. She pushed male lead down stairs. I understand she is miserable but pushing and hitting people make her no better than a thug. Why does no one call her on it. If she was a guy she would be in jail. Why did they always thing a strong independent woman either as to be a bitch to people or slapping people around.

The second lead female is innocent and sweet, though she is boy crazy. Sometimes her innocence could be annoying. Go Kyung-pyo did a good job with main lead, but a times a little too self-righteous. Kim Seon-ho best actor in drama as second lead.

Whether she's doing deliveries, chopping onions, walking around the restaurant, walking down the street, she is always being violent. I get the idea behind the strong girl character, but she must really cut it out. It's off-putting, even more so because she keeps behaving like this towards the person she "likes". How can you be hitting, twisting the arm, kicking and being verbally harsh to the person you like the whole flipping time?? And even pushing the male lead down the stairs without any remorse? Or hitting him when he was trying to stop Oh Jin Gyu from running away from the cops? I'm really frustrated with this character.

ActingFan Jan 01 2023 11:19 am Kim Sun-ho has significantly more charisma and chemistry than most actors. Audience is compelled to support him, and care most about his story over other characters. Casting is key - Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha got it right.

Animaxer Jan 10 2022 3:28 am Ep 5 , Jin gyu suddenly come to hospital and say to Dan ah to trust him that he framed . I can understand when Dan ah didn't believe kang Soo and even kick him , because JG already tell her first to believe him .

Then after that , his brother come with his man to take him to police station, I can accept if Dan ah didn't get involve because she didn't know his brother or what happen , but why she still get involved and fight too ?? We all know Dan ah don't want any trouble for her goal , save money to migrate , even can abanding her family . SO after ep5 , I'm dropping this series

I just watched it since I saw Kim Sun Ho in StartUp and his role here was okay as well- The second supporting couple was kind of cute, although she seemed to be a bit stupid. I also did not really like Kim Sun Hos character here compared with StartUp or ChaChaCha Hometown. However, he was still having a better development here than the mainlead. I was all the time fasting forward to the Kim Seon Ho scenes since the main leads interaction was so super boring.

Cannot recommend it - it´s really not a good drama and you will be annoyed if you watched it because of Kim Sun Ho, since he does not have a lot of scenes here.

While some of the character development was well done (Ko Gyung Pyo), I was left with the feeling so much more depth & character development could have been developed from the script. Chae Soo Bin’s character took too long to show some character complexity. Slapping & kicking people around got pase & irritating quickly. The storyline was interesting but somehow the potential to lift the drama higher never came. But again, I otherwise enjoyed it.

nani Sep 22 2021 4:57 am Just finished episode 5, kinda frustrated on what they did to Oh jin-gyu. yes he was guilty of the illegal raced, but to place all the blame him on why Hyun-Soo is in coma is such a disappointment to the lead male characteristic. In the first place its Hyun-Soo fault for beating the red light and got to an accident.

Jamie Sep 22 2021 1:23 am Watching this series is quite frustrating and sometimes annoying because of the storyline and character development. Though it stars Go Kyung-pyo (love him from Reply 1988) and Chae Soo-bin (she is adorable on Love in the Moonlight) but their characters somewhat bland and no chemistry. The second leads however really took the main leads' spotlight whenever Kim Seon-ho where (I love him from Start-Up seriems) and the cutesy Ko Won-hee. I'm loving the first few episodes but it all becomes a mess after the accident. Although Kim Seon-ho did a fantastic job in acting especially on those heavy scenes where he express his frustration, anger, resentment and the like. But he can also shift to comedy and being funny with Ko Won-hee and I must say they look good together on screen.

abigailxxxx Jul 13 2021 10:39 am idk why i started this drama, i just saw some scenes and i think it's quite funny especially kim sun ho. but as i watch this.... idk how to say this, like out of nowhere kang soo gets closer to dan a where he and ji yoon actually look better together, they already have chemistry from the start. and dan-a and jin hyu have better chemistry too. i'm still on ep.6 so idk how it'll end up though... and from the synopsis, i think it'll be like kinda start-up drama (i haven't watched that though), but the part where jingyu was arrested and they become enemies, that really makes this drama a mess (i think). kangsoo blames jingyu for illegal car-racing that indirectly makes his friend's in coma. but his friend is in wrong side too for breaking the red light.... i like seeing kangsoo and jiyoon so mostly i watch their parts, and some parts i think it's bearable to watch.. i don't really like this drama, but i don't hate it either. i still continue to watch it until finished..

Rawan Jul 12 2021 7:17 am I liked Kang-Soo alot, but that's honestly the only good thing about this kdrama. The female lead was legit the worst character. No emotions, no development. All she did was get angry at people and hit them. She really lacked depth.

The two leads honestly had NO chemistry whatsoever. It was like they were both in completely different scenes. I felt no spark between them, even when they tried to create a romantic moment between them.

You will miss out on nothing if you don't watch this. Seriously save your time.

The second lead totally over shadowed the main lead. i loved watching the second lead more only because they acted really well compared to the mains. i couldn't bear with the main female lead.. the role was not played that well. I wouldn't say it is worth watching. It is just okay or maybe below average. Nothing New.

