With so many young actors trying to cross over from Kpop, it is a delight to enjoy the performances of a true professional; because those performances are achieved through hard work, many years of experience and abundant talent. She steals many scenes, often without a single word of dialogue. Her mastery of posture, body language, movement, and the use of her very expressive eyes is formidable. But she goes beyond that with her ability to not just convey, but make the viewer feel, the emotional turbulence of her characters. It is a travesty that this talented young actor has not received multiple awards. But that is definitely a negative comment on the state of Korean drama awards, not on her abilities. Age notwithstanding, she is, without question, the best actress in Korea.