Though the racing location is illegal, the accident was fault by the victim and they did not look at it. I hate it because I love seeing the lead and kim sunho gets along together. And female leads was so good at the start but as the story goes she became a bit of annoying.

I don't find it boring and this drama will still make you feel some feels. I both really love the 2 couples and there actings. I like the character development of Oh jingyu too.

Overall I would rate this drama a 9/10. This drama is above average but somehow I cannot pinpoint any special about this drama. The storyline isn't that captivating, but maybe because of the characters and their actings, I stay and didn't find it boring. You can give it a try if you want to watch this.

You don't miss anything not watching it.Totally agreed with other comments that the second lead couple stole the show....Their storyline was more amusing.....I loved second lead female character...she's so adorable and funny...and the actress did such a good job. I don't like how they designed Dan-ah's character.....Her attitude was terrible.... She was so negative....and the actress did a just so-so job.....her crying/ dramatic scenes were pretty meh...she couldn't really cry.....

The character portrayals were realistic and confirming. After going through 2020 here in America with the twin diseases of Covid 19 and a malignant narcissist as president, I really needed and appreciated a well written feel good show where truth and justice prevails. Thanks, better than a year of therapy.

The only thing that I find disturbing is how powerful and extremely wealthy men physically assault their own children, male sons, in such cruel and violent manners. It is a recurring theme in other series like Revolutionary Love. I wish the South Korean culture would change so that men would see how abhorrent such actions truly are.

I have watched all his drama and His drama never fails. After watching all the roles he has played so far, all his roles gave me positive vibes specially in Strongest delivery man. Honestly i feel like his character as Gangsoo is abit more humble role compared to his other roles in Reply1988, Jealousy Incarnate and Chicago Typewriter that i must say is a pretty big time role already for a supporting character.He is such an underated actor. Now im just waiting for his new drama 2020 Private life his 3rd male lead. Omg im already very excited. He just never fails to deliver as an actor its why i like his dramas whether he is lead or not. He acting is just so natural and he doesnt have to show his abs or act all sexy and hot or so cute just like idols or other actors just trying to get attention. He is acting is natural and his handsome face is such a bonus.

b Jun 18 2020 11:14 am Jin Gyu AND Ji Yoon. they're officially one of my favorite kdrama couples. theyre better than the main leads. and i fell in love with Kim Sun Ho because of this drama. jin gyu's character development was really wholesome to watch!! i felt really relieved that he wasnt the bad guy, characters like him are better than the pure good ones like kang soo. chae soo bin's fight scenes are so entertaining and oozing with big dick energy. i like how this was kind of similar to itaewon class. i think itaewon class focused more on the business and revenge aspect while this drama focused more on friendship and neighborhood. i think i enjoyed this better because of the cast especially kim sun ho.

I like the actors acting and the balance of the story among the brotherhood, romance, the neighborhood etc. I love its satisfying ending. I like how it was written compared to itaewon class. Its more uplifting and fulfilling to watch. Im so happy with this drama :)

Despite its not so high popularity, I liked this drama so much. It really delivers the message about the importance of hardwork, kindness, and friendship. I loved the romance, plot story and all, but the message is truly what sets this drama apart.

The couple is not the typical very rich guy poor woman! It was more like poor guy and poor woman together building a company againts a very rich and mean person. Their romance is natural. Building slowly and gradually over time. Not the typical love at first sight and suddenly both very attracted type.

CSB and KGP couple is cute though, eventough this is NOT a rom-com drama. Their romance is a side story. A cute one nevertheless.

Congrats for the writers for making this drama. 100/100

Laura Sep 21 2019 3:11 am Well I watched this again after years.It is one of my favorite drama all actors were awesome .I dont know why many people dont like the main couple .Its true that 2nd couple is more cute & lovely.But I like main couple more.Dan Ah is a very independent girl,yp but I hate that she always hit people specially at first episodes but with her career its understanable ,as without being tough she cant survive .KangSoo is extremely nice,smart,handsome ,fair,honest,faithful ,caring ,man of his words,very manly ,yet sweet & cute.He is my ideal bf.Their romance is not forced like many dramas it develops slowly ,stranger to a lover.Its no wonder that such a guy can melt tough Dan Ah in to a girl crazy in love . I like to see a romance about a general couple like this than Rich guy,poor woman typical dramas.This story is inspiring for youth.Character development of 2nd couple is also epic,how they finally stand alone etc..Im very satisfied with Gyung pyo's acting ,It was very natural .

I have nothing to say about Chae Soo-Bin's acting or role in this drama (she is not someone who makes me want to watch a drama just because I see her name) but I was really hoping to watch Ko Gyung-Pyo after seeing him in Reply and Chicago Typewriter dramas - he was so impressive and promising... So sorry for him... :'( Hope he gets offered better scenarios and roles soon ^.^

Neither here nor on the streaming drama movie sites, most of the audiences are defending Oh Jin-Gyu's character. In the real life here in Korea, Gang-Soo's character has done the right thing. Based on the law, the one who's responsible and must be blamed for the accident is Oh Jin-Gyu for illegaly blocking the road. Hyun-Soo's characted also did the wrong thing for neglecting the traffic light. The taxi driver action is correct for taking responsibility to bring the victim to the hospital. It's pretty logical. I've seen the similar cases here in Korea. Overall, pretty entertaining drama^^.

So I thought deliveryman was a new concept and was interested in it at the beginning. But as I got to know Kang Soo's character I start to hate him (at the end). He is a fkn p****, he suddenly gave up his business and ran away (he is always the guy going all in). He made Dan Ah go and search for him. The scene where the spy deletes the CCTV, wtf Why did she delete one scene and left the rest?? Because of that we know u are a fkn spy. There was also another scene where the other resturant Leader went to see Kang Soo because they suspected him lying to them to gain money (rain scene). Why the FK did they go whole group when only 2 people talked, that was so unneccessary.

Kang-Soo would have forgiven him (or at least tried) I'd he had attempted to apologize or make efforts to right his wrong. However, all he did was jump on the rich woman bandwagon and try and destroy (or help destroy) more people's lives. I think someone trying to always do the honorable thing is awesome, and carrying for the people around them, even if they can't magically pay off said persons debt. Anyway, it just goes to show that a lot of people prefer richness over goodness and strength of character in spite of opposition and position in live. Rooting for this drama. FIGHTING!!!

Plus the lead guy looks more evil to me with his actions. Having somebody arrested without knowing all the fact of the accidents and blaming him for no reason is just ridiculous to me. What if there was really road work, would he go ahead and blame the state? Just plain ridiculous, and I'm done with this drama.

Omg this drama is so frustrating.... out of all the dramas I've ever watched and I've watched a lottttt THIS is the first drama that I fully exit the page and stopped watching... it's THAT frustrating. Firstly, idk why the storyline is like this. It's so useless they make us fall in love with the second male lead with the dimples then they trash his character. He went through a lot but they make it all seem like it's nothing and he should deal with it easily bcs he's rich!! He's human too!! And he has feelings he feels hurt. The writer made kang soo seem like a hero and for what? His friend is still in a coma and they are acting like OJK put him in a coma... wow instead KS should help his friends grandma... and danah will go to KS in the end they really want to punish OJK i'm soooo on his team this is unfair I hate watching injustice fr I thought kangsoo was a good guy I can't stand his character anymore I love te actors tho there's nothing wrong with the acting. The storyline is annoying as hell and is so uncomfortable to watch. I wish there was a better storyline. If the writers wanted to make OJK seem like a criminal they should have made him commit a bigger crime so I feel less sorry for him... he really is a good guy. Kang soo needs to deal with his emotions properly his friends in a coma he shouldn't put 100% blame on OJK wasnt his friend the one who went past the red light? Hmm wasn't he the one who told his friend to drive late at night to his mum??? Cut OJK some slack please writer-nim maybe then I'll watch the show until then adios

It is not his sin that he comes from a chaebol family. Having met this bunch of deliverymen as acquaintances really open up his mind on the other side of life - the working class. Hoping for more character development of all the actors. Enough of the angle about blaming him for the lead's friend, as Jin-Gyu said it really was not his intention to cause any harm.

I rewatched the drama n found, his friend is guilty for cousing accident since he is speed up his motor at yellow traffic light. He is so arrogant, thats why it end up to be an accident. Secondly, if the accident happen, they should call an ambulane for help. We cannot move out the body without knowing the real condition. It is only making worst the injury. Yes I agree, the stiry is full of narcistic, almost all the carracter is over confident with their life. Not sure for the end of the story, lets patienly watch the drama.

It's really interesting to see and also this drama is so entertaining and funny! Like Kang Soo having so many connections within the delivery work, sometimes they act like a delivery-gang xD Personally I'm enjoying the second lead guy character the most atm. I've never seen Kim Sun-Ho before but he is doing a really good job with this one!! This drama is hilarious and the romance is also good! Doing a really good job with the love triangels that are forming too. Even when I kinda know who's going to end up with who from the decription I'm starting to ship opposite characters together... The plot is developing well too. Preview for ep.5 looks so good and interesting, ahh I can't wait! I really enjoy every episode from start to finnish, without skipping or even checking how much of the episode I have left, because no scene is too boring or unwanted for me! Yay I love this drama! So far I think this will be my August favorite!

kawai Aug 06 2017 5:48 am one of my qualifications of a good drama is not having noticed or checking the length of time watching it. And this one did not disappoint. I didn't noticed that i've been watching it for an hour because the characters are enjoyable, even though it'c kinda predictable on the first episode ,(the highschool girl who does not really look someone in highschool might be his sister and her mother who is building a shopping mall might be her mother who ran away) Love the fact that Gyung Pyo Oppa is no longer a second lead lol but still show superb acting! I ship him with Soo Bin coz she's so adorable , FIGHTING

Nor Aug 05 2017 11:12 pm OMG! This drama is f**king lit! Its just episode 2 but the flow of the story id daebak! I love how the characters are connected already. I hope its rating is high because why not!!! I think I'll be inspired and will cry a lot watching this drama! Fighting!
